Fun. Good puzzles that I hadn't come across before. Tobi was a great host and not super overbearing like hosts can often be.

We had a great time. Well run and our game master Helena was terrific! We did the pirate room and it was authentic.

AMELIA IS AMAZING! Such a gracious hostess. Thanks for everything! We had so much fun at our friends birthday.

Our family was looking for something fun to do and we decided on an escape room. We end up booking the Casino Heist which was challenging but fun. I must say that Steph was so patient with us. We were late because unfortunately we did not expect to run into construction on Champa which caused a massive traffic delay. However, once we arrived we were checked in right away and got off to a good start. The props in the room were good and the clues were a bit of a challenge. We would definitely come back again. read more

Excellent time! We did Escape From The Egyptian Tomb. The room was very well designed, a lot of attention to detail, the theme carried through exceptionally well. Getting us set up, locked in, and meeting us as we escaped the tomb - Mona was awesome. Thinking about going to an escape room? Go here! There were 5 of us. Awesome for a birthday party! read more

This was such a fun escape room! Patrick was an awesome facilitator and gave great hints and was super fun!

This place was fantastic! We did their hardest room, The Casino Heist, and it was sooo much fun! The support we received from our game master, Savannah, along the way was perfect! We only ended up needing six clues! The staff was helpful and courteous! Savannah was just as happy as we were that we solved the puzzles and got the diamond! Two thumbs way up for this place! read more

We had so much fun doing your escape rooms! We kept having to come back because we had so much fun. Ended up doing 4 escape rooms in two days!! Highly recommend. Felix was the employee who helped us! He was fantastic to work with and was very knowledgeable about the rooms! read more

We had such a blast! Did the Egyptian room and it was difficult but still easy enough to find our way through most of it! We didn't get into the last room, but we were close! Had a group of girls and a couple join us, so lots of fun interactions! They even showed us at the end how to solve it! (That definitely helped ease my anxiety lol) There is also an emergency key so you're never really locked in! We will for sure be going back! read more

We had a great time and loved the Speakeasy room! There was a great variety of clues and it was put together really well and was very creative. Claire helped us out and she was great! I'd love to come back and try another room. read more

We had a blast! The staff was really friendly and helpful, the puzzle rooms were amazing, and the price is great.

Held a team building event earlier this week for 11 players. We did the Outbreak room and it was a blast! Selena, our game master, was excellent and helped us save the world with just over 4 minutes to spare. Everyone really enjoyed it. read more

This was one of the best experiences of my life! My family and I went to this place for the first time and it was so much fun. We solved riddles, had some laughs and dodged lasers. Shout out to Alex! He was very helpful with giving us tips and was a great host. I would definitely recommend this place for any event; first date, family outing, whatever you want as long as you like having fun! p.s - don't let the TIME fool you. read more

I booked our escape room for my dad for Christmas, and we had an amazing time! I loved the theme and was grateful for the clues when we were desperate. Tobi was the best! We had an amazing time working through the room, and finished before the hour!

Had a group of 8 or 9 for my birthday this past weekend. We didn't make it out, but we had a lot of fun trying! Easy location, staff is super friendly and accommodating. Would recommend and we'll be back to try our hands at another room! read more

Claire, Sonny, and Matt were awesome. They were super kind and friendly. They made the experience even better. We have been to many escape rooms and this was THE best experience. We did the Casino Heist. It was a lot of fun. We made it out with about a minute and a half to spare. I definitely recommend Escape Works. They are also cheaper than most places I have been to, which makes it even better! We came from out of state and will definitely be back the next time we come to Denver. read more

We are a group of enthusiasts with a range of experience from 30 rooms to 300+ rooms. We played the Flower Shop and Outbreak while in town for a convention. Solid rooms. Nothing super special. Our GM was very nice but I will say it put me off a bit when she kept saying if you give us a 5* review and mention my name I get $5 bonus. These are not 5* rooms by enthusiast standards. But worth playing if you're in the area looking for a game. read more

Easily one of the best escape rooms I've done! Had an awesome time with friends and had some good laughs with our organizer Emilia! We really appreciated that she was having as much fun as we were and she truly made the experience even better! We will absolutely be coming back to try one of the more difficult rooms! read more

