    Galentine!
    Sarah S.

Perfect outing activity with friends, family or partner. We did this for galentine this year and it was a very fun experience. The front desk lady was helpful and patient with us. We had a group of 8 girls. Everyone pick different items to decorate. The charms were very cute and they definitely have variety of them to fit whatever style you're going for. The tutorial was easy to follow even if u don't have any experience you can create a masterpiece. Definitely a cute date night idea. Come check them out.

I had SO much fun at Pinku! I've always wanted to try Decoden and this is a fun, no-stress way to experience it. It's a bit pricy as we paid over $100 for two, but it's such a fun bonding DIY experience and you get a really unique souvenir out of it so I think it's worth it! I made a heart jewelry case as it looked the most fun to decorate, and my husband picked a glasses case. The project that you pick determines the price, how many colors of piping you're able to pick, and how many big charms you can grab. There is also a whole table dedicated to free charms that you can grab an unlimited number of. Doing the Decoden is surprisingly easy if you're not too caught up on perfection, and I'm really happy with how mine turned out and I thought my husband's was so cute as well. The 2 hours you're given to decorate is plenty of time. The finished products are packaged up nicely in little cake boxes. It's such a fun date idea or fun activity to do with your friends. Highly recommend and I thought this would be a one-and-done for me but I would not mind going back and making another project in the future.

Pinku offers an absolutely unique and adorable experience. This was my second time doing this activity with my daughter and it's one we'll definitely do again. We were lucky to get a same day appointment, a couple years ago it was booked out over a month. You select an item that you want to decorate, choose two colors of the "fondant" and start picking your charms. They have the most adorable selection and with a little creativity you can make some really cute designs. My daughter and I spent about 90 minutes designing our item and they turned out great. Looks good enough to eat . It's not the cheapest activity but it's such a nice experience and good quality time that doesn't involve eating or shopping which 9/10 a teenager chooses as their preferred activity. The staff is friendly and helpful and will give you tutorials on how to lay down the fondant like an actual cake. Super cute, girly experience, give it a try!!

Came here with my girlies for galentines day and everyone had a blast. Don't forget to follow their IG and tag them on your story to receive $5 off. [Service 5/5]: Came here with a group of 8 and they were able to accommodate us all on one table. Everyone was so friendly and didn't make us feel rushed. I like how they gave us all a practice paper to practice piping. It was a lot harder than it looked, but with all the charms, it was hard to notice the imperfections. I also loved how they give everyone a free token to win a prize in the claw machine. I won a cute butterfly keychain with a $5 off coupon for next time. [Selection 5/5]: I love how many different types of charms there were. And they also had a table of unlimited smaller charms too. [Value 3/5]: In terms of value, I feel like they could do a better job with pricing the smaller hair clips or picture frames more relative to their size. However, overall I would definitely come back and would recommend to others.

    Sooo cute

Had another great experience and fun time here. Made reservation to come in on a Sunday afternoon, the parking lot was open so parking was free but the lot does get crowded. Customer service was perfect! The associates teach you how to use the pipe glue. We wanted to decorate the large picture frame ($50), which we got to choose 15 large charms, then it was unlimited smaller charms. It's so fun to decorate and get creative. My daughter loves arts & crafts so this is her kind of thing.

I had so much fun here and I fear it has unlocked a new hobby for me. The two hours is more than enough time to decorate your item of choosing. I recommend choosing the frostings that have glitter in them, because the solid color ones seemed a bit runny. They can do a piping tutorial if you request. I also recommend that so that you can know what the different pipes are! There is a discount if you tag them on your instastory, and they gave us a coin to try the claw machine :,) Plus, there is a designated parking lot.

Very cute place, so many options for things to decorate, and a wide selection of charms to add. I do wish I could've used more colors of glue, but overall it was a great experience. The lady who greeted us was very kind, informative, patient, and gave us a demonstration- I'm a very crafty person and wanted to find an activity where my family could have just as much fun even though they aren't as crafty and this was the perfect place. They do have a pretty strict policy on being on time and there aren't any public bathrooms in the lot even, but you do get two full hours of uninterrupted calm craft time- I'd definitely come again!

This is a super cute studio for DIY decoden charms on phone cases, picture frame, purse, jewelry box, hair pin, hair claw clip, gingerbread house, etc. The employees explain the process so you are informed step by step. The charm options are abundant and laid out on the table in front. Depending which item you get, that will determine how many charms you get to choose. For jewelry box, I was able to choose 20 charms, there is a separate table for certain charms that are unlimited and you may use as many as you want. If you need a piping tutorial, they will show your table how to pipe. The whole appointment takes about 2 hours. Very fun activity to do for all ages.

