I typically don't post reviews but given the quality and value I received from Ergeon, I'd be doing a disservice by not sharing my experience. From the offset, Ergeon far exceeded my expectations. The fence in our yard needed specific leveling, with a unique design that served as no problem for the installers. Project manager, Al, even went as far as consulting throughout the project and helped me an avoid a potential pitfall that would have been costly. I will be partnering with Ergeon again for a project in the near future. I highly recommend them! read more

Ergeon was fabulous from start to finish. My sales manager, Jorge, was polite, courteous, helpful, and very responsive to all my questions and concerns about dealing with my neighbor and installing a good neighbor fence that a storm had taken down. My project manager, Omar, was also very helpful, responsive, courteous, and polite. The crew who came to do the install were great, efficient, did a wonderful job, and cleaned up when finished! I highly recommend Ergeon for all your fencing needs. read more

My neighbor and I needed to get a new fence between our property this year. We got several quotes and decided on Ergeon because their quote was more detailed and visual than the other others we received. They worked quickly, and both my neighbor and I like the results. read more

As a platform for competitive bids, Yelp enabled me to obtain fencing quotes from 5 different companies. The response from Ergeon was timely; within 24 hours, Kelly conducted a virtual walkabout my property and captured the essence of the details of my project. The customer service from Kelly was beyond outstanding! She was readily available to answer my many questions and was knowledgeable about permitting. Best of all she always had a kind and helpful attitude! Their customer service has proven to be excellent throughout the bidding process. I have decided to go with a competitor's bid instead of Ergeon. Both quotes were extremely close and judging from what I read on Yelp, either company would do a great job as both have extremely good ratings from their customers. I have to say I am very impressed with Kelly of Ergeon's extreme professionalism. Despite the fact that I elected to choose another fencing company, she remained positive and I am happy to provide a favorable review. Whenever you are in the market for a fencing installation, I would recommend obtaining a quote from Kelly of Ergeon. read more

Excellent pre-sales customer service and follow up. Their customer service has proven to be excellent throughout the bidding process. I have decided to go with a competitor's bid instead of Ergeon. Both quotes were extremely close and judging from what I read on Yelp, either company would do a great job as both have extremely good ratings from their customers. It literally came down to a coin toss and I went with another company. I have to say I am very impressed with Roberto of Ergeon's extreme professionalism. He was also very easy to deal with. All my inquires were answered within minutes and he went over each question with extremely detailed answer. He's a good reflection of a first-rate company. read more

Ergeon team was quick, efficient, and great to do business with. I would highly recommend them.

I must say that my review is based on what I didn't know. This is my first time reaching fie help and really didn't know how. Eugene took out his time and explained how the business worked, even thought they wouldn't be able to help me I was looking in the wrong direction for what I needed. I really appreciated him. For not take my money instead he explain everything. This is a good & honest company read more

Our old fence was at the end of its service life. Ergeon was easy to work with and did a good job communicating with us and our neighbors. New fence looks great and better quality than the old one ever was. Everyone particularly liked the bit they built around the avocado tree that had pushed the old fence out of alignment over the years. Now the tree has a bit of space again. read more

Ergeon was very professional since my first interaction with them. They provided me with an estimate after a very efficient video call. Their quote was clear and easy to understand, and they also provided me with 3D renderings of the project. They also kept me informed throughout the process, and their communication was flawless. 12 hours before the start of the project they called me to postpone the installation, which was not ideal. However, I appreciate the open communication. The project was nicely done and I'm happy with the final results. read more

Roberto was great. He contacted me quickly upon requesting a quote. I missed his call so he left a voicemail and sent a follow up text. Honestly because I am busy with work and family, I appreciated the text because this is the best way and most convenient way to contact me during the week. He asked me about my project and was able to bring up the lay out of my backyard on google earth. He sent pictures of different concreting ideas which were really helpful to determine what I was looking for. Unfortunately I wanted a company who would be able to take down my existing wooden deck and haul it away but his company is not able to do it. I appreciated him being upfront and honest about it. When I told him I didn't have a separate budget to have the deck taken care of, he was understanding and not pushy. He really seems honest and a good person to work with. Maybe next project read more

