The Szechuan Chicken here is great! I almost ate my whole plate and most places I barely put a dent on my plate lol The service is excellent and the restaurant isn't busy as you would think. I do love the attentive staff and various booth and table arrangement available here. I enjoy it here! read more

Authentic Cantonese/American style menu, whether you are ordering a family dinner first or 4, a combination platter or bowl of egg drop soup it will be made with full flavor. China share is like stepping into an old school Chinese restaurant, in downtown Cleveland. We have been coming here for over 30 years and it's consistent from the owners and wait staff to the menu. The egg drop soup, while simple is full of egg and yellow, not runny or brown. We came with a large party party on a Sunday night and were seated quickly, service and food were great and it's not too expensive. read more

China Jade is my favorite Chinese restaurant the atmosphere is clean and my favorite Waitress is Mae she's just so nice and treats you like Family when you come in to eat for timing the food delivery is perfect. You're able to finish before your next entrée is serve.d I love getting to dinner for one. It comes with shrimp chips, wonton soup, Cantonese shrimp eggroll and a spare rib. It is delicious. My favorite entrée is Moo goo gia pan pork fried rice and I usually order a pot of tea. If you're ever in the area you need to try they also have an extensive menu and a lunch menu. I know you won't be disappointed. read more

My family has been going here for years. The food is always good and you get a lot of food for a very reasonable price. The staff is always nice and the service is quick. I usually get takeout, but I have also dined in. The restaurant is casual. You can't go wrong here. Best Chinese restaurant in the area. read more

Great food every time. The food is always fresh. We love to order from here. Clean and quiet.

Food is always fresh. The service is amazing. The people that work there are so nice. We love to come here.

Only Chinese food I will eat! Super cool environment when you want to eat in the restaurant and quick service if you do take out.

The price has gone up so much and the portions and quality have gone down. Been going there 20 years...May have to find a new place.

The rating should be a negative 9. I ordered chicken and rice and received chicken with the chicken feet chopped off and thrown in the dish. When I complained the Chinese woman worker said that's what you ordered. They refused to give me my money back. I had to pay for scrap chicken thrown in as filler to the plate. read more

Best Chinese in the old Brooklyn area! Always fast service - food is very good for a run of the mill "hole in the wall" Chinese joint

My husbands family has been going here for years. 100% best Chinese takeout in the area. Dining in is also great!

One of the last standing old-school Chinese places. The food is made fresh every single time. The decor of the restaurant is the old school Chinese restaurants used to go to with your parents. The service was fantastic fast and hot every time. read more

This family business has been here for over 40 years. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant on the west side of Cleveland. They have excellent egg rolls and homemade duck sauce. They have a huge dining room where you can bring a large group. It's like stepping back in time. And that's part of the charm of this hidden gem. The staff is friendly and kind and very accommodating. My favorite dish is Happy family spicy. They offer a side of lo mein instead of rice for a minimal upcharge. I've never seen that anywhere else. I highly recommend it read more

Nice family Chinese restaurant in the area. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Food came out very hot and to order, packed with flavor. Got the vegetarian egg roll and lo mein, both we very good. Portion sizes were spot on with other Chinese restaurant along with being reasonably priced. Recommend if just craving some Chinese food in the area. read more

We've been coming to this place for years. We moved to a different county years ago and still make the drive. Our son lives in Columbus, when he comes to visit, he wants their food. It's like comfort food. Everything we've had has been delicious. Generous portions, friendly people. I've turned several friends on top this place, they also make the drive in. What the hell is wrong with all these people praising and saying great things about China Jade then being stingy and only giving 4 out of 5 stars?! C'mon now! To me, China Jade is top tier Chinese food for the entire Cleveland area. The price for what you get is unmatched, pre Covid prices for a combo dinner was $25 and post Covid is now $26.40. What inflation?! The General Tso's chicken and sauce are top tier. Giant pieces of great quality chicken, not your typical rubbery & slimy Chinese food chicken you get at other places. Noodz or fried rice on the side as well, along with a giant tasty egg roll, is just icing on the cake. The Beef and Broccoli dinner combo is also top tier from here, the sauce is on point and there's no skimping of portions on that bad boy either. You Parma and Brook Park people can do better! Give this place all five stars because it deserves it! read more

Best Chinese food around! Eggrolls are fire and so is their gravy! And yeas you want hot mustard!

