This location was amazing but right now they are going through transition. They were moving. There wasn't a lot of supply the last time I went there, but I am hopeful that it will be awesome the next time that I go. Everyone deserves to move their location so I still get five stars. read more

The "new" location is a bit sketchy and not that many items to chose from. A bit disappointed that my (now former) go-to spot no longer has parking to avoid the homeless that line the sidewalk and entrance. Unfortunately I'll have to purchase ribbons online and pray the quality is good to make my crafts. read more

I love coming here to get ribbon. The large selection to look at always has me inside the store for at least an hour! Not only is there ribbon but there's also some balloons, favor containers/bags, glitter and so so much more. Parking here is good since there's a small parking lot, but be sure to come early since it tends to get more crowded during the day on the weekend. read more

Peng's Craft - Inside - Arts & Crafts Near Me - Los Angeles, California

This used to be named United Craft. It is a go to for ribbons. They have ribbon in many different colors and widths. They are very reasonably priced too. But they also have other supplies for events and parties too. Like glitter, lanterns, large styrofoam letters and numbers. They have their own parking lot. But recently, the homelessness encampments have taken over the sidewalk near their entrance. So just beware of that. read more

Peng's craft, formerly United crafts, has always been my go to when downtown for ribbons and other craft supplies. The store has changed in terms of set up over the years but the pricing still makes it all worthwhile. They do have their own lot and street parking but please note that it is near skid row so the street entrance is a bit of sight as there maybe encampments in front or around. Highly recommend if you're doing favors or ribbon leis, even party or craft supplies in general. read more

Lots of great items for decorations on a budget. People and staff are also nice and helpful.

Ok, first things first. This place is located in a sketchy part of LA, so if you're not used to seeing homeless people and lots of tents, then maybe don't come here and go to your local Joann's or Michael's. Now that we have gotten that out of the way, I just want to say that I LOVE this place. I came for ribbon for crafting and they have a huge selection here! They have many sizes and many colors to choose from. The prices are also very good as well! I bought 4 rolls of ribbons, all 100 yards each, and they were about $3 a roll. I don't know where you can find a better deal than that. Also, they have a parking garage next door!!! Win-win. And if you've ever been to downtown LA, you know how hard it is to find parking. read more

Great place to buy ribbon, baby party goodies, wedding invitations, and party stuff. Nice helpful staff. Unfortunately the homeless population is abundant in this area, but there is a private parking lot entrance so it makes it much more comfortable and safe. read more

I love the selection of ribbon as well as the price. Location was great but parking and encampments have taken over.

First of all, I'm a bargain hunter, but even I was a *bit* weary because: 1) photos with the tents at their front door and 2) the the thought of finding parking. Well, my hunt for a good bargain was met rewarded! First of all: THEY HAVE PUT OF FENCING, SO NO MORE TENTS RIGHT BY THE FRONT DOOR. And #2: THEY HAVE A SMALL PARKING LOT! They have rows and rows of ribbon. Thin ribbon, medium ribbon, large width ribbon, they've got it all and in all the colors you would ever want. I'm sooooooooooooooo happy I took a gamble and came out here. read more

It was my first visit to Peng's today and I'm happy to have found this place on YELP. They have a great selection of ribbons that I needed in bulk. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

Peng's Craft - So happy to find bulk ribbon I need at a great price for graduation leis to send to my students. - Arts & Crafts Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I love a good deal and when you can get a spool of 100 yds 3/8" ribbon for $5 I am there! It's not the best location but you can't beat the savings you're going to get! It's like Michaels but bigger, better and cheaper. They have a small private parking area next door. The owner is super nice. Check it out for all your crafty needs. You won't be disappointed! read more

Not bad! The only issue is that it's in downtown LA and this place can get a little crazy on the weekends. LONG LINES!!! read more

Sorority girls would LOVE this store because everything they need to craft for informals, formals, big&lil gifts, and much more are all here! And for cheap too! - beautiful ribbons (dirt cheap compared to Joann's or Michaels) - buttons - decorated/handmade bows The list goes on and on. If only I discovered this while still an undergrad... read more

I absoutley LOVE this place! I will never buy ribbons from any other retailer. The amount of selections are not endless but it's definitely enough to be a little over whelming. If you're looking for a color or style in particular, I can assure you, they'd probably have it. United crafts has great selections with great prices. The only con id have to give it the parking lot. You are very limited on parking. Regardless of all else, if you're looking for any party supplies or ribbons, this is the place! read more

So many things to choose from! Crafters paradise. Ribbons galore and at amazing prices. No fabric though. So much stuff to choose from. As you walk the isles your creative mind I'm sure will start going because you will get soooooooo many ideas!! read more

Ribbons, ribbons, ribbons & more! (aka United Crafts) This business has now moved into its own warehouse. Big bonus: It has its own parking lot !!!!!!! Their prices are the best. This I know because I've shopped all the ribbon outlets in the area & then some. What do my friends & I do with all that ribbon? We make Hawaii-style ribbon leis for graduation & other celebratory events as a fundraiser for a local school organization. Edited to add: We've retired from this activity as of 2011. Edited to add (again)- Not open on Sundays. read more