Matias was very helpful and easy to talk to. No work has been done yet, but getting a quote over the phone was easy. I called to see if I could get an on-site estimate and they were able to do a video call instead to view the type of work to be done and he said he would get back to me with an estimate. In order to do the video estimate, they do ask you to download Google Meet and since I have never used it before, I didn't know how to get to the link he sent me, but he was guiding and helping me thru the whole process. Both Max and Matias were nice and professional. I will update my review when I get the job done of how the finished work turned out. read more

They did such a good job! They were incredibly professional, easy to work with, and their prices were affordable. Their work was clean, beautiful, and really uplifted my entire yard. read more

The quality of the quote experience was great. I have not ordered the gate yet. Will update the review if I do.

Angel provided friendly, clear, helpful thorough feedback about what could be expected, options, and quotes for the job. Very professional.

We are very happy with our new fence! We needed a pretty substantial length of 77' which we were sharing with 2 neighbors. I appreciated that this company would bill the neighbors separately. Their quote was on the inexpensive side of the 3 I got. They did take 8 or 9 weeks to get us an appointment but I think that is due to building materials being hard to get post covid. They had a crew of 7 guys right at 8am. They dismantled and hauled out the old fence in less than an hour and had it built and cleaned up by 5pm. Lots of calls from salespeople in the beginning but it was worth the final result. read more

UPDATE: At the end of the day, they did a good job. Fence looks good and the price was competitive. The 3+ month wait was likely due to some logistics problems which hopefully they have now resolved. They were responsive to my concern (especially after my initial poor review, which is understandable) and reached out to provide an apology and a slight discount. Final product was good, I appreciated the effort, and I would give them consideration on another fence project in the future. read more

I used Ergeon to replace an old redwood fence. I can't speak highly enough about them - every aspect of the process was flawless, from the initial estimate all the way through the finished project. They were absolutely professional and reliable through every step, and the new fence is as good as a fence of its type can be. I'm happy to very highly recommend Ergeon! In fact, we have another property that needs fences and we've already decided that Ergeon will be doing the work. read more

I had a great experience with Ergeon. The entire team I worked with was helpful and professional. Maria started off by scheduling a virtual walkthrough soon after I reached out to them. She advised me of the lead time it would take to get the project started and sent a quote in a day or so after our walkthrough. I then worked with the project manager Shey who was great at keeping me informed of the process and answered all my questions. The install team worked quickly and cleaned up everything. I now have a nice section of fence and a new gate that I have needed for a while now. I would definitely recommend giving Ergeon a call if you have need of new fencing. read more

From the moment I reached out to Ergeon about our backyard fence project, I received prompt and professional service from Alan Gurd on a quote. The quote was fair and detailed in the criteria - and while ultimately on this project we went with another company, due to our fence having lots of plant growth on to remove, I would think to use them again in the future based on their fair pricing and professionalism. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. read more

We had a great experience. The sales process was modern and included 3D renderings, while doing everything with a video call. The budget was prepared in advance and was completely predictable until the end. Pricing was very competitive and fair. The whole process was way better than expected. Happily surprised. read more

Staining of our fence was completed in a timely and efficient manner. We had to move the dates a couple of times due to the incessant rains but Omar made sure to check our availability and reschedule to a dry day. The painter did a great job, was very communicative and left the space spotless when he was done. Thanks Ergeon! read more

The process with Ergeon is very easy and straightforward, from beginning to end, once you start. I would recommend working with them to anyone that has limited time to manage a fence build project, especially. I think the way they operate makes it easy for people without an extensive construction background or a preexisting list of reputable contractors that they've worked with is the past. As in, if you don't know where to start or with whom to work, Ergeon would be a good company to try out. I would use them again for any future fence construction projects. read more

