So I arrived 2 hrs early to be able to make sure that I could catch my flight but as I was about to finish the TSA check a woman went through my carry on and decided I could not bring my 8oz shea butter which is not a liquid or powder ! So after taking it out of my bag and making me decide to check my bag I had to REDO the TSA line which took me 50 minutes almost causing me to miss my flight! Then come to find out my mom had a similar item in her bag but she had no issues!! Completely ruined my first time getting on a plane due to some security guard's incompetence. read more

I love this little airport. It's a bit out of date, actually probably desperately needs an update, but it's so efficient! Parking is easy, gates are close, baggage arrives quickly... It's great. One knock is that rental car counters aren't well-staffed so you'll often see lines forming around flight times. Overall it's a small price to pay though because everything else is so easy to navigate. Spruce it up and speed up the rental process and you have a fantastic 5-star regional airport. read more

In A Nutshell: -The Eugene Airport is nice to fly into b/c it's both convenient & small. -You'll zip in/out pretty fast. -It's also very clean w/ some nice views of the Oregon countryside. Overall, if you need to access the University of Oregon or southern Oregon, this is a nice gateway airport to do so. read more

My first time flying into Oregon and I landed at Eugene Airport. It is one of the most smallest airports I have ever been in but the most friendliest people!! Everywhere around there are things to look at and these super big duck sculptures that are done by various companies and groups from the area. I enjoyed how clean the place is and also how a staff member took a picture of us before we flew back. This airport is small but it's easy to find your luggage, car rental, and and also the parking lot. TSA went by super fast because there really wasn't anyone at the airport. After visiting Eugene I really feel like I would be able to live here and enjoy it. I can see why people move up to Oregon now and the airport got my loving it! After jetting around to various global hubs I can say I love small town airports. Eugene is not a stylish as Palm Springs or Long Beach (can't compete with palm trees and sunshine) but it has the same easy access, no to low wait times & exceptional staff that make me willing to deal with connections to fly out of here. This is a very cute little airport. I was traveling with my puppy on a United flight. The security checkpoint was efficient and staff members were very nice. There is a small sandwich shop post security where you can order sandwiches, flatbreads, and coffee. read more

This past Thanksgiving I made my way to the Pacific Northwest with the BF in tow to visit my family. With Eugene, Oregon being the final destination; of course we flew into the Eugene Airport. There's so much to love about smaller regional airports like Eugene. ++ Passenger pick-up and drop-off are close to the terminal building with no restrictions on waiting for your passengers. ++ Security lines are SUPER short and crazy quick. Always a plus! ++ Everyone is just ridiculously friendly and helpful. ++ The terminal is smaller - so you aren't running a marathon just to get to your gate. While there may not be a ton of amenities like you would find at a larger airport; there's still plenty! Several shops (Emerald City News and Gifts) and three eateries (Willamette Grill, Willamette Grill Express, and Coast to Cascades Cafe). Given that my immediate family lives in the Pacific Northwest; I foresee many more visits to the Eugene Airport in my future! **Pro Tip: There's some great Ducks themed art throughout the whole airport. Headed to Cabo, early AM flight I figured heck, why not give old EUG a try. The TSA check was a breeze (hence why 2 stars and not 1) first it was the plane didn't have enough fuel then they're understaffed and we're still loading bags. Then they had to wait for the runway to open up. Our plane which was supposed to leave at 9 didn't leave till 10. We among many others missed our connecting flight and guess what!! there's only 1 flight to Cabo per day. Thanks for nothing Eugene Airport, next time I'm not taking my chances and flying out of Portland. read more

This is a rather small airport. Easy to get around, security is a bit quicker than some airports, but like everywhere else, there is always a couple TSA "officers" that really think they are uniformed officers of the law...attitudes need some adjustment. The rental cars are on the property, which is very convenient. There is a nice restaurant and bar, plus a convenient gift store...all before you go through security. After security, for the "B" gates on the lower level...there is nothing for you there. If you are going to the "A" gates...upstairs and down the hallway, you will find a nice refreshment stand, plus a pretty nice gift store. All in all...Eugene is a very good airport. read more

