The concept of this place is great, but it still needs some work. The café was so loud, with the music turned up so high, that I couldn't hear what my husband wanted to order. It seemed like the employees enjoyed the loud music and were not very mindful of the guests. I asked for it to be turned down, but it was only lowered slightly. We were also the only table eating in at the time. The açaí bowl was overly sweet and frozen on the bottom. I would prefer no added sugar beyond the honey listed in the description, but it tasted like there was added sugar in the fruit or base. I do not think this place is very healthy as I suspect very high added sugar content. The Mediterranean bread was good, but the garlic artichoke bread was very salty. I also ordered a blue lavender drink and was disappointed. The lavender was too strong and the drink did not taste balanced. Overall, I like the idea of this place, but the food, drinks, and atmosphere need improvement. It was also expensive for what we got -- almost $64 with tip for two orders of bread, two drinks, and one açaí bowl. We likely won't be returning. read more

This place has the best açaí bowls around, they are all made to order and super fresh always! The chipotle avocado toast is also great but their service is terrible. I really love this place for their food and have been going there since they opened and even at farmers markets but the people are unfriendly and not welcoming. Sometimes it can take awhile to get your food which I don't mind when people are working hard and hustling but this is not the case here. I ordered a toast and açaí bowl to eat together and my toast came out almost 20 Minutes after my bowl. I have been in several times and I've loved everything I've ordered so far. The toast is incredible which sounds funny cuz I mean, it's toast. But truly it is delicious. I always get the flight so I can have three different flavors! My absolute favorite is still the Mediterranean! I haven't had the smoothies yet but their bowls are amazing- so filling! (I usually take half home and eat the next day with new fresh fruit added). I'm not a fan of cacao chips so I always ask them to omit which is not an issue. Right next to the baby boutique. Parking is mostly street parking or the tiny parking lot adjacent to the boutique. If you go super early, it's no biggie. You can preorder which I saw a lot of or order and dine in. There is ample seating and the restaurant is clean and inviting. Docked one star off because it was my first time and I hadn't noticed that there was a kids menu. We were already rang up by the time I noticed it and when I inquired about it, one of the ladies working seemed semi annoyed and was less than friendly about it. They ended up giving my daughter a kids bowl despite us paying for an adult bowl. When I had brought it up, they were super quick to fix the issue, which was good. Today was the first time I tried the avocado toast, I'd always wanted to but had always ordered the açaí bowls or smoothies. I ordered the flight which included the Mediterranean, chipotle, and garlic artichoke. All of them were very delicious, I would say my favorite was the chipotle one, if I had to pick. The size portion is decent, I feel that the three pieces filled me up and I had these for breakfast. The service as usual was very friendly, maybe a tad bit slow this time but I can imagine the toast take some effort to make. I will note that the AC was blasting and it was very chilly inside to sit for an extended amount of time. My husband ordered an açaí bowl so was freezing by the time he was done eating. He had the Flower of Life bowl with chocolate chips and loved it. I did notice that the consistency of the açaí bowl was a bit more on the seedy side than usual. For me and my husband, ESB is the best acai bowl place in the area; from Issaquah to Olympia, Orting to Renton, we've tried many juice bars and acai bowls. 10/10 recommend this one. They have gone above and beyond in producing the best acai bowl. My go-to is the Soul Bowl with no chia seeds or banana toppings, and add kiwi. They also have additional menu items worth trying! Check out their website. Eternal Soul Bowl has consistently given us quality ingredients with superior customer service. Their granola compliments the soul of the acai bowl. It has the perfect amount of sweet and crunch. As for the toppings to acai ratios, we've tried places that pack in the acai with little itty-bitty servings of fruit and tiny sprinkles of granola on top. Thankfully, ESB cares about their customers and would never do such things. Also, each fruit down to the smallest blueberry, has always been so flavorful and enticing. Come here and you'll never have to worry about moldy fruit ever again. Me and my husband discovered ESB back when they were prominent in Farmer's Markets. ESB's lovely owner can light up a room with her warm and friendly spirit, she has a fantastic hardworking team! In the market days I remember they'd power through some long lines. Keep in mind ESB is craft food, not fast food. If you're craving some ESB in a time crunch, order online or call in to pick up ahead of time. Otherwise come on in, take a seat in the chairs, hang out and grab a cup of water while the order is prepared! There is a restroom for customers. I was so excited to find out that ESB had a new spot. I had been craving another bowl since the farmer's markets. Today I called curious if I ordered a few extra if I could preserve them. I live in Auburn so it's a little drive for us to get there. They were beyond accommodating with making it so I could freeze the bowls and eat them later. They put all the harder ingredients separate and labeled them for easy putting together!
