I had a funny situation happen I noticed a truck that esquire auto had and.... anyway I bought the truck thinking it was a Diesel engine. So I put diesel in it in my way home and noticed a sudden change in the way the truck was running, so I immediately I drove it back JR my sales rep was on it, we scanned it and saw a code we thought was a sensor. After the miss understanding was discovered ‍ they immediately had the truck towed and within 5 days it was fixed. Jr kept me informed the entire time and only charged me $500 for the towing fee and the repairs to the. Which I appreciate because the incident was my fault so I didn't expect it for free. No your buying used cars when you go here and if for some reason something happens, their good people they will take care of you.

Various reviews here say the vehicles they received had problems. This business sells the used vehicles "as is" so there is no guarantee. We've put close to 2,000 miles on the car already including a long road trip with only minor problems. As they say, "Your mileage may vary ".

I had seen the dealership's mixed reviews beforehand, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because they had a vehicle advertised at a reasonable price. I went in to inspect the vehicle and was initially met by a friendly salesperson who allowed me to take it for a test drive. After the test drive, we went into his office to discuss the vehicle and pricing. At that point, his demeanor changed noticeably. I felt pressured to make a decision quickly, and it became clear that he wanted me to provide my Social Security number so they could run my credit before continuing the discussion. I provided the information, and after my credit was checked and apparently approved, his demeanor became friendly again. We proceeded to review the numbers, at which point additional products were presented, including an anti-theft system and an additional insurance/protection plan costing several thousand dollars. I made it clear that I did not want these products. I was then offered the anti-theft product at approximately half of the originally quoted price. At that point, I decided that I was no longer comfortable moving forward with the dealership and left without purchasing the vehicle. A few weeks later, I received letters from three different companies stating that they had received or processed a credit application associated with my visit. Based on those notices, it appeared that multiple credit inquiries had been made in connection with my attempt to purchase the vehicle. This was particularly concerning because I had not expected multiple separate credit inquiries. For comparison, I subsequently visited another dealership in Ontario. Based on my credit profile, I was approved promptly and was able to purchase a vehicle without experiencing the same type of pressure or additional-product sales process. Based on my experience, I would not return to this dealership.

Absolutely terrible experience. We drove out to this dealership for a 2014 Ford F-150 Lariat listed…read moreat $13,995. My boyfriend had already test-driven the truck earlier that morning and was under the impression that we could purchase it for around $15,500 out the door, including taxes and reasonable fees. Before going, I looked up the dealership and saw its 2.4 star Yelp rating with over 1,300 reviews. Many of the one star reviews described the exact same experience we ended up having. Unexpected markups, mandatory add-ons, and misleading pricing. I wiiiish he would've listened when I tried telling him this. When we arrived, we were left standing outside in the heat for over 10 minutes waiting for the truck, only to be told that it had supposedly been taken for a test drive. We were then told it would be another 10-20 minutes. At that point, I asked that we simply discuss the numbers. The truck was advertised at $13,995, and we came prepared to pay the listed price plus taxes and reasonable processing fees. Once we made it clear that we were not interested in unnecessary add-ons, the price suddenly jumped to around $20,000. For a USED 2014 truck with approximately 150,000 miles, they were trying to justify thousands of dollars in additional charges for things like door/rubber protection and other add-ons that we never asked for and are apparently non-negotiable to begin with. Almost like that should've been added in the original pricing! When we questioned the massive price difference, the salesman repeatedly avoided giving a straight answer and eventually hit us with, "Well, we have to make money somehow." Yes, dealerships need to make money, but that doesn't justify advertising a vehicle for $13,995 and then attempting to add roughly $5,000 in undisclosed charges once the customer is sitting in front of you. The salesman also tried to explain that taxes and pricing "vary by city," as if that somehow justified the enormous difference between the advertised price and the final quote. In Fontana you can expect to pay 1,300 for the exact vehicle mentioned (not $5,000). I have no idea why he thought it would be worth trying to argue to begin with. Classic bait-and-switch sales tactic. If the truck was actually $20,000 after mandatory dealer additions, then advertise it for $20,000 instead of $13,995. We could have saved ourselves the time if he had simply listened to all those one-star reviews describing the same exact behavior I had showed him IN THE FIRST PLACE. Save yourself the time. Ask for the out the door price BEFORE making the drive, and get every fee and add-on in writing.
