They have $13 lunch menu everyday until 3pm and it's a great deal! I ordered the Al pastor fish tacos and I was delish but the poke bowl that my dad ordered was the star for me. Overall, it's a pretty good spot with reasonable prices. We got the mimosa flight -- totally worth it and really tasty. My favorite was the passion fruit one. We ordered two burgers: the Bacon Jalapeño Jam (not spicy, which I liked) and the Fresno Fig. One was well done, the other medium rare, and both were cooked correctly. The meat tasted great, and the fries were crispy outside and soft inside -- super fresh and delicious. The restrooms were clean, the atmosphere was cool, and the seats were comfortable. The only downsides: the water tasted bad, and the forks we got were dirty with food still on them. We didn't use them and just ate the burgers with our hands. My family was visiting from my home country, and we wanted something quick and good to eat. Since this restaurant is so popular and right on Paseo, I assumed it would be a safe choice. The moment we walked in, there was a strong smell like the place had been mopped with an old dirty mop and no soap. We tried to ignore it and give it a chance. As we walked to the booth, I noticed the floors were filthy. I jokingly told the employee, "You guys need to mop or at least sweep" He replied, "I don't clean here"implying it wasn't his job. When we got to our table, there was a visible water ring from a previous customer's glass that hadn't even been wiped off. Then I asked for a high chair for my toddler. What he brought was absolutely filthy. At that point I actually laughed because I couldn't believe someone would bring it out without taking a few seconds to clean it first. I asked if they could please wipe it down. He seemed annoyed and asked another waitress to do it. She used an old, dry, smelly towel and barely cleaned it. The seat still had dried food stuck to it. I pointed it out and asked if she could use some water to actually clean it, but she ignored me, walked away, and considered it done. When she returned to take our order, I told her we were leaving. I explained why, and she went to tell the manager. He looked over at us as if nothing had happened and never came to speak with us or apologize. Gross. Gross. Gross. If the part customers can see is that dirty and smells bad, I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. I know keeping a restaurant spotless isn't always easy, but basic cleanliness should be the bare minimum. Customers deserve clean tables, clean high chairs, clean floors, and staff who take pride in their workplace. My daughter was at wedding rehearsal for her friend so I ducked in here for lunch. I had a Caesar side salad and they agreed to add the seared salmon. The desserts looked heavenly but too heavy. I came in on a Wednesday night and I saw they had a burger special so I was pretty excited half off burger sounded amazing. The burger itself was cooked perfectly but way over seasoned it overpowered everything else but the big disappointment was the fries. They served me cold old, nasty fries And no one ever came and asked me how things are. I also got a Coke and I'm not sure if they don't do refills but no one asked if I wanted one. This review is for their late night happy hour. IT''S GREAT! It was a good amount of food for the price and it wasn't too busy on a Monday night. The happy hour bites we ordered were the nachos, mac n cheese bites, fried pickles, and a couple of $10 cocktails. We came from a bar previously that charged $40 for two cocktails and the $10 cocktails from here were soooo much better! Nachos were pretty good, would probably be better if we added a meat. Mac n cheese balls were nice and crispy with great flavor. Loved the fried pickles and the sauce that came with it. We want to like Eureka, we really do. The first time we went, we'd heard they had one of the best burgers in Santa Barbara. We went and were generally happy. Even then, the service was mediocre, not horrible but mediocre. The second time I got a chicken sandwich and it was inedible. It tasted like it was baked in tar. They made it right, offered to make something else refunded our money and gave us a couple of gift cards. We tried a third time. When we walked in the hostess greeted us and we asked for a booth and were told we couldn't have one because we were only two people. That didn't make me happy. The food was again not good and when asked for an additional little cup of mayo we were told that what was provided was enough. I had to get firm to get more mayo. We got no salt and pepper and were uncomfortable enough that we didn't ask for any. We tried, the service is bad, the food is just ok, so why would we go back? This time, I had the Ahi salad and my partner had the chicken sandwich with truffle fries. Both were around $20. Truffle fries = normal fries with truffled cheese sauce on top. We went during happy hour and thought they had a lot of good happy hour deals. We got a burger and fries for $12, nachos for $7 or $8 (I forget) and 2 happy hour margaritas for $8.50. All of it was very good and if we lived nearby, we would definitely go again. They did mess up on our check by not giving us the happy hour prices for our margaritas so be on the lookout when getting your bill but they immediately corrected it when we pointed it out. When we walked it in was obviously slow so I expected the service to feel rushed but I was so wrong. We went straight for the bar seats and Marlena was super helpful and sweet. Stopped by Eureka! for a late night burger. I went with the Fresno Fig and it was perfectly cooked and the jam was an amazing compliment to the burger. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. The staff was awesome. They made sure we got our drinks right away and they checked on us to make sure the meal was up to standard. The overall restaurant is wide open and a great spot to meet up with friends and even watch a game. My partner ordered the bison burger which has spicy charred Fresno chile, bacon-infused jalapeño jam, smoked mozzarella and whiskey caramelized onions. He LOVED it to say the very least. I ordered the crispy veggie beet burger which is vegan and WOW! So flavorful and also a large portion. It was definitely what we needed after exploring for 3 hours. We had our pup with us so we sat on the patio on the side walk. I had a nice view of the street and mountains behind and the other way was the beautiful Paseo Nuevo shopping center with all of its decor and fancy tile work going on. This was very pleasant and satisfying visit, and when we are in town again we will definitely be visiting again! read more

Everything was delicious! I had the fish tacos (they came with either fries or a side salad). They have vegan options! My kids had the beet veggie burger and the veggie tacos. My niece had the chicken tenders (from the kids menu) with her salad and also said that was delicious. Outstanding customer service! The server was very friendly and accomodating. My only minor gripe is the portions aren't consistent. The portion of my daughter's side salad was decent, yet my sister's was scant. 1 star. A friend and I both ended up getting our food super late because the server gave my burger to someone else, and then completely forgot my friend's order. We had to wait an extra 30 minutes just to finally get our food, which was frustrating. I understand we were a larger group, so it might've been a little overwhelming, but the service was not good. They kept forgetting basic things we asked for, like water and ranch, and we had to remind them multiple times. What made it worse was the billing. At least three of us were charged an extra $8 each for additional patties that we never knowingly ordered. On top of that, I was charged $4.35 for a "larger patty" that wasn't clearly shown on the menu and definitely not something I asked for. That feels misleading at best. read more

As a regular SB Eureka! patron, I was very disappointed with my last experience at this shop thanks to the manager Alejandro. I went in this past Saturday to finally use up my rewards points (I had about 400 points saved up from all the times I have been coming here). Anyway, all I ordered was some Mac and cheese balls and a glass of rose for my girlfriend and I. Everything was great however, when it came time to pay, the manager Alejandro pulled out his tablet and closely monitored what I was tipping. Thats strike one, you are NEVER supposed to do that at a restaurant. As he watches, I put in a $5 tip to what was a $28 order. (Two glasses of wine + Mac and cheese balls). This man had the audacity to question my tip amount and proceeded to say "there are pre tip buttons that I could have selected, why would you tip lower than the recommended amount". This was truly one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've felt at a restaurant. The store was not busy at all, we had a very basic order, tipped 15% and caused no problems or issues whatsoever The fact that this manager failed to see that I had 400 points from being a loyal and consistent customer and pressed me in front of my girl is way out of line. read more
