Best place on earth to get material to make jewelry. The owners husband and wife I have known for a very long time , love them both and always been incredibly helpful and accommodating including prices . Most competitive best deals I highly recommend

A selection of rings, crystals and cabochons for sale at Kings Beads.

Kings Beads is a lovely family owned jewelry supply business at Kings Rd & Beverly Boulevard. The owners are Nona & Greg. You'll find everything here for both the experienced jewelry designer and the beginner or hobbyist. Findings include gemstones, pearls, a wide variety of chains in 14k gold, rose gold and sterling silver, base metals and stone chains, charms, clasps, connectors, bead cord, wire, glue, tools and jewelry props. There is also an extensive selection of finished jewelry such as necklaces, metal and crystal bracelets and fashion rings. If you are in the market for precious stones, there is also a collection to choose from of opals, emeralds, sapphires and diamonds as well as semiprecious stones such as tourmaline, citrine & peridot. The pearl selection is one of the best anywhere in LA and has a variety of colors, shapes and sizes, from tiny seed pearls to extra fancy baroque pearls. The selection of charms in brass, sterling silver and gold plated over silver is perfect for creating trendy charm jewelry. Seed beads, rhinestones, crystals and Swarovski crystals are also available. Everything you can imagine to create jewelry, you can find at Kings Beads. Come in and your creativity will surely be inspired by what you will find in store for fair prices in a competitive market.

They have the best prices on by the foot chain- all gold filled or sterling silver!

Walk in here and you can smell the ambition, acrylic, and caffeine. It's like stepping into a time capsule where brushes still matter, ink still stains, and creativity doesn't come with a subscription fee. The value here and the prices were super reasonable. I came here with my draftsman, a guy who still draws by hand -- a dying breed in a world that runs on Ctrl+Z. Watching him walk these aisles was like watching a monk in a cathedral. Every shelf, every pen, every tube of paint is curated chaos. And the best part? The staff actually care. They know the difference between gouache and watercolor -- and they don't judge you for mispronouncing it. Friendly service, clean restrooms (a small miracle in Los Angeles), and a selection so deep it could inspire Picasso's ghost to start over. From sketchbooks to sculpting tools, markers to mat cutters, they've got everything you need to make something real -- or at least look like you tried. Blick's been around since 1911, and this Beverly Blvd location has kept L.A.'s art scene supplied through every phase -- from punk flyers to NFT hangovers. It's an institution, and it deserves to stay that way. Blick Art Materials is a love letter to real art in a copy-paste world. The service is friendly, the aisles are inspiring, and the supplies are top-notch. If you make anything with your hands, your heart, or even just a stubborn sense of nostalgia -- support this place. Because when shops like this vanish, so does a little bit of the soul of Los Angeles. Support this place -- or someday the only "art supplies" left will be ring lights. Blick is where real artists shop while influencers pretend to paint.

Filming is welcome (a plus for capturing memories!), and parking is free right out front. Just note: the lot is pretty small, so I recommend arriving early to snag a spot. Our instructor was super informative and made sure to spend time with everyone in the class, walking us through every step of the process. It was hands-on and beginner-friendly, which made it all the more enjoyable. The only downside is the wait bc our finished bowls took about 6-8 weeks to be ready after shaping them on the wheel. But honestly, it was worth it--they turned out beautifully :')

I brought two cane cesca style chairs to this place for a repair quote on January 5th. When I arrived, Susan and Fred quoted me approximately $85-90/chair, they also volunteered that they would even polish the legs where the chrome was rusting. The quoted timeline was approx. 2 weeks. Sounds great! Next step they said would be a follow up call in one week with an exact quote once their guy was back in and could look at them. No call. I followed up myself two weeks later, and was told it would be an additional 2 weeks. No quote yet. Ok, no problem, I said. They must be busy. 6 weeks later, still no call. I followed up again on 2/13 and was finally given a quote - $400 - over double the original quoted price. I pointed this out to Susan on the phone and her verbatim response was "I'm sorry numbers are confusing." I swear to god lol. They came down to $300 all-in after seeing I was clearly unhappy with the price gouging, but that is still $100 over their original quote! When I went to pick up the chairs - first, the legs were not polished as Susan and Fred originally promised. Their demeanor, including Everado, was instantly hostile as they snickered at me despite the fact that I was nothing but polite. I wanted to say "What is going on here? How old are you and what makes you think it's ok to treat someone, let alone a customer like this?" I'm the youngest person of the three of them by about 30 years probably and they were acting like poorly behaved children. Maybe they felt they could get away with treating me like this because of my age? A final slap in the face, when I went to pay, I asked if they took credit card, to which they said "yes, but it will charge us a fee." Ok, I said, fine with me. Everado then insisted that I pay via Zelle or cash, despite them admitting to having the capability to take credit card. The message essentially being "yes, we take credit card, but not for you". If there's another place that does this in LA, I'd say go there. The work they do is fine, even good, but save yourself the pain of having to deal with these grown up children.
