Both look not only beautiful, but they made the entire process so easy for me and it was truly a pleasure to work with both Kathy and Suzy. Their calm tone and professionalism made me calm! They chose the font, which was stunning, the colors (gorgeous choice of colors) and the wording was better than anything I could have come with on my own. I loved how fast they were ready too. My wedding invites I just picked them up today. I can honestly say they are the most beautiful invites I've ever seen... Kathy helped me pick out the colors and style and she has great taste. I'm embarrassed to say I fell into the hype-the hype of ordering wedding invitations from overseas and expecting top notch material. After submitting my order from a Chinese website I immediately knew I made a mistake and quickly requested a refund. I remembered one of my vendors gave me Carmody and Co's business card and I immediately drove out there and had the pleasure of working with Kathy. I was able to touch all the papers and envelopes and knew exactly what to expect. In a matter of 2 weeks I received the most beautiful invitations. I can't say enough about the service and quality offered at Carmody & Co! I was planning a big event and designed, and ordered, our invitations online. When the invitations arrived, although I had ordered and reviewed several samples, the final printing was not what I would have hoped and I was disappointed. I then found Carmody & Co. and stopped into the shop. They have a lovely, large selection of invitations and other cards and products which gives one the opportunity to see and feel the product before ordering. Kathy is helpful and knowledgeable and was able to help me enhance the invitations that I had already ordered while also creating beautiful embossed envelopes that complimented them. I recently came to Carmody & Co based on a referral from another institution who had previously used their services. I was under a tight deadline which got even tighter as time went on. I was doing an event which required a caterer and after the invitations had gone to print I received a call at 6:00 am from the caterer letting me know she was not able to accommodate our event any longer. As panic arose I called and emailed Kathy who had informed me earlier in the week that the invitations had gone to print. Short of a miracle she was able to stop the print and wait until I secured another caterer. She did not give me a hard time or threaten to charge me more money. Kathy was pleasant from the beginning to the end and the invitations turned out great. I highly recommend Carmody & Co as a choice for quality products and great customer service. I wanted to like this place because the staff was very nice...but being nice doesn't always get the job done... I came into this store because I needed wedding invitations, the graphic designer and manager, Kathy seemed understand the concept I wanted... I gave her all the information, dates, location etc. This was done on 2/28, I also gave a $200.00 deposit. Kathy said that she would have a proof emailed within 3 days, I was so excited! I also ordered a stamp with my family name and address and they approximated that it would arrive in 1 week. After 8 days of waiting and not receiving a phone call or email, I decided to go to the store to speak with her. I live about 30 miles away, and when I came in, she asked me to come back in 3-4 hours, which in my mind meant that she needed time to work on it. I had my 18 month old child with me, so I walked around old town Pasadena for as long as I can, but when it got cold, I went back to the store and decided to wait in there. Kathy produced the proof half an hour later, and it was NOTHING like the concept we described. I asked her about the font, she said that what I wanted was not "wedding font"....really?! The proof looked like she made it in 30 mins, I could have made that in my computer at home. I felt overwhelmed and upset. I definitely did not want to work with her, ever. If this is the quality of work, I could not trust her to do my wedding invitation, I asked for a refund, and to make matters worse, she said that there was a $50.00 fee for the proof and labor, whatever! I just wanted to get out of there.... then, a few weeks later, I had to come in again, to get the stamp which was supposed to arrive 3 weeks earlier, but didn't, turns out they had to reorder it.... PLEASE STRONGLY CONSIDER THIS IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO TRUST THIS STORE WITH YOUR INVITATION NEEDS. they are not consistent.... I feel as if I wasted time and money at this store. read more

They did all the stationary and signage for my upcoming baby shower, got it done in a super timely manner, and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. I used this place for my wedding invitations, programs, and place cards. The invites were AMAZING. People raved about them for months after receiving them. They were super high quality for not a whole lot more expensive than a similar quality "do it yourself" kit, but without the headache of actually having to do all the work yourself. We also received a lot of compliments on our programs on our wedding day. They have a wide variety of colors and styles. Kathy did a great job listening to what we wanted and delivering great quality products. If you have the little bit of extra money to spend and don't want the headache of trying to do the entire design yourself, I HIGHLY recommend Carmody. We drove to the shop from our house (~45 minutes each way) about 6 times and I would do it again in a heart beat knowing the quality of the product we received. read more
