I followed my wife who preceded me in choosing this dentist, when the enamel portion of my Maryland bridge I got (from another good dentist, in WI) 40 (+) years ago broke off [My initial dentist back then was a pessimist & had said that bridge would last only "5 years!") Anyway, Euclid created a new tooth on that still-solid framework, with some kinda miracle composite, and I've been going ever since, for both check-ups and 2x / year cleanings; I'd kinda dropped regular dental visits for over 10 years, brushing only l; so that first cleaning took some time! Next week have an appt to have a chipped front tooth built up with composite; and my wife recently got a crown from Euclid, also... Very pleased. Friendly doctor, friendly hygienists ... Excellent dental care! I'm having severe teeth problems and Desiree was so gentle during my cleaning but thorough. We talked and laughed the whole time but it never interfered with her care. My teeth have deteriorated severely over the last few months and the whole staff was involved in coming up with a new treatment plan. This is the finest & kindest medical/dental practice I've ever seen and I know I'm in good hands. There have been a few hygenists who have cleaned my teeth through the years and I've liked some better than others! But Dr McLeod has always been very pleasant and I believe he knows what he's doing. I recently went to Dr. McLeod after having gone to one of those franchise places (Aspen Dental) where I got a $40,000 estimate. He looked at the X-rays and explained that it would cost $8,000! He didn't try to "upcharge" me or exaggerate my condition. He's been around for 50 years and doesn't need to gouge his patients. His dental office is dated but costs very little to maintain which allows for lower cost dental services. VERY satisfied. read more

We have been to Dr McLeod for many years. We left at one time due to an experience with a hygienist, but returned a couple of years later when other dentists were overcharging us for every service. Dr McLeod has only ever charged us what insurance says. If a cleaning is free, it's free. If a cavity costs 50%, it costs 50%. No up charges ever. I have used Dr McLeod for a few years and I will not go back. I went in for 6 months cleaning and told I need an filling on my front tooth between the tooth and gum. I asked my out of pocket and was told $20so I scheduled. When I arrived for the appointment I asked again and was told $20 so I paid. Later on I received a bill for $117. I called them and was told the insurance denied the claim. They said all they do is make sure the insurance is active and don't know what if anything they will pay. I talked to the insurance company and was told they pay only every 2 years for that tooth and it had been about 1 years 8 months. I would have waited 4 months if I had known. I asked 2Xs and never told that. Very deceptive. read more

For a number of reasons, I will not be returning to Dr. McLeod, and I recommend those who read this avoid him as well. I saw Dr. McLeod in December 2020 for a cleaning, and then a filling the next week. Before discussing the ineptitude of the office, I want to first say that comments made by both the hygienist and Dr. McLeod about my appearance made me incredibly uncomfortable. It is already difficult enough to be in such a vulnerable position as the dentist chair, but young women should not feel the added distress of inappropriate remarks made by their dentist, which is what Dr. McLeod did when I saw him for an appointment. After my appointment finished (December 10th), I paid the front office $46 and left. I had not heard from them again until I was sent a "Final Notice" on March 17th with a bill for $185. The first very apparent issue is that the filling cost a total of $185, but the office messed up the payment and did not subtract the $46 I had already paid. I'm sure some patients would have mistakenly paid the full $185 without questioning the very simple subtraction that should have been done correctly. The next issue is that I had not been led to believe that the filling would cost $185. The office is aware that I do not have dental insurance, as I do not have any dental insurance on file with them, and my 2019 filling bill showed a $0 payment from my insurance--which means I paid for 100% of what they charged for the procedure, or $89 total. I called the office attempting to rectify this issue, and for some reason they called my mom's phone back, despite the fact that I gave them my name and phone number. When I was finally able to get in touch with Sarah, she apologized if I was "confused" (I was actually misled, which is fairly different). At no point was I told I was mischarged the first time, or that I would be paying $185 for a filling--a service I would be willing to pay for at pretty much any other office, and will be in the future. The disorganization and ignorance of Dr. McLeod's office is truly astounding to me. I would add that my parents have also had their own bad experiences with Dr. McLeod's practice; the dentist refused to wear a mask for my mom's appointment, and the office overcharged my dad and would not refund him. I believe that, taken together, these issues constitute some serious concern, and certainly legitimate reasoning for not trusting Dr. McLeod and his office with dental care in the future. read more

Dr. McLeod showed her the tools he'd be using and explained what they would do so she wouldn't be afraid. He let her hold the mirror and see how her tooth looked before and again when it was done.
