TIRZEPITIDE AT VITALOGY IS INEFFECTIVE…read more The FDA has made it illegal to compound or sell tirzepatide in early 2025, although they are not strictly enforcing it. BUT DON'T BE FOOLED. You might not care about the FDA, but that is not the point. The compounded product DOES NOT WORK because the ingredients to make it were stockpiled late last year with the imminent medspa/tirzepitide cease and desist. Stockpiling, or hoarding, ingredients to sell later renders a drug useless, and the public needs to know these ingredients actually DO expire. Not only that, in shipping ingredients can get warm, making it more INEFFECTIVE. The labs have been so inconsistent, especially at Vitalogy, where they have encountered roadblocks with production from their labs. They kept changing how it is dosed and administered, but never disclosed to me WHY, other than "problems with the labs" and I was misled the entire time. The truth is they are not allowed to be selling Tirzepitide, and the products they get from the compounding facilities are made WEAK or from EXPIRED ingredients. MY STORY: I've spent literally thousands of dollars here since early summer of 2024 in an effort to boost insulin and curb hunger. I started at 162 (female, 5'6"), and immediately lost 7 pounds in two weeks, then lost and additional 11 pounds over the course of about 9 months. I thought something was fishy, but had no idea what. I continually had to increase the dose, and by March of 2025 I was gaining weight and constantly hungry. I hobbled along on Vitalogy's product for another 6 months, working very hard to just to maintain my loss, thinking the problem was me. However, I was recently told by my doctor that any compounded Tirzepatide I was using had expired since, basically, January. I am livid, but there is nothing I can do about it. My doctor prescribed me Zepbound, and I now am using it directly through the Eli Lilly website on a "self-pay" plan, which is actually CHEAPER then what Vitalogy is selling their garbage for. At my last visit I was told my weight stall was my own fault, because I need 1,300 calories just to maintain my current weight. If I could eat that, or less, I would easily lose the weight or maintain the loss completely on my own--- WITHOUT PAYING $200 per shot/week!!! In other words, the Tirzepatide is supposed to do it's job. That's what we are paying for, and the bottom line is that their product DOES NOT WORK! I told my doctor I am only taking my for weightloss and he's fine with that, because Mounjaro is for diabetes patients and Zepbound is for weight loss patients. Insurance covers Zepbound for obesity, and since I am not considered obese and just want to lose a few more pounds and maintain the loss, I must self-pay. I am totally fine with that. If you are considering taking this medication see your doctor. It is easy to find someone to prescribe this medication. Your insurance might cover it (what could be better than that?!), and if they don't, Eli Lilly puts you on a self-pay plan that is $500 per (4) shots, regardless of the dose (and even less $$ if it's for starting doses of 2.5 or 5mg). I can even use my HSA card to pay. Nothing beats being under the care of a real doctor, and taking the REAL medicine. I WISH I HAD KNOWN THIS!!!!! NO MED SPA should be trusted!! This is my story with Vitalogy, but every other spa is like this. None of them are legally allowed to sell compounded Tirzepatide anymore. I am livid that Vitalogy just kept taking my money and no one ever said a thing to me. I was misled.

Wanted to post an update- my eyelashes have NEVER recovered. They now grow in a downward position,…read morethey don't curl, and they are short. I don't even know how they could've been damaged so badly, but they are, and I'm too afraid to get another lift and tint to try to make them look (even a little bit) like they used to. I am praying they recover someday as I used to have great eyelashes.

I was given a box of my remaining shakes and sent on my way with a "Good Luck". They leave you high and dry. No follow ups, no additional counseling, no nothing. You can buy the exact products they give you on line for a fraction of the cost. In the end I felt completely swindled. The only positive was my personal counselor who was great but she soon left the company. We are talking thousands and thousands of dollars. While I am now on my own health journey, it's only now I can look back and see how inefficient this program was. They really don't care about you once you leave, in fact, even during the program it seemed very hands off approach as well. I think I saw Dr. Tran 3 times my entire 8 months. Pretty awful. Choose to spend your money elsewhere!

No face to face meetings w doctor or staff, meal replacements that you can easily buy on your own, and if this doesn't work for you, absolutely no refunds or accommodations. In my case, an upfront payment of 5k got me the privilege of purchasing meal replacements (which you can easily purchase on your own), zoom meetings every two weeks, blood work, and an rx for phentermine. Within about a month, the entire program staff turned over and I had no idea who I was assigned to speak with on zoom every two weeks, nor did the zoom meetings ever feel helpful. Needless to say I've had better results with pretty much any other meal replacement program I've tried, and not paid 5k upfront for. Optavia requires no upfront 5k payment, the meal replacements were WAY tastier/better, and the community/coaching are pretty outstanding in comparison to MedFit. I have multiple doctors in my family and all of them say this doctor gives them a bad name. Lesson learned. If a doctor makes you pay upfront and makes you sign a contract saying absolutely no refunds, regardless of your patient experience or outcome, that is a gigantic red flag. Dr Tran has had multiple opportunities to make this right but maintains she's entitled to my money regardless of service delivery or outcome or patient satisfaction. Legitimate doctors don't have to treat patients this way in order to keep the lights o

I was quite surprised when I was weighed, fully dressed except for shoes and socks. I weighed 10 pounds less than I expected. And my BMI was 23.5? It was 18.5 for YEARS, but I think that sounds sus at this point. When it was 18.5, I worked out 3-5 days a week and wore a size 4. The math doesn't work out. I literally JUST started Pilates and the gym again. So if you use a Groupon, which I did, you have to sign an agreement that you can only use ONE Groupon IN YOUR LIFETIME. Weirdorama. I've purchased many, many Groupons, and no one else does this, in my experience. Sometimes you have to wait six months or a year to repurchase. Groupon says that multiples of the deal can be purchased. They say they keep trying to get Groupon to change that. The offices are surprisingly large, and they offer quite a few services, including Coolsculpting (friend says that it doesn't work), and an infrared sauna. Sauna is $40 for 30 minutes, or four sessions for $120. Idk if that's a good price or not. You can buy your own sauna on Amazon if you're so inclined and have the space. I was asked if I wanted to go on their monthly plan--no hard sell--and politely declined. I took my shots home, but they will administer them in-office.

Instead of answering me, the staff got short and rude with me. They then told me I would still have to pay an additional $1,600 on top of the Groupon price. This is extremely misleading advertising. The $449 price is basically fake. They are using the Groupon as bait to get you in the door and then hit you with a huge upsell. Save your money and go somewhere else. Terrible experience.
