Honestly I came here after a bad experience at Hawaiian nail Spa and am SO glad I made the switch! I got tired of the evil stares & trash talking just bc I kindly requested to fix a nail issue THEY created. Escape owners were so friendly & very welcoming. They even helped me come up with a design after knowing in my head what I wanted but didn't know how to explain it. The ambience is very warm. Not a luxurious space but it really does not matter when you have out-of-this-world experience plus not bad prices. So I use to like this place but not the past 2 times I've scheduled appointments with them they turned me down , example on Valentine's Day I scheduled for 2 pedicures and arrived early appointment and they told me they can't do my pedicures cause they had too many people knowing I had scheduled this appt 2 days in advance !!!! No don't go to this place ! They need to hire more people cause I've had it with them like I at my whole schedule and they didn't try to reschedule for the next day they said no sorry I'm like are you serious! read more

This place is amazing. It's a gem in the rough. I frequent nail spas, nail bars, nail places, etc. you name it... but I've never been to a place like this. It's family owned and local, just that alone is worth checking out this "diamond in the rough." However, that is not the only reason to come to this place. The technicians are extremely professional and knowledgeable, kind and friendly, and they actually seem like they care about their customers. I went here in with my friend in hopes of getting our nails done. When we walked we were asked what services we would like after telling him I would like a full set and that my friend would like a gel manicure he then laughed out loud while doing another customers nails. I I asked him what was funny about me wanting to spend my money here to which he was silent. Kevin is detailed and meticulous in his work! He does beautiful nails. I have yet to bring him a design he can't replicate. I recently spent 8 months working in Tyler, Texas. I went to several nail salons while there and found many were overpriced...AND more than a few were all kinds of snooty! Escape Nails and Spa is not only affordable but the staff is amazingly personable. I have never gotten fake nails, but their manicures and pedicures are top notch. Husband & I went on a whim to get Monday morning pedicures. Was nice & quiet as we were mainly the only people there at 10am on a Monday morning. Got right in with no wait. Offered complimentary beverages. Pleased with my pedi. They have several different options to choose from, we chose the "spa pedi" at $30/person (well so we thought...) One complaint--husband's pedi was over awhile before mine (no polish or nail design lol) and his was $5 more than mine...which doesn't make much sense. Other than that, we'd come back for another one, but know that man's cost more upfront. (Didn't see this on the menu and was never told that until checkout...we took it off the tech's tip.) read more

Went in on a Saturday at 12:20 for a mani/pedi. Their website says they close at 6pm on Saturdays. I was asked to come back on Monday because they were closing at 2. I clarified that they couldn't get a mani/pedi done in an hour and 40 mins and was told no. Seems to me you should accept customers until you actually close instead of turning away business. Was not impressed when I went there to get an acrylic fill yesterday. Made the appointment ahead of time rather than being a walk-in. There only appeared to be one employee who spoke/understood English, and that was not the one who did my nails. Questions about how often acrylic nails should be replaced and nail polish colors were only responded to by a nod and a smile. I can't complain about the job my nail tech did, but it was borderline uncomfortable since she obviously had no idea what I was saying. The atmosphere was a little too dark, and the table full of plastic hands with different colored fingernails reminded me a little too much of "The Ice Truck Killer". (that is a joke, people - only relevant if you've watched the TV show "Dexter") Didn't hate it but won't go back, either. Pretty much spent the entire hour or so feeling like they could care less if I came back or not. read more

Worst nail salon I have ever been in !! the lady didn't know how to file or trim and then another lady came over stood by her with toenail clippers, and at the wrong angle, split my big toenail down to the quick. I have been going there for the past year and a half every two weeks. I get a shellac manicure and that takes regular upkeep. The same lady always does them named Tracy and she always does a great job. They have listened to any problems I have ever had and fixed them the first time. Never had to remind them what I like and don't like. They know me by name and have for along time which is nice when you walk in. A couple owns the place and everybody else that works there is kin to them in someway. The owners Kristina and John that own the place speak English very well. It's not one of those places where they speak each other and never to you. I like that. They have a very relaxed atmosphere which is nice. I have no complaints about this place. I personally am happy I found them. I know that my hands and feet will always look good and feel better when I leave there. read more

Prices more than listed online. Went with husband for pre-baby pedis and my pedicurist kept stopping and switched to help a new customer. I also had to wait while they massaged him for over 20 minutes after mine was completed. Not a happy pregnant woman! read more

I tried Escape for the first time today and I really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and talked to me not just each other like some nail spas. I like the fact that the lighting was dim and the atmosphere very relaxing. I got eyebrows waxed a full spa pedicure and the prices are great too! Nina did my pedicure and it was wonderful. Literally the worst ive been to. Got a french manicure and they did not paint the second coat which makes it have streaks and they didn't finish into the edges of my nail. And they make you pay before which if they are going to be doing a bad job is a waste of money. read more
