Just tried this new gem in Solon and could not be more pleased. The won ton soup was incredibly fragrant and delicious as was the chicken noodle soup. My husband had the cashew chicken and was in heaven! We fell so fortunate to have this new resturant nearby ! The resturant is spotless and the owner is just lovely and so friendly. Like they say, some of the best gems in life are hidden. This little quaint Thai restaurant is truly a gem. It doesn't look like much from the outside, being that is sandwiched between a domino's pizza and a karate dojo. Once you walk inside you are welcomed into a modern space with a full bar. The food is great. Very authentic Thai food with a flair for the imagination. Mostly typical Thai dishes but they are served with a modern contemporary serving style that is quite impressive. I would definitely say that this is the best Thai restaurant on the east side of the Cleveland metropolitan area. Definitely going back for a second visit. read more

YAYYY DEFINITELY A FAN!! Visiting my fiancé's family in the area and they wanted me to order Thai food. They heard good recommendations for this place so we gave it a go! For those who don't follow me, my parents grew up in Thailand and I grew up both eating and cooking Thai food. I have many years and experiences visiting Thailand throughout my life, so I have some references. We ordered the following: - Drunken Noodles (pad kee mao): I perfect blend of savory, spicy, salty, and a little tang infused in extra wide noodles that were perfectly chewy even after a little wait for take out. Flavors were on point and was not super sweet -- sometimes it will be sweetened to appease western cuisine/taste more so. 5/5. - Pad Ga Prao - very common Thai street food -- stir fried ground chicken with a similar sauce to the drunken noodles (ga prao sauce). Flavors were on point and we added a fried egg on top which is how it's usually served on the streets of Bangkok. 5/5 - Curry Crispy Noodles -- I can't read Thai (terrible son, I know) and thought it was a dish similar to Khao Soi, which is a northern Thai curry noodle dish. It was not, but it was quite delicious! It's more of a red curry served with crispy noodles, which helps give it a different, crunchy texture. If it had a mixture of rice noodles along with the crispy noodles, I'd be more of a happy camper! Overall, 4.5/5! - Tamarind Chicken - for those who do not do what tamarind is. It's a very common pod-like fruit that has a tangy and mildly sweet filling that encase the seeds in the pod. It's a very common, delicious flavor. The slice chicken was lightly breaded and vegetables steamed/boiled to soften. For take out, they will separate the sauce and the fried chicken and veg so it won't become soggy. Thanks! Flavors were good and my very slight critique would be to add a touch of seasoning to the chicken/batter. I get it though, usually the sauce covers the chicken and is infused with the deep fried goodness. But a pinch of salt sprinkled after its fried can amplify the tangy, sweet sauce. 4/5. - Spicy Beef Salad - Thai Salads are a mixture of tangy/sour, spicy, salty, sweet, and sometimes a slight bitterness. If not bitter, umami from the fish sauce. Yumm! Literally though, the salads are usually in a "Yumm" sauce which means pounding all the ingredients up in a mortar and pestle to get the flavor profiles and combination of flavors out of ingredients and then marinating/coating what we ingredients. This dish was super well done and delicious! 4.5/5! So why not a 5/5? It's a solid place and everything was delicious! Though, personally it should be the standard of Thai restaurants and taste in the area. Usually a 5/5 rating for me has that small WOW factor that over the top impresses me. Those dishes above are your standard Thai dishes and flavor, kind of like the "if you get these right, you're solid!" -- they did a tremendous job! Maybe I need to be directed to that dish(es) that encompasses that WOW for me. I will be back to find out! :))) Sadly, no pictures were taken because we were too hungry to eat and devoured everything before the thought cross my mind. We'll be back! read more

Well...I have been trying to get to Erawan for months and I finally got a chance to do take out. I love Pad Thai and I was told there's is the best in the area. The ordering experience was easy and special requests weren't an issue. We ordered the Pad Thai, crispy egg rolls and Chicken Cashew. It was a bit expensive for the portions you get, but I'm used to the local Chinese place. It was still hot when we got it home which is about a 20 minute ride. As for the Pad Thai, I was wasn't impressed. It lacked flavor at first, but after stirring it up it got better. The chicken cashew was very good, served with white rice. The " mini" egg rolls were just ok. Their sweet and sour dipping sauce is very thin and runny. Overall it was a good experience, but not my favorite. read more

Absolutely divine!!! Thai basil chicken is my go-to dish whenever I order take-out from Thai restaurants. I must say, Erawan's is one of the BEST!!! Most places give more carb (rice) than protein. Ordered take out and everything was good. Only negative was that the fried tofu didn't travel well- the flavor was good, but after sitting in the little box for a 25 minute car ride it ended up a bit chewy. Looking forward to trying more of what they have to offer. read more

This place had excellent reviews, so we were feeling confident about getting some good Thai food. Unfortunately, all of our dishes were disappointing. Three of us got pad Thai, which had a smoky, burnt smell and a heavy greasy taste. There were little black charred particles all throughout the noodles, obviously from the griddle or pan they were cooked in. I got the mixed seafood pad Thai, which was very expensive. It had hardly any shrimp and a few pieces of squid that were partially raw. I never had pad Thai that tasted so bad. The other entrees were equally disappointing. And the traditional Thai soups- tom kha and tom yum were not even offered on the menu, nor did they have green papaya salad. The waitress and staff seemed nice, as did the chef, so I wish I could give this place a higher rating- but it was just not good. read more

This place came highly recommended by our family. We ordered the shrimp in a blanket as a starter. It was perfectly cooked Nd the sauce was light and slightly sweet. Next we had the spicy beef salad. The thinly sliced beef and fresh veggies were fresh, mildly spiced. We'd never had this dish anywhere before and would definitely get it again. Our main dish was the pad Thai. We've had lots of pad Thai and this was very good. We got a level two for spice and it was definitely hot. We're planning on a one next time. We never order dessert but decided to get the mango sticky rice. The mango was ripe and sweet, the rice was lightly sweet and delicious. We usually drive 30 minutes for Thai but this place is amazing & much closer to home. We'll be regulars from now on!!! read more

Just tried Erawan for the first time last night. It's somewhat easy to miss and it shares a building with two other stores, but you won't want to miss this. The pad Thai was delicious, as were the drunken noodles and crispy rolls. Everything we got was great, and the staff was very friendly! I only wish it was a little closer to me, but I will def make the trip out to Aurora again soon! read more

We tried their delivery, and while I hate to leave a not great review right now, my wife and I both found the food to be average at best. The Panang curry I got wasn't the least bit spicy, despite the menu indication. I also wasn't impressed with the overall flavor profile of the dish. The best Thai food I've had in years. The only other Thai restaurant I really liked was Lemongrass in the Cleveland Heights area but they closed years ago. None of the other Thai places around have impressed me, but I love this place. I highly recommend the drunken noodles and the fresh rolls. The two or three times I've dined in I've had friendly servers. The only downside is it's a very small place and it might be hard to get a table if they're busy. read more

I still gave them chance for 2-4 times but now it's consistently bad. Last night we had fried rice and curry dishes & fried rice literally smelled bad.
