The place looks like a gas station from the outside, and the inside is a bit run down and cluttered, but the food is good, portions are generous, and it comes fast. Service is a little erratic--they didn't bring napkins until we asked, for example. Most of their business is take-out, but there are booths if you want to eat in (served on paper plates-- order at the window, and they bring it to your table). Steamed dumplings are great and loved the Mongolian beef. It had lots of beef. My husband gets general Tso's but every time he gets it, others will not make it hot. This place got it correct. I tried this place a few years ago and actually live close enough now to go. I really like it. Fried rice - I'm not a fan of the yellow fried rice, typically, and thus doesn't have it! Boneless spare ribs - I'm also a fan of the taste of their boneless spare ribs. For the small, it's actually a pretty good size. Crab Rangoon - a lot of filling, which I like. Fried dumplings - standard Chicken teriyaki - it looked dry but you bite into it and is actually really good. It's not covered in any sauce, more like a chicken skewer. Curry shrimp - comes with small rice, good sauce, a little spicy which was expected. Overall pretty darn good! read more

This place is super fast and very well priced. I order from them once every other month or so. Most of their meat based food is pretty typical of American-Chinese food restaurants, nothing special. I'm a tough critic because I'm Chinese. The Hot and sour soup and the egg roll was my favorite. Had a combo bourbon chicken which was just ok, I could have used more broccoli and moister chicken. The combo came with pork fried rice and the egg roll at a good price so I'll keep trying their food. Next time I'll try something more authentic and see how it goes. This is the best/equal of any Chinese food in town, the items on their menu are always impeccable. Most courteous service. They do have tables but the parking lot is almost always, almost full, in spite of their own very efficient delivery service, because the counter has a constant parade of fans coming in to pick up. We like their food so much, and have such a hard time deciding, it on often replaces almost a week's worth of groceries. We love so many of their dishes, it's as if we are running a buffet. It has the very familiar looking menu that seems to S.O.P in every Chinese carryout in Cleveland, but don't be disheartened pal, whatever protein ingredients are supposed to be in it, will be there in abundance, if you are sharing multiple entrees family or buffet style telling your kids that the shrimp anything was vegetarian, and you won't be counting out one overcooked piece of shrimp the size of a newborns fingernail per person either. You will have plenty of perfectly cooked, decently sized pieces of your meat, fish, or seafood for everyone. Your taste buds will be thrilled by the real flavor in every sauce, forget the traumas you have suffered with thick, starchy, bland, wall paper paste that left you a depressed and apathetic creature. There will be wonderful ingredients, you may not have had in years, (so many ethnic restaurants have started eliminating ingredients and spices that were part of what defined them) with the delightfully contrasting textures you seek, spices meant to be in the dish that will evoke long forgotten joyful memories will tantalize your tongue once again. If the item is listed in red ink, to denote a hotter, spicier, cooking style, it won't be as hot as Indian food, but it won't be as bland as white bread dipped in milk, it seems they respect that you order a red item, you want a little heat. No matter how many things I've ordered, or asked about (you can tell I'm annoyingly chatty right?) they have never once screwed up an order, so that speakers well for everyone that works there. I think the building may have been a Red Barn at one point, maybe a Sisters, I don't know and you shouldn't care, but between that and the steady stream of people anxious to get that home and tear into the food, it would probably be a very utilitarian dining experience, but that said the dining area is in an L shape so you don't have to sit watching the counter, if your eating alone and brought something to read, it is clean. And hey, haven't we all experienced places, (and people) that were impressive on the outside, but stick a fork in and find out it's stuffed with sawdust? Stick your chop stick or fork in this food, and you will have the best meal you've ever had in any of the countless places all over the country that work from that iconic paper menu we're all familiar with. This is a FANTASTIC place ! The crab rangoon is HANDS DOWN the BEST in Cleveland. Light, airy and never greasy, it's loaded with the BEST crab mixture I have ever eaten. The General Tso is excellent in a nice spicey orange sauce, NOT the red, sticky sweet sauce other places serve. We eat here an average of twice a week and have NEVER gotten anything not good. The owner and his wife are FABULOUS and prepare everything fresh at a fair and reasonable price. They are kind, friendly and will make any kind of changes you request on the dish your order. I just checked out the new China Wok in Old Brooklyn and the food is fabulous! Very affordable, very fresh and they don't use MSG. I had the hot and sour soup and a spring roll. The soup was loaded with veggies and mushrooms! My girlfriend got the General Tso's Chicken and she loved it. This is a great addition to the neighborhood and a must try! read more
