Overall, 3 stars. I had old microblading removed and, a month later, I'm very pleased with the results. Luckily, I only needed one session, so I'd give the results 4 stars. Customer service was closer to 2 stars. I wasn't greeted by reception or by Carthy, who did my treatment. It wasn't until I was already in the chair that she realized I was a new client, which made me feel more like another number than a new client. I also wasn't prepared for how painful the procedure would be. No numbing cream was offered, and I wasn't expecting the swelling and blistering afterward. Better communication about what to expect would have made a big difference. I'm happy with the results, but med spas are a dime a dozen. Good results matter, but so does making clients feel welcomed, informed, and cared for. You can probably find better service elsewhere. read more

Went to Lynsey for Botox around my mouth to help with some lines, and I'm really happy I did. She sat down and explained everything before we started, answered all my questions, no rushing, and you could just tell she knew exactly what she was doing. The results turned out great -- my mouth area looks so much smoother, and honestly a surprise bonus, my jaw feels way more relaxed too. Didn't expect that but it's been a nice change. I discovered nano brows by Carthy C and made a consultation appointment in March 2025. My first session was to remove my current brows (I had previously micro-bladed brows and wanted a more natural look ) and was done at the consultation appointment. My tech did a very good job. I returned for a second session and was pleased. The technician said they looked great , but she couldn't be certain I wouldn't need a third treatment to remove "yellow" completely. I returned 6 weeks later because it was the first appointment Esse had available. Carthy was my tech on this third visit and stated I needed a third removal treatment, which she did. I am now $750.00 in charges. Six weeks later there was no discernible change. I never did see any yellow tones. Carthy told me I could have brows applied 6 weeks after my 3rd removal appointment. After 12 weeks I was finally able to book a nano brow appointment & was told it was 6 more weeks to do so. We are now over 4 months into the processI I was hoping to replace my brows with a more natural looking result before the Winter. Carthy quoted $1200.00 for full nano brow service, and said I could come back afterwards if I needed a complimentary touch up if done in a reasonable amount of time. As usual, she was difficult to make an appointment with and supposedly booked out. On Sept 6. She finally did my brows, I needed a touch up and again couldn't get an appointment until Dec 12. When I arrived on that date I learned there would be an additional $250.00 charge for touch up. I felt taken advantage of. after paying an inflated amount for the "best". In addition, They charge $100.00 before they will confirm an appointment, which you learn for the first time when making an appointment. I elected to forego any further services , asked and received a refund for the appointment, and decided to pursue my brow needs elsewhere. After doing a bit of research, I learned the average cost for nano brow application is $600-$900 and at least one free touch up is included. And there are many professionals who perform the service as well as Carthy C. , and are easy to book appointments with. I strongly recommend anyone looking to have nano brows application check several other salons before getting soaked by Carthy C. WOW!! I went to Carthy at ESSE Med Spa to get my previous brows lasered off so we can have a fresh start. I was worried that after all the years of having ombré brows and microblading done by previous artists, the pigment would be too dark and would need many sessions. TAWNEY IS THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS FOR TATTOO REMOVAL!!! I started my removals somewhere else before I found Tawney and experienced severe blistering, scarring and hypopigmentation. I had to take at least a year off to continue treatments and in that time I found Tawney! She has quite literally saved my skin, although hypopigmentation is nearly impossible to get rid of, Tawney has done CO2 treatments on my removal site and has blended it so well to where it's barely noticeable. I have never experienced blistering, excessive burns or any intense scabbing from any of her removals and it's made this process soooo much more bearable and successful! I'm removing a half sleeve that also covered my entire hand... so it's quite a hefty task to remove my piece. In an industry that is over saturated with "experienced" laser technicians and people with fake before and after photos like you'll find at most tattoo removal places... Esse Med Spa and Tawney are truly the holy grail of all your laser needs! ALSO-the facility is so beautiful and clean. The front desk staff is so welcoming, nice and accommodating. I am super grateful for Esse Med Spa and the great work they have done on my eyebrows. I had gone to a previous artist for microshading/ombre brows, and I did not like the results. I visited multiple tattoo removal places around 8 not just in Colorado but also Dallas and Florida, and they told me that if I tried to remove my eyebrows, it would leave behind a blue or green tint. However, Esse Med Spa has done an incredible job at removing my eyebrows. I'm only on my fourth session, and I have almost no tint/color left behind.
