The best dove release, in southern California...I used them for a funeral service and they were wonderful in every way.

Service on the other hand was severely lacking. Our waiter, while pleasant, lacked attention to details. Service was very slow the entire night and the restaurant was about 60% full. I had to ask twice for my ice-tea and asked 3x for a box to take our left-over dessert home. By the 3rd time, my partner got up and just took the dessert, plate and all to the bar counter to get some service. It was pretty sad. And, there is more. We ordred the following dishes: 1. Watermelon argula salad with grilled shrimp: I had asked for no feta cheese on my watermelon shrimp salad and of course, it came out with feta cheese sprinkled on top after waiting for a good 25 minutes. They did remake it but it came back with absolutely no flavor. The dish was simply argula tossed together with cubed watermelon, and grilled shrimp with no dressing. I guess it was super lean! The shrimp had a nice texture but flavorless. I didn't want to send it back again because that would drag out the whole meal even longer. Rating: 0/5 2. Corn Chowder with Crab Cake - Delicious! Rating 4.5/5 3. Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Brussel Sprouts: The steak was cooked perfectly. The brussel sprouts could have used a bit more cooking and seasoning. Rating: 4/5 4. Creme-Burlee with Chocolate Mousse - Rating : 5/5 This was a winner and that's why we wanted to take the left-overs home. Overall, stunning view, mixed food experience, and poor service. The entire service was pain-stakingly slow, and lacked genuine personal touch and follow-through. And the salad for the birthday girl was a huge miss. Most people, like me, drive a good distance after work, to go to a special destination to celebrate a special occasion, hoping for a delicous and well-cooked meal, good service and overall a relaxing evening. It didn't work out that way for me last night. I didn't feel taken care of, and my main dish wasn't good. It was a disappointing night.

It's almost like a farm setting and sorta lit up like Christmas it's very beautiful with all the lights. We stopped to grab a coffee at the coffee shop there and it was honestly not that great, they were very sweet the girl working there I do remember that. But their coffee was not that great. The dinner we had was nice but it was outside and it was freezing. So we were all shivering and by the time our food came out everything was pretty cold. The entire hotel was not busy there wasn't that many people there. Kind of a shame since you think it would be since it is beautiful there. The rooms were interesting and across from each other, however I loved the little fire pit they had in the middle of the outside area going back and forth to the rooms. The kids had a blast though they had fun running back and forth and they do leave a lot of yummy snacks around which was really nice. The customer service was not bad not the best but not bad! Everyone was nice but things took extra long when it shouldn't when no one was really there. I hope next time we visit this hotel it will be busier. But it's a very unique kind of a hotel and very gorgeous. At least check it out once. Have a really beautiful day :) Be kind to everyone - Aloha

We went as a family for dinner around 7pm, party of 5 with a 2 year old. At that point you don't need to pay for parking, so big plus. Our server Lindsey was absolutely incredible and attended to all of our needs, very happy, and helpful. We got the shrimp quesadilla to start, no bbq sauce. It's huge and packed with cheese and shrimp, what's not to love. The portions are fantastic here. My son got the swordfish, blackened, which he said could have had a little more flavor, but it was a good fish. The baked potato was the size of two fists. His wife got the fish tacos that were great, and my husband and I got the seafood pasta which was so filling and delicious. One note, my son and I did think the spicy ranch water was too sweet, next time we'll get a straight ranch water with no syrups added, but other than that, it was excellent.

It was early in the morning, but everybody on the beach seating was ordering lovely, lively, libations from the beautiful photo menu; this also included us! Their drinks were large, very tasty, and like the majority of their menu everything is fairly priced especially when you consider you're in Malibu, California sitting right on the beach. It was breakfast time so I had to forgo my usual seafood tower, but I wasn't disappointed in my eventual shrimp omelette selection. The food was excellent, the menu a decent size, not too short, and not too long, the staff gracious, pleasant, professional and expedient Oh yea, their stamp validation on your parking ticket drastically drops the price.

We were seated by the window, which gave us a beautiful view of the ocean and made the experience better. I ordered the Espresso Marrini and Fish & Chips. I was so hungry I practically devoured the food - it was tasty and seasoned well. The Espresso Martini wasn't strong enough for me; I've had better. Dessert was a highlight. We enjoyed everything we tried - the Hula Pie was huge and definitely shareable, and the Key Lime Pie was delicious with a balanced lime flavor that wasn't overpowering. Parking is valet, which makes things easier. The restaurant can accommodate groups. Restrooms were clean, and an employee was actively keeping them maintained during our visit. Overall, a great lunch with beautiful views, good food, and service.

The server was very sweet but unfortunately, the food really disappointed. I ordered fish and chips. The fish was really dry and the pieces were tiny. The fries were lukewarm and not very tasty. The setting is lovely, great to see the ocean outside the windows, but they truly need to improve the food quality.

It's a 2 story house that has been turned into this bar & nightclub. They have a dj as well. Several rooms and patio seating as also. The crowd varied in age. I even met another mother who was there with her daughter. So when I say it's an all ages establishment I mean it. The bar staff was nice and there were multiple bars to service the patrons. I don't think the bars were ever over crowded. The djs and music was solid. Variety of hip hop and pop and edm music was played. Plenty of room to dance. The one issue we ran into was security. Minutes before closing my daughter's boyfriend approached her on the dance floor. A drunk and over zealous young lady attacked him. She pushed him with 2 hands in his chest and screamed at him to leave my daughter alone. Moments later security approached HIM and asked him to leave? When I interjected and tried to explain the misunderstanding security told me they didn't care. That's when I told this kid I was old enough to be his dad and this is my daughter's boyfriend. I explained to him the female should be kicked out not him. He did nothing wrong. But we would not cause any problems and would just leave anyways. The way security handled the situation was diabolical. Their job is to protect the patrons and listen to them when there is an issue. Not ignore than and not care to find out what the truth of the matter is. For this I have to 1 star this establishment.
