We have been visiting local restaurants in Naples for the past 20 yrs and Eurasia has been one of our favorites-- until last evening. I called late for a reservation and was told , understandably, they were full until 7:30pm. We decided to go early anyway (around 6:45) hoping for a cancellation or to wait at the bar. No luck, all tables full and bar seating not available. While we were talking to hostess, the new owner/manager appeared and told us the wait will be about 15 minutes and we were quite early. He left for a few minutes, returned and said it's now it's 1/2 hour wait. My wife questioned about the difference in time? The young man turned to her and said sarcastically: "I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to her (hostess)." He then went on a 2-3 minute 5th grade "tongue lashing" directed at both of us. "I'm trying to run a business, I'm straight out, it's been like this all week, the tables are all full or accounted for, why you are here so early-we told you to come later, why are you are trying to "cut" in line, etc.. My wife immediately left and I stood there listening in amazement to his 2-3 minutes of babbling and ranting. I finally was able to quiet him done and have my say, trying to explain our circumstances, not that it mattered. I then left. He put his head down, tuned me out and continued his verbal abuse as I left. People waiting behind us were stunned, as was the hostess! This behavior from a restaurant owner/manager to a customer is totally unacceptable. If he is that stressed maybe he needs a break or maybe he is in the wrong business. This is family owned business for many years. I doubt the previous owner would have approved of this type of behavior. In any case, if you go there for dinner, beware of the restaurant's owner/manager. He'll be the young man running around the restaurant in casual clothes. Simply stay away from him and don't talk to him. If you do, be careful, you could be his next victim!!! Oh--by the way --food is very good, service fine and prices reasonable. Too bad the new owner doesn't take after the old one! Two star review only because of owner's outrageous negative behavior. Otherwise, it's a 4-5 star restaurant!!! read more

We have been going there for twelve years. Steaks are excellent!! Eggplant is awesome. We've never had an ok meal. Worth the price.

Eurasia is probably the only restaurant I've frequented that I can order literally anything on the menu and I leave happy with my meal. Fabulous food and service. I often get their Shrimp and pork Bun Bowl - light and delicious. You cannot go wrong here. Food was tasty, however it took 1 1/2 hours to arrive at the table. Drink menu did not include any prices. Ordered an espresso martini, which was ok but nothing special. I was a little suspect giving the dual choice of Italian or Vietnamese cuisine. But no longer. I've eaten from both sides of the menu, and will definitely be going back. The Bracciole on the Italian side is outstanding, as were the vegetable rolls on the Vietnamese side. The bartender also makes great drinks. Stopped by on a Saturday at 4:30 pm as my kid wanted some pho and we didn't want to make the trip up to Ft. Meyers. The restaurant was completely empty - not ONE customer in the place. After reviewing their reservations sheet for 5 minutes, the hostess seated us at the lone table sandwiched between the entrance to the bathrooms and the kitchen service entrance where the servers were all hanging around. When we asked for a different table (as there was NOT ONE customer in the joint), we were curtly told that all of the other tables were reserved. There was ZERO effort made. Apparently you can reserve specific tables at this place?!?!?!?! Yeah, right! We walked out and will never visit. I'd rather drive an hour to Ft. Meyers or give my money to the plethora of other restaurants in Naples that are willing to seat my family at a decent table when the restaurant IS EMPTY! read more

Party of four we all had something different, baked stuffed shrimp were large and plentiful, small salad was just the right size to not spoil the meal. Assorted seafood, fish,shrimp, clams, mussels over pasta was fantastic but pricey at $35.00. Lamb shank was well cooked tender. Stuffed eggplant was properly cooked, tasty if you like eggplant. First time here and found the food well cooked, tasty and pleasing to the eye. Not five stars due to price and sloppy service on a slow night only 1/2 tables seated. Waiter just not paying attention to details, wrong meals to wrong people, missed requests for, limes twice then only brought half the request, When you pay these prices and leave 20% tips you expect top notch service. read more

