Is there "6 Stars"? The spaghetti with seafood and the sea bass were both so good, we finished every morsel! Kudos to the chef!

The old reviews being the score of this place down. Visited in March 2023 and the food and service were both fantastic. It was our last dinner in Rome and we loved it. Quaint little spot, near many hotels and the staff took care of our requests. Highly recommended.

Modest eatery, emphasis on pizza, but full menu. Pleasant, helpful servers. I had the salami pizza, thin crisp crust, creamy cheese, flavorful meat. Around $10. Same thing near my home in Chicago would be $25 at least! Dine indoors or out. Recommended.

Cold lasagna and i mean real cold - terrible just like it looks

Waited a long time for my lasagna meanwhile my friends got their pasta and ate it all before i finally received my plate. And after all that it was cold with hot pasta sauce poured over it. Absolutely terrible. Can't believe i was served that! My friends said they wouldn't order their pasta again.... do not recommend.

We stopped her because it was close to our hotel and we had a long day. It's a great spot to eat and spend some time! Food and service is worthy! You will like this place! Service is quick, willing to talk and very responsive. They are willing to please

The food here is fantastic. Just happened to wonder in here looking for something to eat and boy are glad we found this place. The carbonara and the seafood pasta were to die for. The service here was great. If it wasn't for the service charge and the tip not included written on the bill I would of given this place 5 stars. I don't need to be told to tip. If there is a service charge that is your tip. I am more inclined to leave more than a service charge. Just don't try to pressure me for it.

I had a good time at this little place with my friends. We sat outside and enjoyed a crisp night under heat lamps. It's one of the few restos we had been able to find some decent beef at. The price was also good, I had steak, potatoes, and grilled veggies for 18 euro! The wine and the dessert was good. I would give this resto a 3 for the food, but I really like the outside seating area - so overall 4.

I wouldn't say "OMG best pizza EVER," but if you want a solid pie in a comfortable environment, definitely check out Est Est Est. It was a nice night, I was traveling solo, and I wanted to sit outdoors. As I looked at the menu, like so often happens in Rome, a guy walked up to ask if I was interested in dining here. Since the prices were pretty stellar, I said yes and sat down at the two-top of my preference. I never felt like I was eating alone, because the host (David) and servers were constantly hovering around me -- chatting away. I appreciated the company, but if you're not into that vibe, you may not like this place. I ordered their house white wine and a four-cheese pizza. I ate as much as I could (it was a good pizza!), but I'm a light eater so for the second half, I mostly just snagged the cheese off of it. This amused the servers. When it came time to pay, I asked if they could break a 50 euro. ATMs love to give 50 euro bills! When the server (owner?) came back, he pretended to only give me a portion of my change to see my reaction. Ha! I loved the friendly atmosphere here, and it was nice that it was so close to my hotel to boot. They gave me their business card on the way out and said to come again. I wish I had!

Since I can't travel to Italy right now, let me review this cool restaurant from my trip in November 2019. I ate here my last night in Rome and it was a great final meal in the Eternal City. The main dining floor is below street level and incredibly cozy. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The well portioned lasagna was delicious with a perfect meat, pasta and cheese ratio and a bit smoky. The tiramisu was quality chocolate and big. The post feast cappuccino was perfect too. Good price for a awesome foreign vacation dining experience. Left very satisfied and hope to be back. Thanks for the meal.

This was an easy restaurant right across the street from our hotel right after getting off the plane from Paris. The place was empty as we got in right when they were opening. My husband and I were on our last leg of our honeymoon in Rome visiting from Hawaii. We shared a half bottle of the house red which was delicious. For starters we shared the Caprese and the Prosciutto with Melon, unbelievable. For main courses I had the Cacio e Pepe and my husband had a Pizza with prosciutto, egg and artichoke hearts. Both were delicious! Over on the next table almost the whole party ordered the lasagna which looked AMAZING! I wish I tried that but I guess we'll have to go back :) This is a cheap in and out kinda place, good service good food good for a quick meal!

