I went twice, first for micro-blade and then for a combo brow as suggested. I voiced concerns of them being light and not matching at the end of both appointments and was reassured they would heal correctly. Fast forward to when they are healed and they are barely there. I followed her instructions exactly for care and maintenance with no makeup, working out or water and applied the solutions regularly. I was told because my skin was fair, combination skin that they would take VERY well and that I was the ideal client for this treatment. That story has now changed following my appointments. I've contacted multiple times with these concerns and still no solution. My brows are barely noticeable and it seems to be a different excuse each time. I have multiple friends who have gotten micro blading - some with the same skin type and tone and they look amazing. I will be going to their salon to fix mine now. Maybe some people have had luck with this place but my experience was a waste of time and money. It seems all the photos from these experiences are taken right after their appointment when they're at their darkest. I would be very interested to see what these look like when they've lightened and healed as mine did. I can't be the only one. read more

After falling in love with my new fluffy brows, I decided to make an appointment to get them microbladed. The process was so easy and painless and they looked great immediately. I was prepared to have to wear a hat for a week, but the healing process was so easy and they never ended up looking nuts. They are now fully healed and I am so happy with them. I was lucky enough to get in with Lyndsey right before she decided to make the difficult decision to temporarily close up shop. I have had microblading done in the past, but my brows were in major need of a refresh. Lyndsey took time to explain what she recommended (combo brow vs straight microblading for me) and how I could achieve the most natural look. Of course, there was no pressure from her to decide one way or the other, but she gives you all the information you need to make the best decision for yourself. Lyndsey is amazing!! This is the second time I have tried microblading (first time not with her) and I am very happy with my results this time around. Lyndsey takes her time mapping out your brows to get the most symmetrical look. This is something that has really bothered me about myself in the past looking back on pictures. Lyndsey made a few small tweaks that made all the difference symmetrically, and I feel so much better with these results. She also softened my arch on one side that has always been my "bad side" and I'm feeling much more confident lately. They look natural and the color is spot on. Lyndsey does a great job of explaining everything to a T. For example, she chose a color that would heal more ashy than warm to match my natural color, but this color is warm at first and noticeable the first few days. Had she not told me this I probably would have freaked out when I got home but it has since lost warmth and matches perfectly with my hair. My hair is blonde so it is not easy to match and the microblading looks very natural and soft. She numbs you before the first pass (not everyone does) making the whole process very comfortable. My healing process was also much better this time around. No scabbing at all! She gives you a salve (that you use for aftercare which is explained clearly) that keeps your brows moisturized which helps you retain color longer. She is super sweet and the studio is warm and welcoming. I have also gotten my lashes done with Desiree who does a great job and is super cool. The vibe in the studio is great. I had been spending a significant amount of time filling in my brows every morning and she came highly recommended by a co-worker so I decided to treat myself for my 30th birthday. Not only was Lyndsey incredibly accommodating of my difficult work schedule, she was super friendly and welcoming. She spent a good amount of time mixing a unique pigment that would match my current brows and coloring. When she was finished, I was shocked at how amazing they looked! Desiree is a genius. My over plucked 90s brows were in bad need of revitalization, and I felt like she just got me and my brow goals. So happy with my microbladed brows, and she added some shading so I got enough oomph. I have dark hair, so they were intense (but kind of hot, in a Cara Delevigne way) coming out of the appointment, but 5 days later they're almost healed and really natural looking, and already I can tell they're going to be a dream. Getting tons of compliments already. Also, Desiree is super sweet, open to feedback and consultation when she draws the initial eyebrow shape, available to text for questions on aftercare, and the process itself was pretty painless for those of you that are as wimpy as I am ("no pain, no gain" is my least favorite saying). For anyone that's squeamish, bring headphones, with all microblading you can hear a bit of the "action", and it may bother you. The studio itself was cute and comfy, and definitely a little oasis in Rino/five points. I had my eyebrows microbladed and shaded in at Studio Vetiver. Sadly I wouldn't recommend it. Although the studio space is lovely, I found that the aesthetician didn't really listen to what I wanted. When I talked to her about my concerns after mapping, she was not open to my feedback and talked me out of it. In the end I should have been more adamant. I ended up with brows thicker than I wanted, the tails lower and not as natural looking as I had hoped for. I eventually had them removed. It was also super hard to imagine what your microbladed brows will look like after the mapping process because there are lots of lines on your face. One microblading artist told me she draws her client's eyebrows on beforehand so you can see exactly how they will look afterwards. I would HIGHLY recommend that! read more

Can't say enough positives about my experience with Karilyn! I just had my second lip blushing appt with her. She is truly an artist. She takes her time to be sure you are numbed and consults every step of the way with color and shape. Lip blushing is painful; more so than eyebrow microblading. The good thing is that lips heal very quickly and virtually painless the next day. My lips look great and I love that I have a beautiful color that looks like freshly applied lip color. A few words about the studio : Very cute and clean. Karilyn wears a mask and face shield throughout the appt, which is over 2.5 hours! She is patient and thorough. A great experience! read more