The Outbreak room was really fun. Shout out to Taylor, Matt, and Savannah for helping to provide this experience! Definitely would recommend coming here for an escape room. Also a plus because it's close to the 16 street mall and light rail. read more

my friends n i had so much fun in the outbreak room!! clayton was such a huge help and great host! will come back next time we visit denver

Having done over 30 escape rooms nationwide, my partner and I can confidently say this was one of our least favorite locations. We did the Casino Heist, and, without giving anything away, I'll tell you the reason the success rate is so low cannot be attributed to the difficulty of the room, but instead to the disconnect in logic that penetrates nearly every puzzle. Being an avid logic-seeker, I was disappointed to say the least. We were booked into a full room. At the end, my partner and I, as well as all 6 strangers looked at each other with emptiness and the girl working actually said "don't look so sad, y'all, I'm going to take your picture for the website." What does that say about the overall fun-factor? On our way out, one of the girls in our group asked sarcastically if people actually do this for fun at all. Lastly, though the production value was decent, it wasn't anything to brag about, and the technology in the second room kept glitching, which cut our time in half (we payed for an hour and we'd like the full hour, please.) The staff felt impersonal, uniformed, and uninterested in their rooms. I couldn't recommend EscapeWorks to anyone, especially when Denver offers so many incredible puzzle room locations to enjoy. read more

Absolute blast! Challenging and exciting. Great for groups of all sizes. We came with a group of 20 family members and split up into three rooms. Taylor, Matt, Chloe and Selena were friendly, and helpful of course. Would recommend for anyone looking for a fun challenge!! Thank you team :) read more

This place is great!!! Selina was a great host!! We did the casino room and it was fun and challenging.

As promised, I am back with my update of our second experience through EscapeWorks. Unfortunately, it's sadly staying at 2 stars. This time it was the Egyptian Tomb room, and this time we actually won! Yay! By only a minute and half, though... :( During the debrief, the attendant revealed that we only won because the room wasn't set up correctly. We had access to a key that we should have had to solve another puzzle to obtain, and we couldn't solve that first puzzle because there was another important component that we didn't have access to. (Trying not to give away too many of the secrets here!) The attendant said she'd noticed that the component was missing during the setup, but didn't bother to go look for it. That's what solidified the repeat 2-star rating for me. I did think that this room was better designed and had a better variety of puzzles than the last room. We had a great deal of fun overall. However, after yet another problem with the props, I think we won't be coming back. read more

Went here while visiting Denver and had an amazing time!! Jen helped us out by giving little clues when needed but still making it engaging and fun. Will definitely be returning on my next trip! read more

The pirate themed room was great with puzzles that were just challenging enough! Stephanie was a great puzzle master!

Went and did the flower shop speakeasy room on a Friday night with work friends. The puzzles were fairly difficult but fun! Lidet was our game hostess. She not only provided much needed clues when we needed them but also lots of encouragement! Don't be surprised if she makes you dance for a clue!! So much fun! read more

This is sooo much Fun! The Staff is really helpful and very encouraging. Mona is the best. Everyone should try these escape rooms! We do one every year! read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk past , but my kids were literally dying of boredom so we popped in. We did the Blackbeards Brig escape room...there are no words. An escape room done right. Crisp clues, juicy codes stuffed with all the essentials (numbers, letters, puzzles, keys). There's about a million options between the clues and codes, so it can get a little overwhelming, but you really can't go wrong. The workers there will step in to give you clues. Tobi was great and kept us on track along the way. Not much else to say besides go see for yourself. You won't be disappointed. read more

We had so much fun! Tobi gave great clues and was super helpful!

My first escape room so I didn't really know what to expect. We did the Egyptian room. Got a bit frustrated at times but that's part of the gig or else it would be too easy and it would be over too quickly! Very clever. The game hosts were awesome. I'd be willing to try another one. read more

We had so much fun celebrating our friends birthday here! This staff was extremely friendly and the rooms are so neat!!! They have different levels of difficulty so there's something for everyone! We had a blast and were one clue away from getting through the last room! I would recommend this to anyone! You don't have to celebrate something to go! If you're looking for something to do with some friends - check this place out!! It's walking distance from downtown bars so after your escape time you can hit the town! read more
