My property didn't have any fencing. A friend recommended Ergeon to me. The process was super easy. They use satellite imaging to estimate the linear footage of your property and quote it based on your materials and height preferences. The specialist I worked with was really responsive, knowledgeable, and patient. The quote he was able to get for me was the lowest compared to other fencing companies. Really enjoyed working with Alan. read more

Everything went better than expected. The quote was done virtually. The price was fair and the communication was excellent. Once I signed the contract with Ergeon, Omar, the project manager got in touch with me and communicated with me every step of the way. They came on the day of install and did a fantastic job. They cleaned up their work and I was happy with their workmanship. I would use them again, most definitely. read more

I had a great interaction with Matias! He was professional and did a good job at explaining how the paving process works and what would work best for us ! Thanks, Matias! read more

I had the best experience with Ergeon. Victor and Eduardo helped me through the project by addressing all my questions. They were super quick and responsive from getting a quote to finishing the project and followed up at every step. I will definitely recommend them. read more

Overpriced, rude on the phone, lacking knowledge about products and services they offer, unprofessional, kept insisting on doing it their way instead of actually listening to the client's needs, and quoting over $2,000 more than the competition. Beware. read more

Matias was delightfully responsive, not something expected from a contractor. He asked efficient questions, noted the company was not able to provide the services for my location, and proceed to help me figure out how to move forward. I'm impressed. read more

Updated review after fence and gate install. Absolutely amazed at how fast and efficient the crew worked to demo and install everything in one day. They did a really excellent job and it looks awesome. All interactions with the company from initial bid to working with the project manager were easy and smooth. Highly recommend. read more

Alan was amazing in term of customer service. Although we didn't use them this time given their quote was outbid by a small margin by a referred local fence installer, their price is still very reasonable and transparent. Our landscape designer actually used Ergeon for their own house and recommended them. Will definitely try them next time! read more

I live part time at my fathers and was in charge while our fence was installed and driveway repaired in 2019. Waste of my time considering they did exactly what my father and I initially instructed. Nothing out of place or installed improperly. They were knowledgeable about cement cones surrounding the fence posts. Bravo! We chose to do this on certain parts and not on others depending where the fence was on our property. All other posts were below ground covering and no cement was showing in the end. Perfecto!! The beautifully even cement in our driveway kept the kidos's plenty entertained with hopscotch and doll parties during lockdown last year. Communication is key. read more

Matias is very professional and provides a great service with a no contact option for those that still need it. I found it super convenient for my schedule. Great service!! read more

Boy the website makes it seem so simple and transparent. In reality the process can get complicated and their pricing came out higher than expected. Worse was their communication and follow through. I gave them several chances to get my business but they were not willing to do my fence job without a permit that was not necessary. I even called my county to confirm a permit was not required. They wasted my time with a lot of back and forth and the company is essentially a middle man between you and the actual contractor. Stay away. I have worked with two other fence companies and the experience was much better. read more

Ergeon is not a local fence contractor but rather a middle man for fence contractors. Although Ergeon was not local the fence contractor that they let have the contract was from a nearby town. The representatives from Ergeon were very pleasant to talk to but they made no home visit to truly evaluate the current condition of the project which in turn lead to miss communication between their fence contractor and the home owner. The final accepted project was installed correctly but some workmanship could have been improved. I had an issue with a 2x4 that was installed to hold my gate latch which came loose from its anchors. I notified the project manager from Ergeon, who again was very cooperative and said they would notify the fence contractor. A week and a half later and no response from the contractor. Made the repairs myself since left in its current condition the latch fell from its anchors. Ergeon has pleasant people working for them and the end project was okay but they need to investigate the existing site better and work on following through. read more

I'm looking to construct a new driveway in Oakland which isn't easy considering the permitting requirements. While Ergeon doesn't service Oakland, I got a quick response from the company and Matias was extremely helpful and communicative about best practices. Thank you! read more

Just had a virtual quote with Matias from Ergeon, who was very helpful and extremely informative. There were a few things in which I didn't know about, which Matias discussed in detail. Overall it was a great experience. Looking forward to the quote! read more