Our hotel was directly across the street. We went twice for a quick lunch. Pizza was very good. Thin crust and cheesy. Prices were great. No complaints. If there are 4 of you, make sure to get two pies. We had the plain and Quattro formagio. Pizza served very quick. All the waiters standing outside are friendly and try to pull you in. It's worth a quick lunch. We didn't have dinner but the portions coming out looked big.

    Lisa W.

A-OK in my book! We ended up visiting this place twice for lunch, mainly because our hotel was across the street. Pizza here is standard for the U.S. but oddly enough better than most places we tried in town. Service was great and we took full advantage of their outdoor seating. Prices and portions are just right. Both times, we ended up doing a little day drinking with our fellow table mates, swapping travel stories and enjoying the beautiful May weather. Not a place I would go out of my way for but if you were in the area, I would recommend them for lunch.

Our hotel manager had suggested another restaurant, but I was apprehensive to try, but did later, more on that restaurant review in it's own post. I rather did what I should have done throughout the trip to, which is to search google for local reviews. This tactic I found to be much better than to trust American reviews for restaurants to visit from Youtube or even here, just because the American touristy taste tends to favor bland or Olive Garden style pseudo Italian. The real Italian taste is much different and something one needs to develop. I was familiar with European Italian food, as I had said before in other reviews that Mexico has better Italian food outside of Italy. Additionally, the good restaurants here in Italy do not open before 7 PM. If it does or if someone that looks foreign to Italy is outside trying to lure you in, it's a tourist restaurant with iffy flavor. At this restaurant my husband had the Lobster pasta and I had the spinach/ricotta ravioli, and we both were beyond satisfied. We also had the artichoke as an appetizer, and trusted the waiter with his suggestion for a bottle of wine. He must have been some genius because the wine went well with our meal. The ambience was cozy and very family oriented, however, the rain outside made it romantic for us. Another key point for this restaurant and it traditional flare was that they brought out the olive oil and red vinegar for our salad and of course olive oil for our wonderful home-made bread. I'm so glad we chose this place for those of us Americans who understand culinary cuisine.

Seafood risotto was fresh. Grilled radicchio was like stir fried. Dinner for 3 for 77 euros, impressively busy for a Tuesday night. Friendly staff, easy for English speakers. :)

Super pizza place with a lot of other great stuff on the menu…read more I looked with envy at the other tables who were enjoying spectacular plates of spaghetti with mussels. * * * That said, my pizza was a grand slam home run. Many of their pizzas are quite elaborate With all sorts of exotic ingredients. I went super simple. Gorgonzola. Mozzarella. That's it. Just enough Mozzarella to cut the Gorgonzola and make for a good melt. * * * If you have never had a gorgonzola pizza, you have never lived. Just sayin'. * * * P.S. My lovely wife got a Norwegian salmon pizza. The Norwegian salmon was stacked up high on her pizza As if she was in the World Series of Poker and she was a big winner. I have never seen so much salmon on one plate. After our meal, I made a discreet phone call to the Norwegian embassy in Rome asking them if they still had any salmon left. The woman at the embassy assured me the Norwegian salmon supply was fine. That surprises me given all the salmon that was on my wife's pizza.

However, they had apparently started having dining "outside" which consisted of a few tables-for-two on the sidewalk. My brilliant wife came of with the idea of asking if we could just take two of those tables next to each other so she dined with one daughter and I the other. We probably looked a little funny as we got up to share plates between the table but hey, we were seated in 5 minutes. Car traffic wasn't too bad so that wasn't a distraction though it was amusing seeing delivery bikes coming and going sometimes even returning constantly to the restaurant. Clearly a very popular place. I have to hand it to our waiter, he did a fantastic job serving not just the outside but his inside assignments as well. Guy got his steps in for sure and yet he smiled and was kind through the evening. Not a sign of stress at all. Love that. Food-YUMMY! Since we were on separate tables I didn't my normal "Wait let me take a picture first!" moments lol. We got the Fried Mix to start off with which. I personally ordered a pasta carbonara and the daughter I was sitting with got a margherita pizza. My wife ordered the chicken which was thinly cut breaded chicken slices. I ordered a red (Montepulciano d'Abruzzo) to go along with my meal. Don't have all the foodie pictures because of our split tables but trust me it was all fantastic.
