Sesame chicken and shrimp fried rice
Jason V.

I have ate here a few times and it has not been disappointing either time it does not cost very much even alittle cheaper then getting a combo meal from a fast food restaurant about $10 bucks so that's not bad at all I got sesame chicken which happens to be my favorite whenever I do Chinese anywhere the food was nice and hot it was good I for got to get a can of soda but I paid already the women working the counter gave me one on the house which was awesome I appreciated that and thanked her for doing that they were busy at the time I do recommend stopping in the food is good and the workers are very nice

Steamed dumplings yum!
Alyssa D.

Top notch! Very nice when I picked up my order. Even called me to remind me to pick it up since I ordered online while I was trying to get out of work. Steamed dumplings are great and loved the Mongolian beef. It had lots of beef. My husband gets general Tso's but every time he gets it, others will not make it hot. This place got it correct. Such a gem. So glad I tried it.

Fried dumplings before I put the sauce on
Tessa H.

I tried this place a few years ago and actually live close enough now to go. I really like it. Fried rice - I'm not a fan of the yellow fried rice, typically, and thus doesn't have it! Boneless spare ribs - I'm also a fan of the taste of their boneless spare ribs. For the small, it's actually a pretty good size. Crab Rangoon - a lot of filling, which I like. Fried dumplings - standard Chicken teriyaki - it looked dry but you bite into it and is actually really good. It's not covered in any sauce, more like a chicken skewer. Curry shrimp - comes with small rice, good sauce, a little spicy which was expected. Overall pretty darn good!

Beef with Mushrooms

$5.50 lunch special. Beef with Mushrooms is wicked good and comes with MASSIVE mushrooms. Could use a little more beef though.

Popped in one evening for some to-go...Standard fare for takeout "Chinese" food. Wasn't disappointed but wasn't blown away either. Would I go back? I do believe I would as it was still pretty good and yes the portions were healthy! Two days worth of munching!!!

Good food and good service. Isn't the cheapest price but for what's it's worth I'll continue to enjoy the food.

As far as major cities go I've had Chinese food in NYC Chinatown, SF Chinatown, Dallas, and…read moreHouston. Li Wah does not disappoint! Authentic as can be as far as aesthetics, service, and food. The pork buns may be some of the best I've had and on par with anything better. The texture was perfect moist, soft, and airy. The pork did not deviate from well done traditional dim sum and there was no surprise flavor alteration. The pork was sliced, not scrappings, well cooked, and fresh. The wonton soup was good, I've had better, but really good. The chicken low mein was good, I've had better, but it shouldn't disappoint you at all! The dumplings had a great flavor profile with a welcoming hint of ginger. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food look no further!

Came here many times as a kid with my family as it was only 1 of 2 dim sum places in Cleveland. Our…read morefamily always preferred Bo Loong back then. There was one particular time dinning here when the service was terrible, our wait time was egregiously long, and to top it off, the staff were really rude to my parents (the nicest, calmest people). That self-induced ban lasted almost 2 decades and I came back in 2022 at the invitation of my daughter's friend's family. The place was SWARMING and we had to wait for our table. There is free parking but it's limited and usually full up on the weekend. Cart service was quick but I had to go over to the dessert ones to get them to come to our table. Offerings were pretty standard and thankfully, the taste was overall pretty good. Nothing was cold, everything was steaming hot. Wish they had a few more items to select from. The restaurant space should be expanded by now since they are so popular. It's impossible to walk around with all the big tables and people squeezed together. Afterwards, I bought all the kids boba smoothies from their bar in the corner (smart thing to have apart from the dim sum). They upped their prices over the years but portions are the same. Still more affordable than Lao Sichuan in Pinecrest but not impressed with the auto 18% added to the bill (because...weekends?). Cleveland needs more dim sum options! I have dined here for dinner once upon a time as well and I remember the dishes being pretty good and authentic but those memories are from circa 1999-2000 so back in ancient times.

We ordered the rare beef noodle soup, a dish with spicy fish, and a clay pot brisket dish. Rare beef noodle soup: (3/5) This dish came with sliced rare beef, onions, bean sprouts, noodles, veggies, and a few other things. The soup was kind of bland and the beef portions were kind of small. The noodles were also average. Spicy fish dish: (5/5) It was indeed spicy and the fish and vegetables were delicious. The fish was tender and had a nice texture unlike some other restaurants that just heat things up in a bag. Brisket clay pot: (5/5) The brisket was super tender and tasty. The vegetables and radish that came with it also had a nice flavor. I know few restaurants that can make this dish as good as this one. Service: (4/5) Our server came to refill water frequently and checked in on us. Ambiance: (3/5) It was nice and quiet since we came close to closing time. One of the employees was eating in the back. The interior was clean though the bathrooms were kind of wet and they had no paper towels and had a moldy hand dryer. Just so you know, they don't have hot tea for free.

All the food is exactly as I remember, great quality and freshly made. Pad Thai was amazing, such good flavors and texture, just very fresh! I recommend everything we ate, of course very safe. One dish I'd say for sure is the Mongolian beef! The meat was so tender, so unreal! Finally the atmosphere, as you look around, it's truly a melting pot of cultures. You know it's good when customers from every corner of the world is represented in this restaurant!
