I was over at Glo Skincare for my usual lash fill and since I was in the appointment most of the morning and feeling hungry, one of the estheticians I connect with told me of Blendful and their smoothies! I was on my way w afternoon plans & their island sense smoothie was everything! It was made of coconut milk, pineapple, & mango. This place has such a lovely, clean aesthetic with plants and modern tranquility! It is a combo location of both smoothie drinks/bowls and a tattoo parlor. I came for an acai bowl and it didn't disappoint! After a short wait, my bowl was done. I was pleasantly surprised to find more acai packed into the bottom of my bowl, along with extra granola and fruit! So it was not just the toppings seen in the photo and bleakness below. Lovely place to grab an açaí bowl, but they also serve smoothies, juices, and chia pudding parfaits! On my first visit they were out of everything except for their mango and coconut bowls. I went ahead and tried the "Sunshine" mango bowl and asked for no shredded coconut. It was delicious and comes with a lot layered. They forgot the goji berries in my bowl though. The next time I visited I called beforehand to make sure they had açaí in stock and they did. I got to try their "Açaí Love" bowl and it was amazing. They did forget to put the chopped mango in my bowl though. The staff are very friendly and the inside of the store has been very clean each time I go. There is also a game shelf if you want to stay and play games. This is a shared space with a tattoo shop in the back. 4 stars just because of the missing toppings each time I visited - I would just double check before leaving that everything is in your order correctly! read more

I have scoured for good acai bowls in the Tacoma/Lakewood area. Believe me when I say this. I have tried alot of establishments and they were all a bowl of disappointment. If I didn't pay so much for these bowls, they would have all gone straight to the trash midway through my first bite. No more bowls of disappointments! I'm no connossieur but I've eaten enough acai bowls in Hawaii to know what's good and this establishment is IT. For those of you who have only tried eating tasteless, or artificial tasting or tart acai bowls, please give this establishment a try. You will be hooked. I don't know how else to describe the flavor other than it's actually good. The menu options are very limited but I would rather have a company provide limited options and provide quality food. It does take a bit longer to make but it's made to order and I don't mind the wait. Calling in your order would probably be better. Parking is ample. It's a bit hard to find at first but it is located in a tattoo parlor in the H&L shopping area on Lakewood Drive (across Chevron). The only downside is that they close early. What a gem I stumbled upon! Well, technically, I didn't stumble upon it. I happen to be a few doors down getting my nails done and I noticed many people walking from their car to a shop and then back to the car with a fresh açai bowl I thought after my pedicure, I have to go find this place, and a tattoo shop were a few doors down and a clean modern space. The girls welcomed me right away and were ready to take my order. They have a variety of açai bowls as well as Chia pudding cups personally, I prefer the Chia pudding cups. so far we've ordered the açai love bowl twice and would've gotten a third time if they were open Sunday and I got the nutty something chia pudding 10 out of 10 would recommend both of them, they're both so good. I don't know if I have it in me to try something else on the list. Do not skimp on toppings or fillings and you definitely get your money worth. Both times they were out of mango but they had everything else. There is no doubt in my mind I'll be back there again Saturday after my daughter begs me to get her another bowl. I've been craving acai bowls for so long since I've come back from Hawaii and this place is soooo good! The consistency of the acai is perfect and they definitely don't skimp out on the toppings! I think for the amount of toppings and acai you get, it's well worth your money. Many acai bowl places will charge more than this and offer less or charge for toppings. Wow! Second time here and I got to try the Acai bowl and it was amazing! I wish there were more places like this in Washington like there is in California.. However.. the reason I am writing this review is because when I walked in neither of the girls were wearing their masks. As a customer this makes me very uncomfortable due to the fact we are in a PANDEMIC?... when I got to the register the girl taking my order left her mask down... having to be that close to her while shes not wearing a mask and potentially made my food is frustrating. Her other co worker finally put her mask on while they were making my food, but by the time I left it was below the nose again.
