Honestly because I am busy with work and family, I appreciated the text because this is the best way and most convenient way to contact me during the week. He asked me about my project and was able to bring up the lay out of my backyard on google earth. He sent pictures of different concreting ideas which were really helpful to determine what I was looking for. We are very happy with our new fence! We needed a pretty substantial length of 77' which we were sharing with 2 neighbors. I appreciated that this company would bill the neighbors separately. Their quote was on the inexpensive side of the 3 I got. They did take 8 or 9 weeks to get us an appointment but I think that is due to building materials being hard to get post covid. They had a crew of 7 guys right at 8am. They dismantled and hauled out the old fence in less than an hour and had it built and cleaned up by 5pm. Ergeon is not a local fence contractor but rather a middle man for fence contractors. Although Ergeon was not local the fence contractor that they let have the contract was from a nearby town. The representatives from Ergeon were very pleasant to talk to but they made no home visit to truly evaluate the current condition of the project which in turn lead to miss communication between their fence contractor and the home owner. The final accepted project was installed correctly but some workmanship could have been improved. I had an issue with a 2x4 that was installed to hold my gate latch which came loose from its anchors. I notified the project manager from Ergeon, who again was very cooperative and said they would notify the fence contractor. A week and a half later and no response from the contractor. Made the repairs myself since left in its current condition the latch fell from its anchors. Ergeon has pleasant people working for them and the end project was okay but they need to investigate the existing site better and work on following through. read more

Complete mess of a company. DO NOT HIRE. The beginning was easy stated with Allison for the video consultation I told her I wanted to replace the fence with the same exact thing as what was there and wanted the kick boards and height as they were as well. My fence used to sit 7 ft tall including the kick boards. She stated she understood what I wanted and that was something they could defy do for me. I ask about the time frame to get the work done as I have dogs on the property that I would need to have put away. Allison stated 3 days for the work to be completed because they would need to demo on day 1 then day 2 would be placing the pickets and allowing the concrete to dry which SH said needs 24hrs, then day 3 would be putting up everything. That was okay with me I would need to board my dogs then for 3 days While the work gets done that's fine. Things moved over to Shey the project manager it took 1 month to pass by before I called Ergeon to see wtf had happened as I hadn't heard from anyone in regards to booking the apt and getting the work done. After 3 calls to Allison I finally get a TEXT from Shey introducing herself and so on. We get the dates booked and I was given a time slot the workers to arrive. Which by the way is a 3rd party company and I was not aware of. The workers get to my home demo the fence and start to do their thing I notice they didn't allow time for the concrete to dry and they arent installing kick boards. I asked them aren't you supposed to let the concrete set? And I'm supposed to have kick boards as well. They said no we can put it up now it will dry anyway and that's not what we were assigned to do we are only putting up pickets. Call the company they said. I called Allison and was unable to get a hold of her. They guys keep doing their thing and finish the whole job in 3 hours. I said to them wow you finished fast I was told it would take 3 days they said yea we work fast we need to get back to Sacramento before traffic gets backed up for us and left. The job was half ass done with some boards tight together and others with large gaps in between. I waited a few days for the call to go over things with Ergeon and yet again I was the one calling not them. read more

They began work on our 70 foot fence at 9:30 am on a Friday and by !:30 pm the fence was up! It only took that long because they had to wait for the concrete to dry!
