The first time was very good but the second was even better. Our server, Ramis, was excellent. He was very friendly and told us about his summer internship in the US as a foreign student. His story was very interesting and we wish him the best of luck. Besides excellent service, the food was outstanding. The wife had the beef stroganoff and loved it. There was a lot of tender meat and the dish was very flavorful. I had the reuben and it was excellent. One of the best I have had. The fries were crispy and coated with a delicious seasoning. I also had a cup of the soup of the day, beef with vegetables and barley. It was very good and I was inspired to make my own after we returned. I again had the IPA and the wife had the peach lager and both were excellent. We visit Estes every two years or so and this place will definitely be on list the next time we are in Estes.

I had the French dip and my companion had the burger, which is what we were recommended when we came in. For the French dip- The meat was tender and had great flavor. The cheese was perfect and the bread was delicious and surprisingly their fries were actually a star of the show. They're very thick cut and kind of curly but were salted well and had great crunchy outsides and soft sides. My friend had the burger and said it was delicious. We also tried the lemoncello marscipone cake, which was a fantastic hit. Wheelchair accessibility: the main entrance to this restaurant is a large flight of stairs, however to the left of the restaurant around the corner, there is a large ramp that you can get up. There's plenty of room to maneuver between tables. The bathroom door is very light and is accessible in size. The soap is a little bit high and the door lock might also be a little bit high with someone with a limited range of motion. The floors inside are wood and there are threshold transitions between rooms, but they are not very high and are sloped. Parking could be a problem. It is Estes Park so there's not a lot of street parking available. We will definitely back next time we're in Estes Park!

He said they didn't have the ingredients, even though they had another coffee-based cocktail on the menu. It would have been nice if he had suggested a creative alternative using the cold brew or whatever they had available. Not a big deal, just a missed opportunity. They don't appear to serve food themselves, but there was a food truck parked outside when we visited, which was a nice bonus. Overall, we had a great experience. Humble vibes inside, a simple U-shaped bar top with seating all around, a few smaller tables, a community table, and a large patio with mostly picnic table seating. If you're lucky, snag a stool right along the Big Thompson River! Though, I recommend they fix the wooden placeholders for beers, they're leaning on the wrong side of history, we don't want any full glasses of beer reaching an unnecessary demise! Interference IPA * American IPA * 6.7% * 16oz ($7) From their website: "Climbing the Interference Boulder in Rocky Mountain National Park requires strength and power. This Colorado IPA showcases the power of hops with an intense blend forging citrus aromas with a pine forward finish.