Prepare to be impressed. I had a 170 foot fence installed by a Napa based installation crew. My new fence is very well built, looks really nice, and I am so happy with it. The planning, material sourcing, pricing, site prep and construction went so smoothly I was amazed. Sergio, the construction manager, was wonderful to work with and his crew was so fast I don't think I've ever seen something of this size built so quickly and such high quality in only three days, start to finish. Ergeon came out and replaced a fence on my property back in October. They did such a good job, that when my neighbor talked to me about replacing the chain link fence between our backyards, Ergeon was a no-brainer choice. Their quote was prompt and very reasonable, the communication leading up to the project has been very professional and timely, and their installers are very polite and thorough. Their work is exceptional. I recommend Ergeon without any reservations. read more

The Ergeon crew did an awesome job on my fence project. I needed a new fence and gate and added another section of fence and another gate. The complete process from estimate to final job completion was easy and the foreman kept in contact with me every step of the way by email and text. The estimate was very reasonable and competitive with two other local fence contractors however Ergeon was licensed, bonded , and had a superior warranty ! The workers were polite and left the area as clean as it was when they arrived . The gates are sturdy and look like they will last for many years to come. I plan on using them again and highly recommend them ! read more

We had ergeon demo an old chain link fence, haul it away and install a new wooden fence in our back yard. The sales, estimate and pre- inspection processes went smoothly. Installation was somewhat delayed due to weather and a couple of mishaps with the crews. But they picked up the ball and got it done. Overall we are very satisfied with the quality of the fence and the price. read more

Ergeon - Backyard fence - Fences & Gates Near Me

Complete mess of a company. DO NOT HIRE. The beginning was easy stated with Allison for the video consultation I told her I wanted to replace the fence with the same exact thing as what was there and wanted the kick boards and height as they were as well. My fence used to sit 7 ft tall including the kick boards. She stated she understood what I wanted and that was something they could defy do for me. I ask about the time frame to get the work done as I have dogs on the property that I would need to have put away. Allison stated 3 days for the work to be completed because they would need to demo on day 1 then day 2 would be placing the pickets and allowing the concrete to dry which SH said needs 24hrs, then day 3 would be putting up everything. That was okay with me I would need to board my dogs then for 3 days While the work gets done that's fine. Things moved over to Shey the project manager it took 1 month to pass by before I called Ergeon to see wtf had happened as I hadn't heard from anyone in regards to booking the apt and getting the work done. After 3 calls to Allison I finally get a TEXT from Shey introducing herself and so on. We get the dates booked and I was given a time slot the workers to arrive. Which by the way is a 3rd party company and I was not aware of. The workers get to my home demo the fence and start to do their thing I notice they didn't allow time for the concrete to dry and they arent installing kick boards. I asked them aren't you supposed to let the concrete set? And I'm supposed to have kick boards as well. They said no we can put it up now it will dry anyway and that's not what we were assigned to do we are only putting up pickets. Call the company they said. I called Allison and was unable to get a hold of her. They guys keep doing their thing and finish the whole job in 3 hours. I said to them wow you finished fast I was told it would take 3 days they said yea we work fast we need to get back to Sacramento before traffic gets backed up for us and left. The job was half ass done with some boards tight together and others with large gaps in between. I waited a few days for the call to go over things with Ergeon and yet again I was the one calling not them. read more

We contracted with Ergeon for replacement of a 30+ year old fence between two neighbors. Ergeon was most professional in their initial contact and subsequent contacts and site survey. They began work on our 70 foot fence at 9:30 am on a Friday and by !:30 pm the fence was up! It only took that long because they had to wait for the concrete to dry! The quality of the installation as well as the materials were top shelf! The workers were pleasant and readily willing to talk with and the clean up left our areas cleaner than when the arrived! Kudos to the entire Ergeon Team! read more
