So disappointing. We were looking for a new place for Chinese food. We've been spoiled living in Philly where Chinese food is excellent in the city and the suburbs. So far we've tried three restaurants here in Portage County, and been disappointed in all of them. Tonight, the dumplings were thick, gluey and tough. We went for Moo Shu, one of our favorites, and the restaurant was out of cabbage so they couldn't make it. We chose two other dishes. The Double Phoenix was General Tso's Chicken with Shrimp. The chicken looked like it would be good, but it was all breading and very little chicken. The beef and scallop dish we had was okay, but the scallops were "fishy", still edible, but not great. I'm guessing they were clearing out their fridges and using whatever they could as they are closing July 8th thru August 14th for vacation. We won't be rushing back. read more

Just got done with work and found this place. Yumm Chinese today. I'm not so hungry and had a greasy breakfast so I'm having Wonton noodle soup! Boy having combo with Kung pao chicken. Ya it all came in Togo containers of course. Even my soup greaaaat. Not a fan of the bbq pork in the middle. So I prob won't order that again. But broth and noodles were great! No bueno....Orange chicken flavor was decent but mushy not a crispy style, fried rice is a joke. Ordered veggie chow mein for $8 and got home to find out it's just soggy mushy veggies, no noodles! Pretty expensive meal for such an underwhelming outcome. Won't be back! read more

Very respectful, very efficient, and I don't think we've ever had an issue with an order and we go there all the time. This is my family's favorite little take out spot, we've been ordering here for the last decade!! They are always friendly when we call in to make orders and come in to pick them up, and the food is ready pretty quickly as well. I think they deliver too, but we always just go to pick up our orders. Our favorites are the sesame chicken (crispy, classic, delicious every time), crab rangoons (so creamy and crispy!), and the pork lo mein (good price for such a huge portion when you get the large size!). The location is easy to get to, and the food is pretty straightforward (but so, so good). We come here whenever we want Chinese-American food, bit they have some dishes that a bit more authentic too! read more

While they have delivered to us in the past, and we were able to order online, I did not receive confirmation of order. When I telephoned, I was told our residence is too far away. Solid Chinese food. I ordered delivery Chinese from here after recommendation from a coworker. I wasnt sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the sczeshaun beef combination. It was a good amount of food and a good amount of spice. The beef was tender and the egg roll seemed to be fresh. The price was good and delivery was timely. Staying down the street at Hampton Inn, easy walking distance, and I was hungry after my trip in. I didn't have high expectations, just needed to eat. I was very pleasantly surprised. It looks dive-y, but the food was plentiful, reasonably priced, and delicious. Definitely hit the spot. BBQ ribs are a yummy steal. I'm here for 8 days, and I can see myself going back. We are staying at the Hampton a block away, and we are very happy with our choice of dinner. The service was super fast, and friendly. Good food, reasonable prices. I usually get the War Su Gai and it is consistently good. Tasty egg rolls, fried rice and wonton soup. Crab rangoons and fried dumplings.... meh. I would give this place 4 stars for overall quality and value, except that I got sick once. The food @ Double Dragon is ok, nothing to write home about. My problem with Double Dragon is when they deliver the food, they stated if I don't give them a tip, they won't deliver to my home. My problem with that is you shouldn't ask for a tip, it's earned and if I live a little farther than you like to go, charge extra for delivery or don't deliver in this area @ all. I'm having a hard time finding a descent Chinese restaurant that delivers in Bedford, with good food and good customer service. They do not have to worry about me ordering from their establishment again. read more

This is ridiculous. The food we got there the first time was not great at all, but I decided to give it a second chance tonight. I placed by order online at 5:25. Note: they don't give you an ETA on your food. At 6:15 I called to find out where our food was. The woman I spoke to said "oh, I was busy so I didn't check the online orders, sorry." I had to press her to get an ETA. She told me 30 minutes. At 7:10 I called back. The woman said she didn't know where my food was and she'd call the driver and call me back. I got a call back, and all she said was that the driver would be there soon. I told her I wanted to know WHEN because I was ready to cancel my order. She said she'd ask the driver and call me back. I never did get a call back but the food did show up a couple minutes later, nearly 2 hours after we called. No offers to make it right. Quite frankly, the food should have been free at that point, or significantly discounted. And in terms of quality of the food, their fried rice is orange with a bit of onion in it: nothing else. I'm used to peas, carrots, maybe some egg. So if you get chicken fried rice, it's chicken, orange rice, and onion. The chicken is stringy. They're stingy with fortune cookies too. Had a big order tonight for 4 people and got 2 cookies, so my kids are fighting. We will never order from this place again. read more