SERVICE. I was insulted by a server lady in the afternoon because I used my hand sanitizer by bath and body works!!! She said it was TOO STRONG and she was walking around the restaurant holding her nose!!! Then she put a mask on. It totally ruined our meal, as I felt terrible!! She said WHAT HAND SANITIZER IS THAT!!! I saw one unscented hand sanitizer at the restaurant counter. Maybe if they had a courtesy one at the counter as most All restaurants do, I didn't need to bring my own? She was a total impolite drama JERK. She kept giving me the stink eye and I needed to hold back from fighting with her. Solution: they just lost a couple who were GREAT TIPPERS. Rant is over read more

I ordered food off Uber eats through there restaurant and I didn't get the correct food. I called into the restaurant to tell them I got the wrong order and they kept putting me on hold. After 6 minutes of them putting me on hold they then they hung up on me. I called back in and they were extremely rude. Kept telling me they had my receipt and then back tracked and said they never got that order. I spent $39 and They are now claiming I never ordered through them and they aren't on Uber eats which they clearly are. Worst customer service experience I've ever had read more

The only Chinese food I will eat.. Whether dining-in or getting take-out, it's absolutely the best! 100% recommended

Review number 777. The divine number. This review will be cryptic in nature with numerological undertones. China Jade is another restaurant that colleagues have brought me to. If not for them, I probably would have never seen this place or tried it. I am glad I did. The service is terrific. The guys I work with have been coming here for years and they are remembered by the staff. I actually really like the vibe of the place. The front entrance is pretty cool because once you set foot inside that threshold, you have no idea what to expect. It reminds me of Funkadelic "Standing on the Verge of Getting it On". Now I will quote Good Thoughts, Bad Thoughts because these lyrics have been heavy on my mind and in my heart: Travel like a king Listen to the inner voice A higher wisdom is at work for you Conqering the stumbling blocks come easier When the conqueror is in tune with the infinite Every ending is a new beginning Life is an endless unfoldment Change your mind, and you change your relation to time You can find the answer The solution lies within the problem The answer is in every question Dig it? An attitude is all you need to rise and walk away Inspire yourself Your life is yours It fits you like your skin The oak sleeps in the acorn The giant sequoia tree sleeps in its tiny seed The bird waits in the egg God waits for his unfoldment in man Fly on, children Play on You gravitate to that which you secretly love most You meet in life the exact reproduction of your own thoughts There is no chance, coincidence or accident In a world ruled by law and divine order You rise as high as your dominant aspiration You descend to the level of your lowest concept of your self Free your mind and your ass will follow The infinite intelligence within you knows the answers Its nature is to respond to your thoughts Be careful of the thought-seeds you plant in the garden of your mind For seeds grow after their kind Play on, children Every thought felt as true Or allowed to be accepted as true by your conscious mind Take roots in your subconscious Blossoms sooner or later into an act And bears its own fruit Good thoughts bring forth good fruit Bullshit thoughts rot your meat Think right, and you can fly The kingdom of heaven is within Free your mind, and your ass will follow Play on, children Sing on, lady. This takeout was one of the most comforting and delicious ones I've had yet. This is how: When I called, I was greeted with a sweet voice on the phone and the comfort continued with the cozy vibe of the restaurant itself when I went to go pick it up after only 15 minutes! The food itself was absolutely amazing. I would try to explain every dish I got, but I have no words. Just one favorite dish I had was the sesame chicken which is definitely a must have! The sauce was perfectly made and the chicken was rich and tender. This restaurant definitely checks off my criteria list in every way possible! read more

Hands down some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. Do not let this diamond in the rough keep you from coming in here to eat. Don't judge a book by its cover because the food here is amazing. I was truly in shock when I took my first bite. I was anticipating an average meal for a midweek lunch and was blown away. The women working the register was genuine and enjoyable to talk to. My boyfriend and I wanted to try out a new Chinese restaurant and saw this one had okay reviews. The food looks good but is very bland in my opinion. The sweet and sour chicken had no flavor. The plain lo mien was literally just noodles with no flavor. Was very disappointed and probably won't go there again. read more

