Can't remember the name of the cocktail but it was a coconut something 3/5 stars but the beer (also don't remember the name) was 5/5

Let me just start this by saying our server Cody was absolutely incredible! He totally made my day when he surprised us by having our steak entrée split into two plates, so that my partner and I could share. This alone made my experience there top notch - it really is the little things in life They come out honest Culichi were beautifully presented, but a little too tart for my taste, although I would try them again. The steak dinner was good but the star of the show there was definitely the Brussel sprouts - i could make them an entire meal! I'm not in Tucson often but I can see myself stopping by again and trying something new.

Wow! What a perfect meal to close out 2023 on NYE! Walking in, I saw someone having the salmon and I just knew I had to try it. It did not disappoint! It was one of my favorite meals out in a while. The salmon was perfectly cooked with a nice crispy skin on top. The seasoning was so delicious! The mango slaw that topped it... chef's kiss. Under the salmon laid a sweet potato mash that complimented the fish nicely. And for the veg, a sauteed kale salad with lemon. My one criticism may have been to have the kale cut into more manageable pieces. But if I go to a resauraunt and the only thing I can critisize about the meal was the size of the kale, you know it's amazing. The restaurant was packed but it was also NYE. A bit noisy but it died down and I was still able to enjoy pleasant conversation. I couldn't leave this review without also giving a shoutout to the espresso martini! Perfection! I will definitely be back soon!

    Bacon Honey Brussel Sprouts

My friend recommended that I head here and man, talk about the best rec ever! The first time I had their bacon honey Brussel sprouts was June and now I've been there once a month for that dish alone! I always eat at the bar and the staff is so friendly. They are very attentive and generally leave me to enjoy my food and whatever drink/cocktail I am getting. I don't drink beer but their selection there is insane! If I had to guess maybe over 40 different types of beer/ales. It's not a quiet place but it's also not extremely loud so to me, it's just perfect!

Found a great new Anniversary spot to replace our Portland moody haunt, Muu Muu's. Ermanos has a cool industrial gastropub vibe with warm brick walls, high ceilings & hanging wood LED lit sculptures, beautiful desert landscape behind a long backlit bar, couple flatscreens to catch a game, 20+ taps, Happy Hour 4-6PM daily, and a bangin' scratch cookin' kitchen to rock the menu! Bonus HHr 10-Midnight for Fri/Sat benders too! Hubby loved his Old Pueblo Burger about a 1/3#er seasoned with chorizo spices, cooked rare as requested, $15 a la carte kinda spendy though very satisfying and a big hunk o'beef. $1.50 for cheese and $6/HHr for the fries ($8 reg) which if you want/need them are finger lickin' good, double fried, crisp and fill a long 16" platter plus house made ketchup! $22 Buttermilk Fried Chicken was very good, but the lemony kale and cheezy mac were actually better. Crust on the chicken fell off on cutting and could use more seasoning that pops but lotsa black pepper does the trick to the 2 juicy thighs. Big portions so I had leftovers for a friendlier pub food budget if you are not splurging. Our $12 HHr/$15 reg Caesar had plenty of croutons and parm, tasty dressing with hint of anchovy and a lovely hit of zest from the charred lemon and plenty for 2 of us before mains. $10 HHr Cocktails included 2 of our faves, so we were killin' it on our inaugural EB Anniversary HHr; a Walnut Old Fashioned and a nitro served coupe'd Espresso Martini. The Martini was very sweet so could easily be stretched with more espresso for my liking. OF was super, clear cube, amareno cherry and curly Q of orange zest; hubby could easily of sunk a few more if not for driving! Bathrooms are always of interest to me for obvious reasons, cleanliness, need, and an area sometimes overlooked. EB's are for everyone btw, and the one I used has a unique blue-black-lit owl with wings atop in a separate frame, check it out whether nature calls or not! Esta Hermana will for sure be back Ermanos to check off Barbacoa Oxtail Pappardelle $18, Jerk Salmon $24 and Teres Major Steak $30 on my list to try! Hasta luego EB ;D

Chill bar with 2 patios! It was a gorgeous night. We brought our dog out to get some fresh air. Service was great, and our dog was very happy with her giant bowl of water on the back patio. The food was fresh and not salty. I probably could have used some salty on everything. I always get distracted by a happy hour menu. I'd like to return to try some of the foods on the regular menu. The happy hour prices were about $3 less than menu prices. The Monsoon was tasty and not too sweet.

Ermanos Bar serves unique and delicious cocktails, and the food is very good. I was very pleased with the service and atmosphere. It's great place to try in Downtown Tucson.

