However, they require x-rays before cleaning. I have had my teeth clean many many times over the years. Last check up was two years ago but last cleaning was 18 months ago at a different location. No one has ever required that I have X-ray before a cleaning. I have had yearly check-ups before at a different dental facility that asked me to sign a waiver for the service but none that ever mandated that service could not be provided without X-rays, so I just had to leave. Extremely Disappointed -- Avoid This Dentist…read more Dr. Dustin Adamek performed a crown restoration on tooth #19, which led to a crack inside the tooth, infection, and the need for a full implant. I had to have the crown he put in extracted, and now I need an implant. During the numbing injections, he talked to and looked at his assistant instead of focusing on the procedure, and he seemed distracted throughout. He also complained about my previous crown work in front of me to his assistant, which was unprofessional and inappropriate. When complications arose shortly after, Dr. Adamek would not speak to me directly or take any responsibility for a failed crown -- all within three months of the procedure. I've never had a tooth infection in 58 years -- until now. The office staff was kind and professional, but the care I received caused lasting harm. I do not recommend this dentist. I would avoid this place unless you have no other options. There is a general sense of…read moremiscommunication between the staff themselves so every visit is extremely inconsistent in terms of the procedure, billing, and next steps. I have never been to a dental office where the technical staff greeting you doesn't know what procedure you're actually getting and starts communicating something else completely, and this has been multiple times. You constantly need to be your own advocate each visit to make sure they do not take advantage of you. One example is that I was misled in pricing for a procedure after talking to multiple staff and providing insurance information and signing off on it. On the day of the actual procedure another staff member then told me it's 1,000 cheaper than what was expecting. Apparently no one bothered to apply insurance benefits until the morning of. I give them the benefit of the doubt but I honestly feel cannot recommend this place. They are also constantly booked so follow up appointments will always be pushed back due to scheduling. They are blessed to be in the location that they are but they unfortunately do not respectfully serve the community and give customers the care and treatment they deserve. Also bed side manner is simply not there, generally patients asking a question or clarification is a huge inconvenience for the dentist.

Hania Alkudmani, is the dentist they have on staff , she has horrible reviews…read more I cannot recommend this dental practice based on my experience. I underwent a periodontal procedure here that was one of the most traumatic healthcare experiences I have ever had. Throughout the procedure, I was visibly in pain, crying, and experiencing significant anxiety. Despite repeatedly expressing my discomfort, I felt that my pain was not adequately addressed, and the procedure continued. During treatment, I was told I was causing the provider to fall behind schedule because I was struggling to remain still. I was also reprimanded for breathing through my mouth and told I was exposing the dental team to nitrous oxide. Near the end of the procedure, I was warned that if I moved, a "very large needle" could go somewhere it should not, which only increased my fear while I was already distressed. I also sustained an injury to my tongue during the procedure. Following treatment, I experienced ongoing jaw and ear pain and never received a follow-up call from the office to check on my recovery. I brought my concerns to the practice and requested that they review what had occurred. I also disputed the charges with CareCredit, which ultimately reversed the charges after reviewing the documentation I submitted. Despite knowing the details of my experience and despite my ongoing concerns, the practice has continued to support the provider involved and has now referred the disputed balance to a collection agency. Instead of working with me to resolve what I believe were legitimate concerns about my care, I have been left to defend myself while continuing to deal with the physical and emotional effects of this experience. Patients deserve to be treated with compassion, respect, and appropriate pain management--especially during surgical procedures. Based on my experience, I did not receive that level of care.

My old dentist of 4 years, started having issues with my Dental insurance ("Boo" Delta Dental) so we had to find another dentist real quick. Then we remembered that a new dental office was just built about a mile away. We check out the doctors, their educational backgrounds and the client reviews. We were happy with the information we received about Dr. Renken and his dental team. Upon my initial appointment inquiry, I was sent a link to gather extensive information regarding my medical history. I can respect this as your doctor doesn't know anything about you unless you tell them. My Hygienist was very friendly, she gave me a lot of pointers regarding dental maintenance and cleaning tips around my retainer. Dr. Josh Rankin examined me. Very attentive and personal. They asked a lot of questions about me. Which I thought was very important. Like I said, they only know what you tell them. Overall it was a wonderful experience, considering it was a dental office. All of the amenities are there, Tv, headphones and such. They will truly make you feel more comfortable about visiting your dentist. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.
