We first used Jeff to remove a tree & put in concrete. He did such a great job, that we got a quote on a pergola we've been thinking about. The price was just under another vendor and the quote was much more detailed, so we knew exactly what was & was not included. Jeff & Rudy did a fabulous job putting up a beautiful pergola in our backyard! My husband did the staining, but everything else they did from the construction, roofing, and wiring in the TV, fans & lights. Even the They were super detailed and really made sure everything was done to our liking, even waiting a day or two while we had to make a decision, like the fancy edges/accent or decide on a roofing color (see photo). They have come back to make minor adjustments as needed, such as the roof leaks between some of the roofing pieces, so very responsive. These guys were fantastic! They had a hard day job to get a 125' tall redwood cut down that was 6" from my house and close to my propane tank. They took it down and 4 other small Bay trees with no problems and came and collected the wood the next day. Overall these guys gave us a fair price and kept to the schedule and did a great job. This company showed up using a different name. (Alfaro) They wanted almost $5,000.00 to do a few hours of work clearing some brush behind our house. Outrageous pricing. I think they just did not want the job. Or, just wanted to take advantage of me. I sent these 2 people to my neighbor's house as she needed work done as well. They asked for $5,000.00 UP FRONT. They refused to give her anything in writing. I would never recommend this company. read more

We were thankful we found 101 Construction. Jeff and Miguel and their crew were able to complete a job that was left incomplete by another company. They were able to remove and dispose cut branches from our 2 acre property. They were responsive, fast and completed the job within the agreed upon timeframe. read more

What can I say other than these guys other than they are fantastic. I had contact from Eight companies on Yelp. Four of which I had a back-and-forth with trying to set up a time and never heard back from them. One was a no-show for their appointment. Two showed up looked at the job cutting down my two large liquid Ambers and never sent an official quote or insurance info. Business must be so good for them that they don't need the money. 101 construction showed up wearing masks for COVID, provided a verbal quote and then within two hours a formal quote with detailed insurance information. Something important to note here is that their quote wasn't much more than the companies that provided an informal one without any insurance. Within 48 hours of their initial appointment on my property the trees were gone. I'm sure it would've been done sooner but I had a conflict so they had to wait two days for them to start. The trees were removed safely with care and concern taken by the employees even looking out for some of my pets that kept walking through the jobsite. After I secured the pets, the job was done quickly and efficiently. By the end of the day the trees were gone they cleaned up the site to make it look better than when they had arrived.
