We initially had to postpone our June 2020 wedding to June 2021. Susan was very understanding and super accommodating when we had to shift our plans. Wonderful Floral Service and Wedding Planning! Wow Experience!! We just got married last month, and our wedding was just PERFECT. So Beautiful and Memorable. Without Eventive Moments, I don't think the wedding could be this much successful. Hiring Eventive Moments for my wedding coordination was my biggest regret and I would strongly advise you to reconsider. Susan will overpromise and underdeliver and cause you more stress for your wedding. Everything that went wrong on our wedding day was because of Eventive moments. When we first met with Susan 1.5 years before my recent wedding, we quickly hit it off. I really enjoyed her friendly personality and she did make us feel like we were in good hands. But as we came closer to our wedding date, everything started to fall apart. She missed an in-person meeting that she had set but forgot about - we were 5 minutes away and had I not texted her to say we were parking, we would have been waiting for nothing. She quoted the wrong prices and items on her contracts so I had to constantly flag them, she even wrote the completely WRONG names, dates and venue of another couple's wedding to my other vendors when she introduced herself as our coordinator!!! She apologized for each mishap and blamed it on "the busy wedding season", so I tried to give her the benefit of doubt and hope that when we got closer to the wedding month, she would really pull it all together. Clearly, we placed too much faith in her. She made everything so much more stressful for us and we were completely miserable. Two weeks before the wedding, she called to let me know that she had made another error in the contract. For over a year, we had been talking about her team (herself, an assistant and a floral designer) being available for our wedding day and she even confirmed the vendor meals during all our final details meetings. Now, she was saying that she had mistakenly put that down and it was actually going to be just her setting up all the decor, floral arrangements, coordinating vendors AND managing timeline by herself in the 2 hour set up time slot. She tried to make me pay additional for her to bring an assistant to help even though that was what we had agreed on from the start! When I politely asked to stick with our original agreement, she snapped at me and basically hung up on me. Two weeks before my wedding day. 1 week before our wedding, our final documents and vendor COIs were due to the venue. On the day that it was due, I had to remind her to send it through because the venue was waiting on her to complete everything. She said she couldn't get a response from the shuttle service we hired and when she forwarded the email chain to me, it showed that she had only emailed them that morning and two weeks prior. No follow through in between. My husband had to call the shuttle service himself and they informed him that our venue already had their COI. What a waste of time! Had Susan just checked with our venue, she would had saved everyone all this trouble. On our wedding rehearsal day, she was 40 minutes late and the last person to arrive. She knew that we had to arrive 15 minutes early to sign the last documents with the venue and still showed up late without any courtesy to text or call about when she was arriving. Our whole bridal party and every single family member was standing there waiting. She showed up and didn't even greet anyone, let alone apologize to my husband and I. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. The day of the wedding was a COMPLETE DISASTER. She was so behind on putting together all the decor that she didn't attend to us, or let alone acknowledge us nicely when we arrived. Even after I had labeled every box, prepared every candle, and helped to make the placement as easy as possible, her team still couldn't execute. She didn't inform me that it was time for me to be hidden away in the right place, so I had to direct myself and ended up in the wrong section behind the ceremony area where everyone was sitting. Her solution was to "sneak" me behind the crowd right before the ceremony and assured me that no one would turn around, but of course, everyone saw us awkwardly walking past before my big entrance. It was so embarrassing and she completely ruined that big reveal for me. To make matters worse, she handed my maid of honor MY bridal bouquet as she was walking out before me and failed to notice! I had to gesture to her and she ran and yanked it so forcefully out of my sister's hands that all of the flower petals got stuck on her dress. Throughout the whole wedding, our guests kept coming up to us and asking who the angry lady was storming around the venue. Not once did she smile throughout the night and everyone noticed. I also told her so many times that the wedding cake was not to be served to guests. Even my cake baker told her and the venue. Well, the cake was served and neither my husband nor I was left with anything. We don't even have a slice to freeze for our first anniversary. We booked our wedding with the Maxwell House in Pasadena and met Eventive Moments since they are the preferred coordinator for the venue. Since we didn't want to deal with day-of scheduling and such, we booked Eventive Moments as the day-of coordinator for our wedding. Susan and Lindsay were very organized, direct, and helpful when it came to creating the wedding schedule, providing vendor recommendations, keeping vendors accountable, handling any problems, and even small things like ensuring that the bride drinks enough water throughout the day. Our caterer forgot half of our appetizers and EM worked with the staff to ensure we had enough food available during cocktail hour so our guests wouldn't get hungry. They did a great job handling every and any problem that occurred. EM's open communication and honesty was much appreciated and it really helped our day move so smoothly. They are