It appeared to me that this was because there was an order of their Goldfingers that perhaps one of the staff mistook for the chicken that was supposed to be my entrée. I called and explained the situation. I was handed off to the manager who apologized and offered to either a) have the chicken ready for me if I drove back or b) refund the amount of the missing food. Nowadays, it's about making the customer whole, legally. That's the bare minimum. I didn't receive something so you refund me for it. But it's not enough. Like I said, it's the bare minimum. Although she did apologize, twice I believe, it just seemed insufficient. It would've been nice if she had offered me a dessert, a small coupon, a discount, or anything else of compensatory nature. But none of that was offered. The business made a mistake, inconvenienced me, and disrupted my evening. Then they said I could spend another half an hour going back-and-forth to pick up the food that they forgot to give me or simply be refunded the exact amount that I paid for the food that I didn't receive. As I said, just disappointing overall.
