Very expansive, and the staff is very rude. Food was ok but nothing special. Definitely not worth the price....

There were numerous cold salads placed throughout the u-shaped table. My favorite was the avocado and shrimp. They were good at when to repeat. This was followed by a fish course, which included whole fish, a cheesy fish casserole-type dish, many cold fishes. he whole fish was my favorite and so fresh. But everything was good. This followed by a meat/poultry course. There were different meats including lamb. They also had duck. This was followed by assorted desserts (French macaroons, mini eclairs, lemon meringue tarts, etc.), blinis, and birthday cake. All was delicious and I ate too many! Service was attentive and the water jugs were constantly replenished. My only two minor complaints- (1) dishes came with a regular fork to serve. It would have been better to have oversized forks and large spoons for serving some of the dishes (ex, filleting the whole fish was a challenge withy a regular fork even though it was ore-cut) and (2) they did not change out the silverware during the meal. It would have been good to have a clean fork when changing from fish to meat, etc. One of the guests wanted 2 orders of potato latkes to go and offered to pay cash separately. The quickly and pleasantly accommodated her. I would highly recommend this place.

Hello comrade. This restaurant is where you will find some delicious Russian food. My order was…read morepart of a large group order of about 10 orders. The restaurant had our orders ready when we got there and they were 100% accurate and well organized. My interaction with them was very limited, but the staff was nice enough. There is metered street parking available for those wishing to park here, but that parking is somewhat difficult to get. We ended up parking in a loading zone area, running in and getting our food. They serve items such as Russian soups and salads, desserts, shashlyk, vareniki, goluptsi, plov, beef stroganoff, chicken kiev, pelmeni, and dolma. They also have beer, wine, infused vodka shots and mixed drinks to wash your food down. I ordered Manti and a slice of Russian Honey Cake. My food was really good. The cake was delicious as well. My major complaint, as well as everyone else in my group, was that the portion size was very small, especially considering the price. Most of us were still hungry after eating our meal. But again, the food was tasty. This is a great place to get you Russian food fix. The food is good, I just wish that there was more of it.

Everything was amazing. One of my best friends is Ukrainian and I am used to their homecooked foods and this place offered some really close such dishes. The radish vodka shots were bomb. A bit spicy and nice after taste. Chicken Kiev was soft and buttery. Lamb Shashlyk was a bit chewy but flavorful. Sunday parking is free on Arlington streets in this area and we found a spot on a street right next to the restaurant. W

Today was my second time having Russian food in my life. First time was at some restaurant in DC a…read moredecade ago. I've been seeing some Eastern European mukbangs on Instagram and thought the food looked good. I'm all for new cultural experiences. So I found this place on Yelp and thought I'd give Russian food another try. I knew Russian food is simple and clean, and I knew the backstory to the Borsch dish. That's all I really knew lol... when I tell you the flavors shocked me! It was so delicious and flavorful. And yes, the meat tasted high quality and clean as expected. I ordered to-go (Manti and Borsch), and my food was smelling so good in the car. I was nervous about the Borsch. I like beets but not that much. So when I took a sip of the soup, it was tangy and very delicious. I'm so glad I got it and didn't chicken out. It tasted like a good beef soup with a slight beet and tangy taste. Perfect and filling! I will definitely be getting it again. The Manti was also very delicious. At first it didn't seem like a lot, but it's packed with meat. I was stuffed for 4 hours straight. I believe it had parsley, dill, onion, and fennel, but I am unsure of what herbs are native in Eastern Europe and Russia. They also have a mini market full of Russian foods and snacks. I think I saw pickled herring in the fridge which I will go back to buy. I see people eating it online and I want to try it myself. I will definitely be coming back here and may bring my friends. The prices are high, but the meat quality and taste are worth it for me. I may go again tomorrow lol. The space also looked very nice and was clean. Give this place a try! You won't regret it! See you soon, Rus Uz! I think I'm an addict now lol.

It goes beautifully with a pot of their black tea! We also enjoyed pelmeni, of course, and manti. In the back of the restaurant is a small grocery shop area, which is very convenient as it has a lot of Russian staples, like buckwheat (gretchka), frozen pelmeni, wines and beer selection. Do recommend!

He…read morehad no idea what blintzes were but couldn't stop talking about them after his accidental visit at Bel-feast. My husband and I had been eyeing this truck since. Unfortunately it never came back in our area. We stalked and studied its location pattern for months. Finally this past Wednesday, it came back! My husband and I each ordered the two blintzes (one meat and one chicken) with borsch special $11 - we thought about sharing but let's be honest, no. The owner was extremely friendly and even threw in a complimentary kale salad for us in celebration of their 1 yr anniversary! I loved their crepe skin! it's a bit fluffier, thicker, and sweeter than French or Japanese version. In fact, a little closer to American pancake consistency. Meat version - overstuffed with delicious mixture of rice, ground meat, and veggie bits. Reminded me of the stuffed cabbage center in Eastern European cuisine! The spicy marinara sauce paired so well. Wished I ordered two of these! Chicken version - similar to (canned) chicken salad. It lacked the cheesiness and creaminess it advertised. The mushroom sauce did help but it was too runny. Flavor was fine but meat version was just 10x better. Borsch and kale salad - both were refreshing, tasty side options. Choose depending on your mood for the perfect pairing. Overall - meat blintzes all day every day (I do have a troubling obsession with everything crepes). Hope the truck makes another round back in my area soon.