I am very happy with the Fence product that was installed 73' long and a return of 15'. I'm also happy with the respectful staff that was involved with this project. A change had to be made and it was successfully completed. Everyone was professional in their communications with me. I have not found this high level of respect and professionalism in the many other contractors I have have hired for projects. They also came in with a lower bid than more local companies which was appreciated. This is a company that I would hire again and recommend. The pictures show a yet unstained fence. Fence is curved in pic. 3 & 4. read more

Good experience so far in getting the estimate remotely. They set up a Google meet to show them the area where the project is going to be and the whole process took less than 10 minutes. They will send me the estimate soon. read more

I hired Ergeon for a fairly large project. My job included five sections of fence, two medium gates, one large 10' gate and over 1000 sqft of concrete and another 1000 sqft of stamped concrete. Overall I'm quite satisfied with their work. My initial phone conversations were informative and helped me to plan properly. They were quick to come up with a quote, and were willing to make changes as I changed my mind few times about designs and materials. Soon after I was assigned a project manager who worked with me til the very end. Right after we finalized the project, a foreman made an in-person visit and went over the details with me. I liked how thorough they were while preparing the ground for concrete works. Not cutting any corners and several people worked long hours to make sure everything was done the right way. A big crew showed up on the day they were pouring concrete and the execution was pretty flawless. The gates were built from the scratch, not just slapping together some pieces of wood. They look good, feel sturdy and show good workmanship. They welded the 10' long gate hinges to the metal post (as opposed to drilling holes to screw them in), which I very much appreciated. While they were doing the job I had few smaller tasks such as running pipes from downspouts inside the property to the street under the concrete and they happily accommodated my needs. I'll highly recommend this company. Also my project manager Eduardo Barrera was very patient and helpful, he was the interface between me and the people doing the work and he did a great job to ensure that everything was done properly. I'll definitely hire them again for my future concrete or fence works. read more

Loved how they communicate during COVID 19 that we can setup the video conference meeting.

Ergeon has not worked on our fence project yet but I will be adding another review once it's done. But as far as customer service goes, so far this is one of the best experiences I've had with any construction vendor ever. I've been speaking with Kelly who has been kindly and patiently answering all my questions after we did an initial contactless review of my backyard. I'm amazed at how great these guys are. I feel very comfortable working with them just knowing that any of my concerns will be taken care of quickly and professionally. Looking forward to seeing our project become a reality under their care. read more

We worked with Nicole Lindo to develop a front fence and gate for our home. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. Ergeon was able to provide detailed graphics and a quote in only a few days following the date when we had the walk-through. It really felt like white glove service and I couldn't recommend Nicole and Ergeon enough! read more

We just replaced our fence and the crew did an amazing job. I was in awe of how hard and efficient they worked. It was also nice working with such an organized company. Their quotes are thorough and clear and they communicated well throughout the process. Highly recommend if you are an organizational freak and like the support they offer. Received several quotes and theirs was the best. They stuck by their quote and the completed work is fantastic. read more

If you are looking for a new fence or fence repair, I would recommend using Ergeon. Their estimate and scheduling were effortless, and communication was just right. read more

Matias was prompt and informative on our virtual meeting. Waiting for estimate for a concrete retaining wall.

Look elsewhere! Hire direct! Ergeon is a middle-man company that makes everything far more complicated than it should be. I have no ill-will for the individuals that were just trying to do their jobs, but it felt like dealing with Comcast. Impossible to get a knowledgeable person on the phone who was willing to give you a straight answer. The installers did a good job (they were clearly a local company hired through the middle-man Ergeon scheme). I really wish I could have just pivoted to hire them directly. Even once the job started, the Ergeon rep assured me they would put extra men on the job so it could finish in two days but Ergeon never passed that information to the installers so they weren't prepared to get it done according to that schedule. All construction related companies are super busy, but I really wish I would have waited and hired a local company without all the Ergeon non-sense. Don't make the same mistake I did. Give your money directly to the people actually doing the work! read more

We contacted Ergeon, after seeing some of their work in our neighborhood. They were so professional from start to finish and extremely quick and considerate in getting us a bid and adjusting any specifications we requested. And best of all, they were very competitive with our other bids. We had our quote from Ergeon within 2 days and the work was scheduled, performed and completed within 2 weeks. The workers themselves were professional, knew exactly what they were doing and cleaned up our site as if they were never there; maybe even better than before they came. The following day, we were contacted by the company to ensure we were satisfied with the work and if we had any concerns. We recommended Ergeon to our son, who also contracted with them for his fence installation project. We highly recommend Ergeon. You won't be sorry you went with them. read more

