Ernie and his staff did wonderful work, on my brand new car, and thank God! Thanks to them it now. Looks brand new all over again.

I went to have a free estimate for my car as I was backed into by an 18 wheeler, front end damage, mechanically sound and drivable. I was told they would have to put it on a lift and take it apart to give me a fair estimate. Well an estimate, is just that, an estimate! This was an attempt to "snag" the claim, thus leaving me with no choice on who did the repairs! It's a dirty underhanded and sneaky thing to do! My car, my choice! I would have been left with no way home had I fallen for this attempt to take my choice of repair shop! When I file an insurance claim, I like 3 estimates, this allows all involved with choices! I will never go there again! I suggest, no one else does either! read more

A couple of months ago I was in a very minor fender-bender; so minor that I wasn't even certain that the little noise I heard meant that the other car and I had "connected". But pull over we did and sure enough his side-view mirror was hanging off and I had a crease in my passenger side door. Thank God no one was injured except perhaps some pride. I've never in all my years of driving ever been in any kind of mishap while I was behind the wheel. The damage to my car was primarily cosmetic although the ability to open my passenger side door was slightly compromised as well. After researching a couple of area auto body shops, I brought my car into Ernie's. What I got back this past Friday was a car that looked almost brand new (it is 4.5 years old after all) with the damage beautifully repaired, the paint color matched and thrown in, an interior car detailing. The shop itself is pristine in cleanliness and order (unlike another shop I looked at where the sloppiness of the work spaces was a turn-off). The crew all seem really nice. We met with Ernie himself when picking up the car and while he might come across as a bit tightly wound, is actually a very nice guy, a talented auto-body man and someone who clearly aims to please. The only minor glitch was that I wasn't told they don't take credit cards (my insurance company had paid me directly,) so when I showed up to pick up my car, I had to turn around and go to the bank for cash. Although I didn't need to, you can rent a car from Ernie right on site so you have a car while they work on yours. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Ernie's and you shouldn't either if your car needs a face-lift. read more

I went here for some repairs after someone hit my car. They did an amazing job. The car looks brand new. They also detailed tf out of it so it even smelled new. They do a great job. While my car was being repaired, Ernie called with updates, and let me know what was going on with my insurance company and the parts supplier. I received another quote from a competitor and Ernie's quote was inline with the other quote. But - during the repair process, Ernie found a way to save a couple hundred dollars, and passed those savings along to me. I was thankful for that. I was in a minor accident but due to the age of my car, the insurance declared it a total loss. In addition to it being a bad time to buy a new car, it was of sentimental value to me. Ernie's took me in, gave me advice, and did an amazing job renovating my car! It looks like new (except for the rusted door, which I didn't ask them to replace). I'm really impressed with how helpful they were with me and what a nice job they did. I would recommend them to anyone who cares about customer service and quality work. read more

Went in for an estimate to replace my bumper but seemed they were too busy for my business. From the start they weren't very welcoming and seemed like they couldn't be bothered. Didn't even come out to look at my vehicle to see what I wanted. Said they were booked for 2 months to come back next month. Why would I try and book in the future without having an estimate? Left me feeling a certain way. Maybe they just don't like my kind who knows. Regardless I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

i would not recommend ernies auto body. he is good friends with the insurance adjuster. and im sure he is paying the guy off in cash so ernie can make more money. he claims he replases broken parts with new parts. the parts are either fixed impoperly or from the junk yard. he uses non factory parts which do not fit properly. when he picked up my vehicle, he demanded that i have to sign over the check from my insurance so he could pay for the parts. like an idiot, i did. i wish i never gave him that check until my car was done. because my car looked horrible, and i would have refused payment. for example he claimed he put in a new radiator, so why would he put back on all the old radiator hoses and screws. new hoses and hardware come with a new radiator. all he did was put on a nice new shiny radiator cap. and he said he put in a new air conditioner. when i picked up the car there was no fluid in my air conditioner causing it not to work. they ordered a new tank of air conditioner fluid which was there when i brought back my car. rather than give me fresh fluid he forced out if any, fluid my an old tank. my insurance gave me a check for around $3500 to get my car fixed, i am lucky if there is even $1000 worth of work done to my car. be carefull ernie is real good buddies with the adjuster. so something rotten is going on. i am going to have my car looked over piece by piece with the car parts receipt and work order. and have an adjuster ernie does not know, and have him check every part, nut and bolt the ernie claims he replaced. i am pretty sure we will find out alot of parts that were never replaced or bought from a junk yard. i will get justice, and i recommend anybody else who got work done from ernie. have a different adjuster or even an other shop look at your parts reciept and work order and goe over every part, nut and bolt and find out what really was done to your car. and get these crooks out of business. read more
