I came in briefly while shopping nearby. This is a stationary shop that is arranged beautifully by color. They have pens, pencils, inks, erasers, clips, papers, etc however!! I did not spot yearly planners (though perhaps this is because I came in during the month of June) or stickers beyond their free shop stickers. I did like how they sell individual clips for less than $1 as I tend to not use many so this is more economical for me.

The whole store is laid out by color

I was helped by Fernanda, who was so lovely and went out of her way to find me the perfect lined pad for every day use.

Norton’s Winter Wonderland

I knew about Norton's Winter Wonderland for a few years because of the review that my friend Cris I…read morewrote on Yelp (thanks Cris!). Even if I live pretty close by, I never got around to check out the beautiful Wonderland that the Norton family creates every year in front of their house in Burbank! I guess we were too spoiled with many Christmas activities! This year I promised myself that we'd go and check it out and lift our spirits! Maybe it worked out for the best since Christmas festivities were rare this year! I stopped by last night, glad I did. Who knew that'd be the last night since they started to pack it up due to the upcoming rain! Easy street parking, not many people when we showed up. We did come just after sunset. The holiday lights can be seen from further away. The place is so joyful and fun: a carousel, a cute train, a wheel that spins around! Music, so many details, very cool and this display puts you the holiday mood right away! Free, donate if you can. It goes till 9 pm. There are other cute decorated houses around if you want to take a nice walk around. Wear your mask and be patient, stay away from people, bring a camera. You need to take some photos here, share them, bring joy to others! I'm glad they decided to keep the tradition especially this year! We so needed a slice of Wonderland and joy for this holiday season! Thank You!

The yard may be small but it's packed of a lot of amazing Christmas decorations admired by not just kids but parents alike. There's a train complete with steam coming off and its front wheels turning. A revolving Ferris wheel, a rotating carousel, moving seesaws, and many other animated objects. And don't forget the wonderful light displays! I took some pictures and videos to share but you can check their website for more: http://www.dicknorton.com/xmas/xmashome.html http://nortonswinterwonderland.com/ http://californiachristmaslights.com/Properties/Detail.asp?i=1090 The place is very popular and so it's expectedly busy all the time. Lots of street parking available but please be courteous of the neighbors. Please drive carefully and pay attention to people walking by and crossing the streets.

5 Stars - Our Go-To Christmas Tree Spot for 5 Years Running!…read more We've been happily picking out our real Christmas tree here for five years in a row, and every single visit has been a joy. The trees are always fresh, full, and beautiful--exactly what you want to make the holidays feel special. What truly sets this place apart is their incredible customer service. The staff is so kind, patient, and genuinely helpful every time we go. Last year, after we got our tree home, the stand became loose during the drive and the tree wouldn't stand straight. I called them in a bit of a panic, and they sent someone out the same day with a new stand! They fixed everything on the spot and only charged a very reasonable price for the whole ordeal. It was such a huge relief and made us feel truly taken care of. We also arrange for tree removal through them every year, and they've always been professional, efficient, and courteous from start to finish. If you're looking for a place that sells beautiful trees and backs it up with outstanding service, this is it. Highly recommend-- we'll definitely be back for many more holidays to come!

Over the past six years, I've only had one bad experience when I visited their Woodland Hills location, and they closed an hour earlier than the advertised time. It was frustrating, but aside from that, their trees have always been a tradition in our home. Today, however, marks the second time I've been disappointed, and I honestly feel deceived. I ordered a 7-foot tree, but the one I received (see picture) barely measures 6 feet if at that thanks to the long stem. I'm 5'4", and I swear, if I were just 3 inches taller, I'd match the height of the tree, not including that extra stem. This is really disappointing. I've never considered shopping for trees anywhere else before, but now I'm starting to think I may have to. The staff is usually friendly, but there are times when they seem completely absent. Today, they were hanging out in the parking lot chatting, so no one helped me pick out a tree. Eventually, the cashier had to pick the tree for me since she couldn't find anyone else. This may explain why the tree was smaller than expected, as I don't think the cashier was supposed to be picking trees, but just ringing up purchases. That said, it adds some context to the situation. Another thing I've noticed is that some of the workers expect tips. I always tip, but there's one particular guy who sets up the tree and then stands there verbally demanding a tip. Making a statement about how he did the work, so he should be tipped. This happened a couple of years ago, and he's still around, I saw him today. Interesting. At this point, I'm not sure how I feel about this place anymore. I might have to start looking elsewhere.