also fluent in Korean so they helped deal with my Korean family members' questions. EM prices are very reasonable and the cost is totally worth the peace of mind during your wedding day. If I could do it all over again, I'd probably hire their floral services as well to streamline vendors and based on their IG photos, they have beautiful flower arrangements. My now husband found Lindsay and Susan during an open house event at Maxwell House. Meeting Susan and Lindsay, I knew they were the perfect fit as our wedding coordinators. So we hired Eventive Moments a year prior to our wedding. Although we only hired EM for the month-of coordination, they are always available for a phone call, email, or a quick text. This wedding would not have been amazing without such beautiful flowers from Eventive Moments. Susan was very friendly, attentive to detail, professional and she made sure that our wedding vision came true! She was easy to talk to on the phone and on Zoom and she even explained to me and my ex-fiancé, now husband, what kind of flowers were available in season that would look great together and how they can match well with our wedding colors. Highly recommended! We hired Susan to be our coordinator and florist for our wedding and she did a fantastic job for both services. Eventive Moments provides the best value for wedding coordination and floral arrangements and they certainly exceeded my expectations. One of the things I really appreciated was how quickly she responded to any questions I had (I had asked questions throughout the entire year I had been planning my wedding--even up until the night before! I liked how she met with me and my (now) husband a few weeks before the wedding to go over all the details, and we appreciated her guidance for what to do during the rehearsal. She kept everyone on track throughout the wedding and also made sure everything went smoothly! Another thing I really appreciated was how thoughtful and caring Susan was during the wedding. She made sure to check up on me a few times to make sure I was OK and to see if I needed anything. The only thing that didn't go according to how I originally planned it was that the flower bouquets turned out looking a little different from the inspirational photos I sent, but they still turned out beautifully so I was satisfied nonetheless. Susan at Eventive Moments was nothing but professional, capable, attentive and resourceful. I originally had planned to not hire a wedding coordinator, but in less than 30 days before, I scrambled to find help. Eventive Moments, luckily, was available, and, with their help, we were able to get everything in order within a week and a half. Even though I hired Susan as a day-of coordinator, she was incredibly helpful in the weeks leading up to the date. Susan developed an extensive, organized spreadsheet that both of us could edit and update, including a timeline, vendor list, decoration list, and things to do. Even though I didn't use her floral services, she was very helpful and gave advice on floral decorations, which I actually used. She was always prompt in response and also followed up as needed. On the day of the wedding, I did not have to raise a finger or have to focus on anything but myself. She set up the welcome area, table decor, sweetheart table, and communicated with all the vendors. She had everything under control, and her calm demeanor helped calm me as well. The night went so seamlessly, and I would highly recommend hiring Eventive Moments for any kind of wedding coordination. Even my guests, vendors, and then you contact person noted how efficient Susan was throughout the wedding planning process. Eventive Moments was my wedding vendor for both flowers and same-day coordination for an October weekend wedding: Flowers When all other vendors came short, Eventive Moments made it happen. For weeks, I was searching for a floral vendor that could make our vision come to life while maintaining my budget. None were able to come close to how well Eventive Moments did. Susan was able to put the floral designs together at the price I needed to be at. She outbid everyone by her amazing attention to detail, her knowledge of what flowers can work as substitute options, and her empathy toward the client as a bride. She understands the industry well and was able to make our wedding day so beautiful and elegant, just like our vision. Coordination I also worked with Eventive Moments for their day-of coordination, with Maiquel as my coordinator. I was amazed by the level of detail and attention given to each aspect of the reception program when we were at the preparation stage. Once all details were reviewed, Maiquel took the lead in the last-minute communications with all vendors, taking away the burden from us. She also took care of everything for me the day of, especially making sure we kept to the program timeline. At the end of the night, all our personal items were all packed up and ready to go, without having to worry about it. I didn't hire Susan, but she was the coordinator for our dear friends' wedding. It seemed at first she was going to be an amazing piece of the wedding planning for our friends. However, that luster wore off after seeing her in action. She was late to the rehearsal, which created a lot of stress on the bride and just in general to the wedding party because everyone was just waiting around for direction. During the rehearsal she didn't seem to engage with all the wedding party members to give them direction or include them. During the wedding, she didn't communicate a lot to the DJ or even the bride about the rules and details of the venue. So there was a lot of scrambling and solutions that the bride and groom needed to handle the day of their wedding. After the wedding, the venue was very clear about what needed to be completed and Susan seemed to let a lot of the work be on the groom and the groomsmen. Again communication was an issue with how Susan operates and that put a lot of stress on the bride and groom, whom hired her. read more
