Picked up my SSD passport and received my first stamp, Bright and spacious shop with all your stationary needs. Great selection of writing/coloring utensils. I'm obsessed with pens so I had to pick one up. A plus on service, always greeted with smiling faces. Everyone was showing a little extra excitement for the SSD activities. I've been here a couple times and will keep coming back.

The problem is that the envelope is transparent and you can read the card through the envelope. Simple trick I was advised from the shop would be to buy a darker envelope or a folded card, but why even sell something that is clearly flawed or just cheap. I wasn't able to return it because I had already written on one card, but I'm not really able to use any of these in a serious manner. The whole point of a handwritten thank you card is that you're going the extra mile of respect, consideration and effort. And the point of an envelope is like any other gift wrapping; it's decorative, it's part of the presentation and at the very least should offer privacy. I found it all a bit bizarre, even surprised at my own passion for high quality envelopes (or rather at the absence of standard quality envelopes). They have such good taste in everything else and I want to support a local business. Main point, I hope they improve the quality of their envelopes so they're not see through.

The shop itself it's huge, but the selection is vast, and they make really good use of the space. Plus, it seems like they just celebrated their one-year anniversary - congrats to them! Besides the usual stationery store findings (notebooks, stickers, pens, stamps), there are quite a few things that make this shop unique. First, they have a lot of shop-specific swag. I came away with a Mt. Fo'rest sticker and pin, but they also had a cool tumbler that I was eyeing. Second, they have a pretty robust stamping station. Like, really robust. My son spent almost the entire visit stamping. They also gave him a free sticker sheet! They provide some paper, and I grabbed their business card and stamped the date on the back as well. They also have store stamps there, and plenty of them! And they have this stamp that you press down 3 times and each time it lays down a different layer of a design. It's really cool. They also have a pretty nice testing table with pens, paper, and the little tabletop rolly vacuum thing. Somewhat randomly, they also sell teas and matcha, including some mystery bags. Service is also really friendly. We spent so much time here and came out with some great swag.

I really love what this business is doing and the niche it's tapped into. I also really appreciated the artist feature, and even bought some of their postcards since I love collecting art (affordably). It's such a nice tangible way to discover creative talent away from the digital space. This charming store is filled with lots of cute stationery items, pens, paper, craft supplies, notebooks, candles, & more. Owner Friedia believes that stationery is the basis for all things creative and is a tactile tool that allows an individual to experience a moment in time, which is why browsing through this shop is so much fun. The atmosphere is welcoming and the lady at the register was very friendly.
