Feedback: Omar and the men who actually built the fence were easy to work with. The biggest issue that we had with the process were the repeated delays, but that was not your fault or the fault of the construction crew. I appreciated the last minute decision to crank the fence out on Friday and I am impressed that they made that work. My only concerns are with the concrete as I wasn't sure if it would be able to set up correctly given how saturated the ground is, but it appears to be firm. I plan to go out and poke it later. I was surprised that the fence guys didn't have an invoice or something for me to sign as a walk through, but that's isn't a major thing as we were already under contract. I would recommend Ergeon (or the actual workers) to others.​ I am posting this a few weeks after the I wrote the original review. Everything feels solid. There was some shrinkage of the boards, but that's too be expected. We've gotten several compliments on the fence! I used deck cleaner on the exterior fence, which lightened the boards a bit, and just treated everything with clear sealant. read more

So went through Yelp to find a highly qualified company to replace a 10' area of fence. I chose Ergeon and didn't know they were in San Jose and subcontract out the work. Communication went well with me pushing on a start date. I started with the sales person and then was moved on to the project manager. Once they located the sub they schedule a date and gave me times to start. I don't live near Sonoma as this is a rental and was planning to come down to inspect the final product. They moved the start and finish time so I was unable to come to inspect and relied on a friend to FaceTime me to see the finish product. The fence was great though there was nails and sawdust all over the backyard and front yard where they were working. I meen nails everywhere.... I would say I am happy with the work, it's solid but the follow through was less than subpar. They did eventually had someone come out to clean up and I didn't have to pay until I was satisfied so that was good. I would recommend but you have to stay on them like a squeaky wheel to get your project scheduled and be there in the end to get them to clean up. read more

Our Southern fence blew down in the February Super Storm here in Napa Valley 2024. I really liked the online fence building tool. It allowed me to play with different fence options and enabled me to visualize what my finished product would look like. The local installer was very courteous and helpful. They informed me of bushes that needed to be trimmed weeks before install. They arranged our site visit gas and electric company a marking the gas line. There was one issue. On the second day of installation our gas line was hit by the builder. They immediately called the fire and PG&E and evacuated my Wife, Son and Dog. No one was hurt and the problem was solved completely in a couple of hours. My project manager assured be that I would not be liable for any extra cost of the response team. While upset and embraced by the very active response, I quickly calmed down and the team finished the project the next day. Over 144 ft. of new fence and I am very happy with the end product. I will use them again for replacing the rest of my fence in a couple of years. read more

In addition to my 1-2 day installation taking 4 days (which was only ever communicated by the installer not our project manager) and several issues not communicated until time of installation, I repeatedly had to go back to the project manager to request overcharges be removed from my invoice. It was only after threatening to report them to the BBB that I received any resolution to my complaints. Despite being allegedly focused on customer satisfaction, they are anything but. In addition to their inability to communicate in a timely manner and refusal to even believe me that I wasn't fabricating my complaints about my new fence, I expected to see a total discount on my bill from my complaints above totaling over $700 and am instead settling for $400 because I am completely at my wits end dealing with this company. read more