This place was so cute, I could've spent many hours here (but sadly was maxed out at 2 lol). You get the option to decorate things like phone cases, claw clips, photo frames, and my friend and I ended up choosing the jewelry box. It comes in several colors and depends on what's available but they had white, pink, and purple available. For the cake icing, you also get multiple color so the options are endless. You get so many options for charms and I spent so much time deciding what to get. I think it's helpful coming in with some inspo pics in mind but also have fun with it! You will also get to learn how to do the piping too! My hands got so tired after a while doing it. Overall it was such a fun experience and I love how my jewelry box came out. The shop is located in a plaza with a parking lot. I went on a Sunday and luckily parking was free! You will also get $5 off if you share your pics on IG and follow the shop's account!

Such a fun experience! Went for my birthday with my daughters if you love all things cute and love being creative this is for you! The experience was so amazing so relaxing You pick out of the items they offer from phone cases, jewelry boxes, mirrors, frames etc Then you pick out your charms your colors of "icing" glue and they sit you at a table give you a lesson on how to decorate with the glue and leave you to your creativity so fun and relaxing Hardest part is picking from all the fun charms The lady is super nice and sweet It's a bit expensive but worth the price for the experience.. I will definitely be back

Pros: Went here with a large group so we had to make two separate reservations. You can actually book a larger party but you will get charged more. We just booked two spots with about 30min between them. It worked out fine because they ended up putting our tables next to each other when a table opened up. The staff is super kind and they showed us different techniques for piping. This made me feel at ease since I was afraid I'd be bad at it. The "frosting" is a lot easier to pipe versus real frosting. More decoden stores have been opening but I think Pinku has the best selection of charms because they have charms for multiple IPs. There's a cute shop elsewhere that I considered but they mostly had Sanrio charms. There's a good mix for everyone at Pinku. Cons: In my opinion, the pricing is too high and kind of inconsistent. For example, their instax size picture frames cost about 40 dollars and their phone cases 45. Why does a tiny picture frame cost so much money? I can't remember the cost of the tiny hair clips but I thought it was overpriced too. For my friends who chose small items, they were finished much sooner and had to wait around for us. I mean there really is barely any real estate for tiny hair clips, hair claws and small frames so it really shouldn't be so pricey haha. Also I let my case dry for more days then they recommended but the frosting on the bottom did not stay put and now pops out. I had to get industrial glue to attach it back to the case. I'm not sure why only the bottom lifted but my friends actually experienced the same with their items. It seems like the frosting shrinks somewhat when drying so they had a lot of weird empty spaces on their heart boxes once it dried. Overall though, I'm giving this place 4 stars because even with pricing, I really enjoyed the experience. It's a fun activity and a way to be creative. I also loved the way my case turned out. Pro tip: if you choose a light color frosting like I did, prepare for it to get dirty and be impossible to clean. It's kind of discolored now and the material won't budge no matter what kind of cleaning agent I put on it

I have been eyeing this place for quite awhile now. I've seen posts on Instagram and considered visiting a couple weeks ago, but they have since gotten very busy and require an appointment that you schedule online on their website. Honestly, very happy that these appointments are in place as the studio is quaint and cozy, so it's nice not to be too crowded. There is a private lot where Pinku is located, so be sure to get a validation stamp. Most days are $2 per hour, and I believe most Sunday's and Monday's are free. Once you decide on what you'd like to decorate, you select your colored simulation glues, and big charms. The charms are so cute and high quality. My boyfriend and I decided to decorate a Jewelry Box ($55) and a Phone Case ($45 + $5 for the bear popsocket). Once we chose our glues and charms, we were seated with our items placed, and we were taught how to pipe and make bubbles. I am so glad we were given a tutorial as I had no idea how to go about this neatly. At your decorating station, there are paper towels, wet wipes, plastic spoons for small glitters and rhinestones, toothpicks, and scissors and nail files (to rough up surfaces). Literally everything you need! Also, there was a good selection of glitters and rhinestones to use at each station, and another table with some smaller charms you are able to use. Decorating was so much fun! I honestly can't believe how much fun we had, and how nice our creations turned out! This was such a unique and worthwhile experience. Definitely cannot wait to visit again soon! (Yep, we already made another appointment!)

I saw this little gem on social media and decided it would make a great mother-daughter date activity. It was hard to book an appointment on a weekend and found myself having to wait a few months to book during spring break when my child is out of school. It was worth the wait! This quaint little place is located in an inconspicuous shopping center in little Tokyo. Parking was $6 with validation. **parking is cash only fyi ** we entered and were warmly greeted. We picked our projects and charms as well as frosting colors. The attendant gave us a short piping lesson and we were off to have fun. It was a great experience, albeit pricey. The total was $109 plus parking. My daughter and I enjoyed the experience and will likely return soon.
