One small suggestion I would have preferred high level updates of where we are during root canal. However Dr Slykhous did a good job explaining afterwards and even showed me the updated x-ray which was nice. They place a temporary sealant which doesn't feel secure but seemed to be standard and they said can last up to 3 weeks. I'm satisfied with the work however the pricing is on the expensive side even with insurance so the value doesn't match the cost. Also they charge for an evaluation. Hopefully I won't need their services again as the cost would likely prevent me from returning.

My dentist referred me here after they weren't able to find any nerve issues, gum issues, cracked teeth, root canals, etc. After some X-rays and tests (the same tests my dentist did) were done, they couldn't find anything as well. With the amount of pain I was in, I asked if they had any recommendations for pain management as cycling Tylenol and ibuprofen was doing nothing. The joke of a person who calls himself a professional, Hamberlin, told me "I could recommend a psychiatrist". I paid this place to have one of their professionals basically tell me it was all in my head. 5 weeks later, pain is still there, and now my tooth is loose. Dr. Woods was so generous with his time and made me feel like I was his only patient. He explained everything in detail, showed me all the x-rays and imaging results, and walked me thru the process with kindness and sensitivity. I went with a different place at first because it was closer to where we were living. Well, that turned out to be a mistake. I ended up having a bad experience there and finally switched to S&L. Dr. Ngo and his team fixed everything the other dentist had messed up. Right away I knew my wife had been right all along. I've been going to S&L for four years now and they really are the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Ngo has removed all my old metal fillings and replaced them with modern ones, plus he's done a couple of crowns for me. Everything looks and feels great. My wife has also been extremely happy with all the work he's done for her too. I'm almost 55 and I've seen a bunch of top-rated, highly recommended dentists over the years, both here in the US and a couple in Mexico. Nothing else comes close. One thing I have to mention is how good Dr. Ngo is with people who hate dental visits or get nervous about pain. His work is excellent, but it's the way he takes care of you that makes the biggest difference. For example, the way he does Novocaine shots is unbelievable. You barely feel it at all. Every dentist out there should learn his technique. With all that said, I do think the front office experience could be better.
