They seem to buy used hotel furnishings and accessories at wholesale and then resale them to the public at a fraction of the cost. I did say "used", so there may be some condition issues, but I think those issues add to the character and charm of each piece. Keep in mind, those cool pieces of art, or floor to ceiling mirrors, floating table stands, bed frames and lamps with outlets and internet ports built in, that you see at the nicer hotels, are some of the things that Solo sells. As far as the condition of items, nothing a little elbow grease or those who are artistically gifted, some paint to transform your piece into your own.

We did not have a vehicle that could move the table, but since we lived in the neighborhood right around the corner they were willing to load it into the van and drop it at our apartment when they closed up at the end of the night. Truly awesome and did not make us feel like it was a hassle at all. We will look forward to shopping there again. They seem to run sales on their items regularly and the stock on the floor turns over weekly in sections. They have lots of big items, but also tons of smaller and/or cheaper novelty and fine art items and gifts.

Him letting me know the layout of the store was helpful, but still not really necessary. I just want ti browse and be left alone, I will ask you if I have questions. Anyway, I was very underwhelmed by their couches on display, they are all out dated looking and just ugly. The store is also huge and everything is spread out, it seemed empty or at least lacking personality or decoration, or something . Maybe that's because of covid and lack of supply? Idk, but again everything was super traditional, not my style at all. Overall I was very turned off by the sales approach and would not return. They need to come up with a more modern way of selling furniture because this is not going to work for future generations in my opinion.
