Lynh is very gentle and gives wonderful pedicures and massages, Mindy is like the goddess of nails she is so good, and Dea is still learning gel manis but has done 3 for me so far and I've been happy with them each time! I've never had a bad experience. Manicures however it really depends on the type that you're getting. I stopped by for just a regular shellac and they did a fantastic job. Then maybe about a month or so ago I went in for a builder gel refill and it was a completely different story. The builder gel was so thick. It was basically multiple layers of dip. Compared to the other place I go to which tends to leave the builder gel fairly thin, but still strong so that it actually looks and feels like a regular nail this was just not the experience that I wanted. The staff are super friendly and very accommodating. I also like that they give out little treats and drinks non-alcoholic, of course.

I had an angular lob that had grown out, so all I wanted was a trim in order to even out the ends and bring the length up to touch my shoulders. I told Carol that I had existing layers, but I didn't want the layers to go too high on my head because I wear my hair naturally curly. I even showed her a picture of what I wanted. I ended up with a mullet with one side longer than the other. Carol kept saying my thick hair needed to be thinned out, so she created 2 inch layers that encircled my entire head. I cannot even side part my hair because the layers are so short and they stick straight up when I try to do that. I would think that creating short layers makes thick, curly hair appear thicker, so I don't know why she did that. I went back and had it fixed by Kathy, who was absolutely wonderful. I do not recommend Carol for curly or thick hair. She just graduated from hair school and needs more training. I feel she should have declined to cut my hair if she didn't know how to cut curly hair. I'm still rating the salon as 4 stars because I had a great experience in the past with Michelle and Kathy did an amazing job making Carol's work into an actual bob
