Ended up ordering the water spinach (Kong xin cai), kung pao chicken, dried pot with lamb. The water spinach was fresh tasting and delicious, had a good veggie crunch, not soggy or overcooked. The kung pao chicken was also pretty good, well portioned and came with veggies (bell peppers). It was my first time having dry pot and I liked that it came with plenty of meat and veggies (bean sprouts, lotus root, cilantro, celery) and even had seaweed and tofu. Overall all were good dishes and hit that craving for Chinese food. They all came out quickly. Service was decent. Conveniently neighboring the asian grocery store Tink Holl, though that also means parking can be limited if the grocery store is also packed. Definitely will consider coming back.

The bad Terrible service, they are brining out the wrong plates to every table, never refilled my water, even after I asked for a refill. Maybe I'm spoiled from spending time in the SGV but to me it's over hyped.

I have to admit, I am not a big Asian foodie. There are certain items I am familiar with and enjoy…read morevery much. Unlike most other cuisines, with which I am extremely adventurous and not only willing, but look forward to trying new things and experimenting. I am a bit timid with Asian cuisine. I find it a bit challenging to navigate their typically extensive menus. Based on a recommendation from a foodie I hold in high regard, we went to "Han Chinese Kabob & Grill" last night. I was informed it is a small establishment so we called for reservations. We were told they do not take them and to be assured of a table we should arrive early. So we showed up before 6pm to a basically empty restaurant. We were seated quickly by a pleasant young woman that spoke no English at all. When we ask a question she went off right away to find our server for help. Within the next 15 minutes the dining room went from empty to full like someone had thrown a switch. It remained that way the entire time we were there. Very soon a wonderful young woman arrived at our table. She provided water, answered several questions, and took our orders. She was very pleasant and professional. I ordered an excellent brown sugar milk tea along with a great cucumber salad and marvelous lamb chops. Some of the meatiest chops I have ever had. Just about everything is available with any level of heat you desire. I am typically very reserved when it comes to spicy foods. I find it hides the true flavors of the ingredients so I always order with no heat. My entire meal was prepared perfectly. My wife and our guests felt the same way about their selections. There was plenty of food to take home for another meal. Our final surprise was when we received our bill and discovered how affordable it was to eat so well. We had an excellent experience and enjoyed our stay very much. We will definitely return.

I have been coming to this restaurant in many variations, owners and names, but it still remains consistently delicious and authentic. The decor is so moms, non existent really, there are menu pictures on the wall, Payne Avenue is always under construction or lacking enough storefronts but I will always come home to eat. The egg drop soup, I know it's simple, but it's full of yolk and large pieces of egg, especially if you hit it with white pepper for an extra punch. The beef with spicy green beans are full of flavor, tender and the best I town. The pan fried noodles, tonight we ordered 2 different variations, veggie full of s variety of mushrooms and the seafood full of Chinese broccoli l, shrimp, scallops and garlic, the perfect consistency of crunchy with a little bit of saucy noodles. A visit is never complete without dim sum, shrimp rice roll will always be my all time favorite. I never remember to take pictures, we are too busy laughing and eating to have our phones out.

We ordered the rare beef noodle soup, a dish with spicy fish, and a clay pot brisket dish. Rare beef noodle soup: (3/5) This dish came with sliced rare beef, onions, bean sprouts, noodles, veggies, and a few other things. The soup was kind of bland and the beef portions were kind of small. The noodles were also average. Spicy fish dish: (5/5) It was indeed spicy and the fish and vegetables were delicious. The fish was tender and had a nice texture unlike some other restaurants that just heat things up in a bag. Brisket clay pot: (5/5) The brisket was super tender and tasty. The vegetables and radish that came with it also had a nice flavor. I know few restaurants that can make this dish as good as this one. Service: (4/5) Our server came to refill water frequently and checked in on us. Ambiance: (3/5) It was nice and quiet since we came close to closing time. One of the employees was eating in the back. The interior was clean though the bathrooms were kind of wet and they had no paper towels and had a moldy hand dryer. Just so you know, they don't have hot tea for free.

Fried fish pieces in chili oil with ginger, celery, and onion. It's not too spicy except when you get a big piece of ginger. You can tell they use good quality fish. I also ordered an iced tea and was happily surprised to get a delicious and unique Asian brand iced tea and not a generic US brand. It was the perfect complement for the spicy fish. Even the white rice was special. You can tell when rice has been sitting for a long time, and this was not. It was cooked perfectly, was a little sticky and moist. The only downside is that door dash has me select 2 crab Rangoon or 1 egg roll to go with it, and the rangoons didn't come along with my order. That could have been user error. I would definitely come back if ever visiting Cleveland again.
