Stotz Equipment, in Las Vegas, mis-diagnosed my Honda 7000 iu generator a couple years back. They…read moresubmitted a false diagnostic claim to Honda, about $ 600-700 dollar. Their tech failed to do his due diligence before he replaced a fuel injector. I picked this generator up and it was stalling in the middle of the night. I called a dealership in Arilington, TX, he said bring it in. So when I arrived service manager asked me to start it. He listened and said don't like they way it sounds." So he told his tech to pull out my spark arrestor and it was caked with about 1/2 inch of soot! it had never been cleaned in 9000 hours of operation! I called Stotz Equipment, Corporate office in Avondale, AZ. I spoke with the Service Director over 25 Service Managers her name was Ms. Julie Jackson. Another 1,500 hours and this same generator needed a new throttle body and fuel pump. I called her again and she did absolutely nothing for me! Now yesterday i go into their [Stotz] location in Cortez, CO, to order a $ 4,500.00 John Deere, diesel generator. I called Julie Jackson, at Stotz Corporate office and left a professional message. This morning she didn't call me she alerted her store in Cortez, to "cancel my generator order because I am not in good standing with Stotz." Don't ever do business with Stotz Equipment! They are total ASSWIPES!

I called and the gentleman who answered the phone was friendly and helpful. He referred me to Dustin and gave me his cell number. I left a message with him and my message was returned within the hour. Dustin was able to stop by my home that afternoon and quickly fix the problem I was having. I am so grateful to have found Stotz!

I've worked with this company in the past for electrical repair work related to older equipment and…read morefound Tool Service to be adept in this regard. With that in mind I was eager to take my Ridgid Brad Nailer to them for warranty work through the Ridgid lifetime warranty program as they are an authorized repair facility. For clarity, the issue with the tool was a single pin on the nail guide that kept popping out of place and causing reload problems. Nothing major, just a pin. I could have put some rubber cement on it to hold it in place but hey, it's got a lifetime warranty right? I dropped my item off without a hitch having already gotten the approval. They gave me my receipt and said they would be in touch in a couple days. I called a month later to inquire about the status and they had not received the part yet. OK, so I waited another month without hearing from them and called again. They told me the part was not available, and the item would have to be replaced. So far my only complaint was their lack of communication, understanding that this was pretty much out of their hands. A few weeks later I called again, aggravated at having to wait so long for this warranty work. I asked if the tool was still there and they said yes. I said I would just come and pick up the tool and fix it myself instead of waiting for Ridgid to get off their ass and do something. They said I could not have the tool back since it was going through the warranty process. I said, well it's my tool, it hasn't been fixed, you still have it, so I'm going to come and get it. They again said it wasn't possible, that Ridgid would have to authorize it. I said I would call Ridgid for authorization and call them back. When I called Ridgid, I was told that Tool Service had already called them and that I was going to have to wait for a replacement. So now I'm pretty angry that Tool Service is inserting themselves into my personal business and called to ask them why they had involved themselves in my issue with Ridgid. They said they had the right to get involved when I took my tool to them. Now I'm really pissed so I attempt to explain to this moron that what I pursue with Ridgid doesn't concern them and to stay out of my business. Long story short, regardless of how Ridgid handled this situation, these guys had no right to step on my toes and get into my business. Unbelievable lack of courtesy and professionalism on their part. I'll never go back to them and, unless you're completely out of options, neither should you. I would say I'm very fair when writing these reviews and however I can help others from experiencing poor service, I'm up for the task. This may have been singularly related to Ridgid warranty items, I'm not sure, but the lack of customer service and total lack of professionalism is inexcusable no matter what.

I bought a used rigid out of warranty from ebay so I already knew what I was getting into. I…read morebought new electronic things broken out of the box before and that is most infuriating. Tool service inc is the only authorized ridgid dealer in Las Vegas, NV. I was quoted 60.00 and about 3 weeks or a bit more for the repair. Sure why not. I have a Mikita 5030 orbital sander that I use, anyway. Got done a bit more than two weeks and it works! I never used the ridgid before and I love the oscillating pattern it does. The working tool paid itself off the next day! They are in a new location.
