The atmosphere you have created is truly something special, and the entertainment by Jimboro and friends added such a  joyful touch to the afternoon. It is clear that a lot of care, passion, and pride go into what you do, and it really shows. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and look forward to returning again soon. Wishing you continued success--you are doing an amazing job! Warm regards, Lissette

We had crab cakes, bean soup, sweet tea, fried whiting (they gave 8 pieces), jerk chicken, collard greens, cabbage, Mac n Cheese. Everything was good. There were like five other customers placing orders. However from time of placing order and receiving food was not even a good 10 minutes. Staff was quick and friendly. I had the surf and turf box. 3 pieces of fried fish, 3 chicken tenders, 3 jumbo shrimp with fries. That was $20. I also had a slice of pineapple upside down cake. The fish was very nice sized portions. The chicken tenders where a little skimpy. The looked like when your mother say we have chicken tenders at home. BUT to make up for the skimpiness they tasted like your mother made them at home. The shrimp were a nice size. The cake take like a well made box cake. By no means am I complaining. I enjoyed the food. The box I got was big and shareable. It easily feeds 2 people. The food was hot and made in clean oil. I certainly will be going back. But next time I simply want the school street sandwich. I would say if you will not be eating immediately in your car or live extremely close by you need to open your bag and crack open the box if not you risk your food being soggy.

A few people came in and out while we dined and everyone seemed to be friends. It was really cute. The restaurant was clean, our server (mature woman with an Irish accent) was so so sweet and upbeat. My partner ordered coffee and at first she told us the machine wasn't working, but a little while later she sent one of the workers across the street to fetch some. I got the fish and chips and my partner got the 3 egg omelette, where you also get to pick 3 fillings. The food was prepared fresh and came out nice and hot. The prices were great too, I think we both ate for around $40. I wanted to take advantage of the $6 brunch mimosas, but they had a sign up saying that they only accept New York IDs. Odd, but ok!

2/16 FIRST VISIT: My boyfriend and I came to Heritage Bar on…read moreFebruary 16 around 2:45 PM. It was pretty quiet since it was early on a Monday. I was deciding between the turkey salad and the Chicken Salad Ciabatta from the lunch specials and asked our server how the chicken salad was, She said it was her favorite and that it was a lot of people's go-to, so I decided to order that. Our food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the Heritage Nachos, Loaded Tater Tot Skillet, Philly Cheesesteak, and the Chicken Salad Ciabatta. The nachos weren't really for me (I didn't love the type of chips used), but the tots were good and my boyfriend liked his cheesesteak. I absolutely loved the chicken salad sandwich and fries. I get a little fixated on foods I like, so I had honestly been craving that sandwich ever since. 3/14 SECOND VISIT: I decided to come back on March 14 specifically hoping to order the chicken salad sandwich again. It was much busier due to St. Patrick's weekend,I was alone, I was seated in a booth in the back. I was given the dinner menu, so I asked the server about the chicken salad sandwich I had previously ordered. She didn't recognize the sandwich but offered to ask the kitchen after I showed her a photo and the menu from my previous visit. Unfortunately she came back and said they couldn't make it. She suggested a grilled chicken sandwich, but I declined since I'm not really a fan of grilled chicken. I ended up ordering the turkey sandwich and asked for a few modifications (no stuffing or cranberry mayo, just regular mayo on a ciabatta). When the food came out, I immediately knew it wasn't turkey. I waited until the server came back and asked her to confirm what meat was on the sandwich. She initially told me it was turkey. After taking it apart & having a few bites I knew it wasn't turkey. I winded up eating the fries and asking for the bill. I decided to show her the inside of the sandwich again and asked her to double check with the kitchen, she returned and confirmed it was actually ham, even though the ticket showed that she ordered turkey. She did offer to remake the sandwich, but it would have taken another 10-15 minutes and at that point I was already over it. I ended up just paying, and leaving. I completely understand that menus change and servers can't memorize every item. I just wish the sandwich had been confirmed with the kitchen sooner when I questioned it the first time. Overall, my first visit was great, and that chicken salad sandwich was honestly amazing. I just wish the second visit had gone a little smoother.

To start, we shared the crispy brussel sprouts Charleston style. These were delicious with the tangy sauce and large flakes of parmesan cheese. For my main, I had the brunch wrap. It comes with chips, but I swapped for fries for an additional charge. The wrap was a good size; I had half and saved the rest for leftovers. It was tasty, but not a ton of flavor. The tater tots were nice and crispy and I enjoyed the fresh tomatoes and avocado. They gave me a huge portion of crinkle cut fries, which also would've been great with a little more seasoning, but they were good when dipped in mayo. My husband got the shrimp and grits and appreciated the large portion size as well. I had a lemonade to drink. It was refreshing since it wasn't overly sweet. Service was great. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Just as their tagline goes, this is undoubtedly a great place to get burgers, beer and grub. It's a…read moresomewhat small place with a great array of options, especially for lunch and brunch. Aesthetically, each table feels like a meal at a family dinner table; it's clear that they wanted that vibe to be translated, and it's done quite well. This is also supported by the service being very friendly and helpful in general. To eat, I had the French toast burger with sweet potato fries. Some others with me had various sides like regular fries and tater tots, and the same thing was present on them that tends not to be at most places: they were all perfectly salted/seasoned. It might seem immaterial, but it's a very good signal when something that simple--yet often neglected in favor of just using condiments to mask it--is executed well. If you're a burger place with fries that taste great without the need for a sauce or condiment, you're doing something right. The French toast burger was likewise fantastic, combining sweet and savory in a great way. To drink, we all got a communal pitcher of the only frozie they had available at the time: a kind of jungle juice vodka slushie. It, too, was great--worthy of multiple rounds. All in all, here's a place that I can't wait to give another visit.

My father thought the burger and fries were good. I did enjoyed the fries a lot. However, the fish and chips is the greasiest, wet fried fish I ever saw. Really unappealing look. I tried to eat the fish which was very soft but dripping wet. Complained about it snd got it taken off. I would try a different dish and strongly urge you to pass the fish and chips.