Food was good. I had the Grouper Francese, my husband had the Vietnamese Trio. It came with a salad but when we asked for a Caesar instead of garden salad they said it was a small up charge. I live in New York, but visit my grandparents in Florida every year and always look forward to coming here. It's unique with delicious food and an amazing staff. The family that owns this restaurant is beyond kind and remembers every face that walks through the door. It feels like home. Their chicken parm is by far my favorite meal here. I don't know how his restaurant is rated so highly. I also don't know how it is designated $$. The food was low-end mediocre and the price point was around $25 per entree. My dining companions had the pho and the lemongrass chicken. I had the puttanesca, which was probably the better of the three. The pho was uninspiring, and lacked flavor. The lemongrass chicken had no lemongrass flavor--the only word to describe it is "bland." The service was not very friendly, and not exceptionally attentive. The greeter didn't seem to want to be bothered, the server seemed put out, and kept saying she would be back with water and only came back with it after the third visit to our table. Also, the lights kept flickering oddly throughout the whole experience... It wasn't the worst restaurant experience I can imagine, but it certainly is the worst in recent memory. My stomach is in knots--just not sure if that is a result of the food or knowing that my suggestion to dine there (based on yelp reviews) subjected myself and my dinner mates to such a disappointing and over-priced experience. read more

We love Eurasia. But hard to get into without reservations. Our fave is the Vietnamese Fried rice! It has shrimp, chicken, tenderloin and Vietnamese sausage. The have great pho and just as good of Italian food. Osso Buco is excellent there. They have a nice rack of lamb. He is a full on Sicilian and the Mrs. is Vietnamese. A perfect marriage for them and their restaurant! They have a nice fall menu limited choices with a bottle of wine for $39 but alas our fave is not on it. read more

This restaurant tries to serve both Vietnamese and Italian cuisine and fails miserably at both. The summer rolls come out with peanut butter. No, not peanuts, peanut butter. There was no hot sauce to be found either. The Italian food ordered had no flavor. I guess they were afraid to be authentic and instead ended up bland, boring and way below average. Not good in a city with so many choices. Service is slow and not very friendly. It took us 45 minutes to get our appetizers (they said everyone ordered at once). The salad came out with the wrong dressing. The prices are high. I can't think of any reason to eat here. read more

A few of us "Yelpers" met for dinner last night on the recommendation of Troy, and this place did not disappoint. The environment inside the establishment made you forget that you were in a strip mall. Authentic and seasoned, you could tell that this place has been doing this for awhile which means they have done something right. The first dinner service was remarkably more populated than I expected. The restaurant was clean, organized with no apparent clutter. The service people were attentive, polite, and did a fantastic job. We all shared appetizers to try some different flavors and choosing just one entree was a difficult task. For dinner I had the chicken vermicelli and my husband upgraded to the lamb chops. Both dinners were generously portioned and delicious. The key to a great stuffed dumpling of any nationality is the filling. I only tasted from the Thai side, but usually when some dishes are done well, the other ones will follow suit. I intend to visit this restaurant for the Vietnamese food because it was authentic. If you're eating with somebody who is shy of trying new cuisines, I predict that would be happy with the food cooked by the Italian side of the family. This is not exactly a Fusion restaurant, but a restaurant that serves two distinct cuisines and does it well, reflecting the marriage of a Vietnamese American woman to a Italian American man. According to her two sons, their mother rules the kitchn. I sampled the Vietnamese appetizers, shrimp summer rolls, pork summer rolls and fried springs rolls. The pork filling in the summer rolls was A+++, and the vegetable mixture for both the types of summer rolls had a nice balance. I would suggest adding some carrot or radish shreds to move the mix into sublime. The fried spring roll filling was cabbagy and well seasoning. read more

The place was pretty good and a fun setting. The sample sizes were ample and the food definitely tasted great. There was a duo of guitarists in the evening I went in as entertainment and they were definitely fun. The Vietnamese menu is better than the Italian menu, which is too sauced up and a bit goopy. The grilled pork meatball appetizer was quite good, while the veal rollatine was overwhelmed by the sauce. This is a unique restaurant: a combination - not fusion - of Italian and Vietnamese. I took my mother to try the pho. Great. The broth was very aromatic. The round steak in the pho Tai was not sliced as thinly as I am accustomed to, and it was a little tough. We had tiramisu for dessert. It was the most homemade I've ever had. The whipped marscapone was great, but the lady fingers could have used more rum, IMO. Don't let the strip mall location deter you - this is a nice white-tablecloth restaurant with good, unassuming food, away from the overdone downtown of Naples. read more