Spicy Fried Chicken and Mac & Cheese

Decided to visit to Ermanos since we had a reservation at Portal, I'm so sad to say we were underwhelmed. Stopped by on a Tuesday and it wasn't too busy but service was really slow, I had to go up and pay at the bar because we were going to miss our Portal reservation. Ordered the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Mac & Cheese, paid $29 for these two items which seemed high. I would've been okay with the price point if they were good but the sandwich wasn't spicy and the Mac & Cheese had a grainy texture. Ermanos is a fun place to get drinks but I wouldn't eat here again.

Long standing cool 4th ave establishment. It has evolved a lot over the years but has definitely hit a stride. Delicious food, cool az inspired drinks but also a good beer list. They are open late nights and also have the hip Portal Bar in the back serving up a different experience. Great more sit down option for food or happy hour w/ friends.. not as loud as some 4th ave establishments. Also on the Sonoran restaurant week list!

Choose the chicken sandwich this time and was still equally impressed at the food. Buttermilk chicken? Yes. Wasbi Pickles? Yes. Vinegar slaw? Yes. Chili Pepper Sauce? Yes. Very impressed. This sandwich had it all. Fries were crips and their homemade tomato sauce has that "it" factor that other sauces don't. Fresh & tasty food, great service.

Most unique finger licking buttermilk fried chicken... (dang that was so good!) coupled with collated greens and jalapeño Mac and cheese. I am picky on collared greens... this was so darn flavorful and I would do an extra serving! The fried cauliflower was delicious - crispy and savory. The Oaxacan Smash cocktail balanced the mezcal so well. A intimate bar vibe- ambient lighting coupled with loud music and yet it could be a place you gather with friends for a meal or grab a cocktail with a partner. Before leaving I discovered the intimate cocktail lounge Portal which looked swanky and fun in the back. Good and quick service. Parking is a beast on 4th Ave... we used the streetcar which was fun and less stressful.

The vibe of this place is really cool! It's super unique. The service was good and it didn't take long for our food to arrive. I was a bit disappointed in my burger though. It was very mushy and didn't have any flavor. My friend also complained about her fish tacos being too fishy. Maybe we just got a bad batch.

I recommended this place for dinner to a group of out of town coworkers and it was a hit!! The place was packed when we arrived but they had availability on the back patio.. great outdoor space! We started with the meat & cheese board, so good, chorizo, sausage, cheese, bread, spicy pineapple, yum! The Buffalo cauliflower was to spicy hot for some of our group .. I thought it was just right, with or without ranch. The bites were fried just right, not over done or mushy. Good sized order The Nachos with chicken were also a hit, fresh tortilla chips .. loaded high with toppings. I was full after the apps, so I opted for the soup of the day which was a wine reduced beef stew or something like that with a stack of toasted bread for soaking up all the goodness. Hardy and so many good flavors, the carrot coins added sweetness to the rich broth. And of course we finished the meal with both the tres leches bread pudding, which was ok, tasted like breakfast food! The monsoon chocolate torte though was so rich and delicious.. perfect for sharing! We loved it and the presentation was beautiful Our waiter Cody kept our drinks full, he made great recommendations and took great care of our party of 6. The out of towners enjoyed their evening, great food and ambiance. Thanks again!!

Good wine and dinner. Nice to sit outside in the cool air. I would say a pricier than normal and I thought the fries were a little soft (maybe because I was slow to eat them) but other than that good!

These drinks are innovative, thoughtful, and aesthetically pleasing in a way that leaves you excited for more and expands one's idea of a well-made libation. Inspired by a medley of global flavors, Juniper started off as a side project from a local brewery and unexpectedly exploded into a swanky hangout with zero seats left open on weekend nights. Yes, virtually everything on the menu is gin-based. But that shouldn't scare you away! Gin is essentially a neutral spirit infused with botanicals and/or citrus, so if you had a bad experience with one brand, there will be another out there you'll fall in love with. Elliott, the General Manager of the bar, elevates the passionate curation of his menu to perfection. Here are some examples of what you might fall in love with: Balzy Maracuya: A 'maracuya' is a passion fruit beverage originating from South America. In this drink, fruity flavors are enhanced with popping boba filled with balsamic vinegar. Botanist: Upscale gin and tonic with thyme, rosemary, and star anise. Cronus Punch: Rum punch lovers will be blown away by the rare sighting of clarified gin On special ocassions, you'll find limited edition items like gin sorbet affogatos and horchata martinis. At the turn of each new year, there's a menu rotation that may sadly remove some of my faves. But here, at Juniper I can guarantee two things: Something uniquely enjoyable, and a gracious staff that will be happy to explain the intricacies of lesser-known spirits on the shelf. In 2026, I predict it will remain one of Tucson's hottest cocktail hangouts.

It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar.