Good price for a nice sturdy fence with beautiful staining. Pleased with their work and communication. Thought it was neat they could do the initial estimate by video chat. When we decided to go forward, they confirmed the quote with an in person visit and the price stayed the same. Efficient use of their personnel to keep costs down and no bait and switch. read more

So unfortunately I was not able to used them for my driveway extension due to the service area. However their customer service rep Matias was incredible and was very knowledgeable and even provided me with estimates on measurements specifications & tips to use moving forward with getting quotes from other contractors. Who ever thought getting an estimate for a new fence would be so pleasant. Inaki from Ergeon made it just that. He got back to me in a timely manner, measured our project from satellite aerial views, explained thoroughly my options, including what Ergeon could and could not do. He answered all my questions and gave me lots of information regarding new fences, including photos. He listened to my ideas and was patient, kind and professional. No pressure tactics here! We are early in our process but the bid seemed very reasonable . I could not have asked for a more thorough and informative interaction. read more

Our backyard fence was old and rickety, and radical tree-cutting by the neighbor suddenly replaced our green leafy private space into a full view of all neighbor's windows and a moonscape yard next door. We wanted to replace this wire fencing (and its deteriorated wooden posts) with a horizontal redwood fence to regain some privacy and put something nice in the back view. We hired Ergeon to build a new fence, and while the project didn't go as planned, sometimes that's when you find out what a business is really like. Ultimately we found that Ergeon was great to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we got an excellent final product. The initial communication with our project manager Carmen sold us on Ergeon. Carmen was very responsive, and really knew a lot about their products and fences in general. Our interaction with Carmen initially had us sold because there are a lot of fence companies but many didn't call us back and one showed up a week late to give an estimate. Carmen was positive, smart and efficient which is huge when you don't have a lot of time. All our interactions with Carmen were positive in a project that had some ups and downs. Ergeon used technology to make the whole process easier. Satellite technology to help get an accurate measurement for the fence, an app that allowed us to talk by phone and screen share the information, and modern detailed estimates delivered via text and email making it easy to pay and initiate the work. But also we could just call or email with a question. The subcontractor who came in to remove the old fence and build a new one was fantastic. He asked questions to verify what we wanted for the structure, and then calmly built a really solid redwood fence. This wasn't simple because we live on a fairly steep hill, so a lot of boards had to be custom cut for the bottom row. The problems came with the subcontractor who stained the new fence. They rolled on multiple coats of the wrong stain, leaving a wet-looking, too-dark fence with sticky black globs of residue hanging underneath many of the slats. We thought maybe it would look better "when it dries" but it stayed glossy and wet-looking. This is where Ergeon stepped up and really impressed us. We sent pictures a few days later saying "yuck" and they took one look, and replied "This is not up to our standards, and we'll fix it." Because you can't fix stain, and we didn't want a painted fence (losing the beautiful redwood grain that was a main point of choosing this fence in the first place) -- ultimately they sent the builder back out to remove and replace all the slats, i.e. basically they replaced the whole fence. Not only that, but they upgraded the cut of redwood from what we had chosen to a higher grade. And last, they sent a different crew to spray on the correct type of stain. All of that went very smoothly. The amazing thing is how positive to work with Ergeon was about all this. Nine times out of ten, as you know, getting mistakes fixed with any business is a big painful negotiation if they're willing to make it right at all. That was not the case here at all. Very, very professional and the final result after all of that is even better than what we originally imagined. Lots of compliments from the neighbors and visitors now and we've restored some attractiveness and value to our property. We're planning to use Ergeon again for a side fence and wooden retaining wall next. read more

Everyone I worked with on our fence project was timely and professional. The whole project from when I first contacted them to when they left took about a week. Ergeon fence was a great company to work with fast response times, very polite, very professional. I worked with Eliana and Frank, I got a quote for just the back fence and they were definitely competitive with price but the service was the best. They did a 45 ft fence in 4 hours! I'm very picky when it comes to work ethic and quality. Our fence is perfect, Im serious, not one mistake was found after they left. Thank you ergeon fence! read more