Excellent store ! One of L.A.'s best places where to buy rhinestones & beads ! And, only there is possible to buy extra-large size bright color sequins to decorate veils for bellydance costumes. Good prices. Perfect ! read more

This is my go-to place for ribbons. they have all colors and lengths for any craft your heart desires and mine has many. I've just about filled up a three drawer bin with ribbons from this place alone. Do yourself a favor, before going to Michaels, Jo-Ann's or Moskatels, stop by here! Your wallet will thank you! Happy Crafting! read more

Agreed with Lynette T's review. I think it's awesome that they have their own parking lot since most places in these area, you really have to pay for parking. This is probably the cheapest and biggest selection on ribbons you'll find from grosgrain to satin. I went to this place all the time when I lived in LA. You'll find jewelry findings, flat back rhinestones, sequins patches, fabric flowers, any and every party favor decoration type thing you can find. The prices are great too, I just wish their online selection was just as cohesive since I live in NY now. :-( read more

Parking lot great prices The staff is ok The store is alot smaller than i thought it'd be. only 3 isles but its a great specialty store. read more

Definitely still a wider variety at Moskatels. I also found that the lady behind the counter wasn't interested in helping me very much. We parked at Moskatels and walked here (a couple of block) and the walk is a little sketch. I felt much safer on Wall Street. More foot traffic and less tents and people sleeping on the sidewalk. In the end, we found everything we needed at Moskatels. Lesson learned. read more

I will never buy ribbon from another retailer. Omg the selection is amazing and so is the price! If you need stuff for babyshowers, parties, etc., they carry such a cute selection of items! But hands down...their ribbons are amazing! read more

Ribbons! So many ribbons, I found exactly what I was looking for! I walked away with 25 yards of 7/8 inch ribbon for $5! Def come here for ribbon. They also have great favors for events such as wedding and baby showers. Great prices and I definitely appreciate that they have their own parking lot. read more

Seriously TONS of satin ribbon options and colors. Nothing crazy fancy but I do love the selection of ribbons to purchase by the yard. They have a huge range of widths as well. Certainly more than Moskatels. I do wish they had some silk & velvet ribbon options or just some other higher end options. $10 credit card minimum. read more

OMG-- I drove all the way there (40 minutes) just to find tent city and skid row right outside the doors. No parking anywhere...just tons of homeless people and the mentally ill camped outside the door. Literally drove around for 30 minutes trying to find a safe place to park. The store looked great from the street, but I would not recommend any female venture there alone. NOT SAFE!!!! read more

This is a wonderful place to buy ribbon and you can find anything and everything you need! Their prices are great too!! I will continue to come here! Any other day I would have probably rated this place 5 stars. The reason I'm not is because lately they've had new staff and today when I went in for a purchase one of the girls had a terrible attitude! I Asked her a question and she seemed so annoyed. I understand customer service can be hard but it's your job. So be patient guys. Just like I'm trying to be. But if this happens again I will definitely stop shopping here read more

Everything you need and want for crafting is here! Staff is very friendly. If you go early you can always find street parking

I love this place!!! Its my go to place for all my ribbon needs. The staff is super helpful and great! I've always left happy! Love the fact they have there own parking lot. read more

Went to buy ribbon for our small business and it was well worth the trip. Cheap prices and I found what we needed. They also have a bunch of other items like a variety of organza bags and little decoration trinkets for baby showers and parties. The woman at the cashier was really nice and helped me with the resale certificate form so we wouldn't have to pay tax. Nice that this place has it's own parking lot, although in a somewhat shady neighborhood. read more

This place is my go-to for ribbon. I make ribbon leis and they offer every color in every size I need! The only ribbon I haven't been able to find here is the 7/8" picot ribbon (which isn't too commonly needed, except for ribbon leis). My only problem is that it closes at 5pm so I either have to go on my lunch break or leave work a little early to get here before it closes. I like that they have their own parking lot or you can park on the street right in front of the shop. You can check out my creations on www.etsy.com/shop/LeidWithLove?ref=l2-shopheader-name read more

Love this place. Same ribbons in the area cost 2-3 times more. They have great color selections and the price is unbeatable. Cashier is super helpful and friendly. I will definitely come back again. read more

I happened to find this store while I was intending to go to International Silk. Apparently, I.S. tends to close at random, with no warning to customers for 2-3 days at a time. Luckily these folks were open and they were very nice and helpful. read more

Two years ago I would've gave this store 5 stars, today barely 2 stars. Been coming here about 10years now. Their grosgrain ribbon selection is large but the quality has declined tremendously. They switched suppliers with the new owners, prices went up a tad but still a good value. There is a lot more staff then before but they aren't as informed about their products as the previous 3 were. They now have a lot more items then just ribbon. They haven't updated their new time schedule on their website either. read more

love the amount of crafting supplies!! everything is super well priced too! i will definitely be coming back to this store :-)