My parents have lived in the area for 50 years and never realized this gem was here. We were looking for Chinese for dinner and decided to try China Jade out. Because of this Covid era we did carry out, especially since carry out was the only option ;). We ordered General Tso chicken w/fried rice, beef lo mein, pad Thai, egg rolls, and potstickers. Nothing disappointed. We were all very pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back. read more

We ordered the egg rolls they are so small anymore? Not like they use to be what a disappointment all the other food has been great will find another restaurant for our egg rolls read more

Great food! We had egg rolls, fried rice and teriyaki chicken. Generous portions. Daily specials.

Everything about this restaurant is exceptional, especially the food. The wanton soup, egg rolls and entree's have a great, distinctive taste, that can only come from quality ingredients. I just found this place two months ago and have been back many times since. 45 years making outstanding food! read more

A friend and I were craving some asian style noodles and I saw this place already have some pretty good reviews so I had to stop by. The place itself is run down looking. It's been awhile since they've had an update. Sometimes I get discouraged when I come to places like this, however when hunger over takes your body... things change. AHA! The woman taking our order was VERY helpful. We weren't sure what to order but knew what we kind of wanted. I wanted to order a third dish but she warned me, we already ordered a lot of food! Good looking out. She also noticed that I was muslim and asked if I didn't want the pork in the friend rice. HOW NICE. I wouldn't have known if she didn't tell me. It means alot to have others looking out for you. The food came out super fast and super warm! Steaming! SO many flavors and sauced uppp. The egg rolls here were also AMAZING. I WILL be back for another go around. Thank you so much for the kind service and great food! read more

Very good food... Staff very friendly. (One waitress yelled at me and taught me the proper way to handle chopsticks.) -"Don't stab food with them!" And several other guidelines.... Which I appreciate. Honestly she wouldn't have gone on about it if I hadn't asked. (Plus she was pretty.) Several dishes on the menu that aren't commonly found... All great. Definitely wouldn't go there for a sit down dinner, but the take out is delicious. The usual take out menu items are all great! Soups are all good and hearty. egg rolls are crisp and tasty. Chinese food. The options are always numerous. So today, when my youngest wanted Chinese for lunch, I pondered the situation. High end Chinatown food? Not today. Asian Buffet? No..standing in line to watch 300 of my fellow suburbanites waddle to the trough in the Temple of Excess holds no appeal (also it's shorts and sandals weather and...no. Just...no.). So what's in the middle? My parents called it "hole in the wall Chinese"'. This isn't a reflection on the owner or the sanitary conditions or food quality...it just described for us the standard Chinese restaurant and carryout, booths and four tops, paper placemats with the Chinese Zodiac...classic strip mall Chinese restaurants, the kind you grew up eating in. And this brought us straight to China Jade, a perfect representation of your workaday Chinese restaurant. Daily lunch and dinner combos, good food, good prices. For $20 plus tax and tip, two big portions, shrimp chow mein and sweet and sour pork, fried rice, eggroll and soft drinks. About $25 with tax and tip, great flavor. A meal's worth of leftovers going home. As it was in the 80s, is now and ever shall be, "hole in the wall" Chinese is there for you at China Jade. read more

This place gave me a very nostalgic feeling. The pot stickers made me never want to order pot stickers at a bar again. They were SO good, doughy and so yummy! I got the cashew chicken & that was straight gas. So many vegetables and just goodness. I also had hot tea while waiting for our food & they gave me a cute glass to use. One thing is that the inside is very quiet, they do not play music. But I don't even want to complain about that because it was somewhat relaxing because no one else was in the dining room. I recommend this place, was delicious! read more

My 50 dollar order was completely wrong. It looked like slop out of the kitchen sink. We called and complained the lady argued with us about the order. So we went back up there and asked them what the food actually was that we received. The First Lady agreed that the food was wrong and went to get her boss. The boss comes out sticks her fingers in the food and says "broccoli chicken this is your order" in reality I ordered orange chicken and got teriyaki slop drenched in soy sauce. The food was not edible it was nasty. The lady told my grandmother she doesn't care don't come back.