I came through here on my way to Las Vegas last week. One great thing about a smaller airport is no lines or wait times. We dropped mom off and parked the car. I love the decor, with the giant Oregon Ducks to celebrate Oregon and the location. It's so much fun to take pics with the ducks. The TSA here is my least favorite part. They don't have the same technology here as other airports. I have only traveled through here and the Las Vegas airport in recent times, so I don't have much to compare it to. But wearing a padded bra, two shirts and a jacket, and my long hair in a bun earned me a lovely molestation adventure with them. To be fair, they were incredibly professional about the whole thing and showed me exactly where they couldn't see through on a monitor, as well as offering a private room to double check the sketchy areas they couldn't see through. The professionalism displayed was impressive and put me at ease in this. But going through in Las Vegas while wearing almost the exact same clothes, I had no problems. No alarm bells there, which I found interesting. When coming back through from Las Vegas, I needed some help with mom in her wheelchair and the bags. I had an employee who was more than happy to help. She met us at the gate, had the wheelchair we brought with us, and pushed mom to the door with me. She couldn't go outside, which was fine. She took us to the door, and then mom was able to kind of wheel herself outside with a little help from me and I carried the bags. I then had to go find the car. Finding the car was a whole story in itself. My brother is the one who parked the car, not me, and he didn't come back with us. So it was an adventure in itself to go and find the car. I had some help there too. A woman going through and taking inventory of cars tried to help me find the car. If I had known my license plate numbers, it could have been found much faster. However my brain was fried by this point, so I couldn't remember it. But she walked around with me and helped me find it. After this, I went to pay for parking and get out. I had my mother's handicap sign with us, which gave us a discount. However my chief complaint was the price for parking. It was still ridiculously expensive, being almost $50 for just three days. It was like $65 before the handicap discount. It kinda felt like my wallet was raped just by parking here. But for not being able to find the original parking ticket right away and the guy at the gate having to go through far more effort, they were incredibly helpful. Going through here was relatively easy. I'm not a fan of the TSA screening or the price of parking. Past that, the customer service I was given was great while I was here. Both inside the airport as we were exiting the plane, and in the parking lot. I have no real complaints and it was nowhere near a bad experience. Review 83 of 2017. read more

If you fly Delta at this airport, keep in mind they dont open until 930am. Yet United right next to it is open. Customer service shitty with Delta at this airport. Ill switch to United just because Delta refuses to assist its customers at 9am during the week. My fly boards at 1030am. Welcome to the saddest lil airport on the west coast. It has one convenience store and the restaurant options are non existent. I understand being in a smaller market but this airport needs a revamp and some better direct routes. Most people drive form Eugene to Portland to save money on flights. Be aware this is a small airport with tighter than usual security. Though normally food items such as the homemade biscotti in a clear ziplock bag my friend was taking home to Colorado from Oregon are allowed and it says so online, the TSA agent at the security checkout has the final say on whether anything gets through per the official online TSA site. Yeah, they confiscated the biscotti - probably for their break room snacks. Hope they liked it. We'd made it together since she wanted to learn how. She flys A LOT and has never had food like that confiscated - LAX, Denver, or any other airport including international flights. But the TSA agent has the final say, there's no arguing (for sure), but be aware - you're dealing with power mad security agents at a very small airport. read more

It's a small airport so you aren't walking miles and miles to get to your next gate. The A gates are for jets and the B gates are for little planes where you embark from the tarmac. There aren't too many businesses for lots of shopping and there are no lounges so don't plan to arrive *too* early. That said, the TSA line can get long if you don't have PreCheck. If you *do* have precheck, do expect to take your laptop out, but otherwise everything else procedurally is the same. You are also part of the same general security line. For those picking up passengers, there don't appear to be too many cops trying to shoo you off the driveway, so no need to be nervous about that. read more

YALL. I'm from TN and moved here but visited several times before moving here. So needless to say I have been in and out of this airport several times. The only downside is that Southwest doesn't fly into Eugene. But besides that. Have you ever been to an airport where every airport employee is NICE to you??? That's a foreign concept to me..besides at this airport. It shocks me every time. Also, the Eugene Airport is smaller and easy to navigate, and is super chill. It's not loud, huge, full of tons of people being rude, etc etc like every other airport. It's just simply the best. I have never had an issue at this airport. Nice that it is easy to maneuver around the airport easily and can't imagine how you can get lost in this airport. Can't say too good things about certain airlines, but as for the airport it is a good one to fly to and from where they offer flights. As for the security I haven't had any problems and usually breeze thru the lines without a tremendous wait. I definitely try to fly out of here as much as I can since it is very close to where I live and that you don't have to drive to Portland to go to the same places you can from here. read more

The Eugene Airport has the convenience that I never get at the bigger places! It's so easy to access and navigate that I always fly out of EUG over PDX if airfare cost is similar. They recently added new destinations and flights such as Denver and Chicago. The security line can get long at some points but typically moves fast. The only real downside is that it doesn't have very many amenities compared to the larger airports. There's a couple small restaurant and grab and go spaces on each level/gate area but they aren't all that impressive. I'd like to see more food options available as more and more flight destinations are added! read more

Regarding the restaurant inside- we arrived on a Friday evening and had a bit of a wait for our ride. The woman on the outside of security at the restaurant stated they closed at 4 PM and they'd be taking any cocktails or drinks from us at that time. 4 PM on a Friday. The wine I was served was not drinkable and I was S.O.L. Don't recommend coming here and wasting your time or money. Conversely, I've had good service at the bar inside for departing flights. Small airports are def tricky to review, especially if you are use to flying into bigger ones. PROS; -For car rental drop off you literally park in front of the airport, no outside facility with shuttle service. Then you walk inside and drop off keys (or in outside lock box if after hours). -Staff is very friendly! -Food (breakfast and coffee) was really good as it is not a big chain running the joint. CONS; and the reason they don't get 5 stars - RUG!!! I'm petite size and struggle so much strolling my carry on + a bag through endless paths of rugs. I'm not going to lie my bag usually weighs as much as a carry on... but I still hate airport rugs! read more
