If you want just a simple walk by place or a place to rest your buns without fuss while waiting for your other half to grocery shop, this is it. And she has some pastries too! Chris the owner is a pleasure to talk to and do business with. And the coffee is my favourite in all these years since. The Location is really is just a storefront although there there are round iron tables outside. There's always plenty of parking, but it's on that silly Bellham loop, regardless it's worth the circuitous route. I love coffee and when I find the right bean at the right roast, it's just heaven for me and that's what I found at Nova Rosti in their very delicious special Blue Dragon medium roast. Sadly, I moved away and was without it for sometime. I recently called and was able to place an order and get it delivered to me up here in Sacramento and I'm beating myself up for not making that call sooner. Thank you, Cris. You're an amazing & wonderful member of the Marin community and it's a pleasure to patronise your business. As my Mom taught me in response to my question. "Why can't we just go to the supermarket and get everything ?" Honey it's important to support your local businessman"

Outside the Nordstrom entrance, I saw the sign for Ebar and decided to give it a try. They offer a variety of pastries, salads, and such, but coffee was what I desperately needed! After today, though, I would rather go somewhere else. It's not just me either--my friends have also agreed that the environment feels tense, awkward, and unpleasant. The employees often stare at customers with completely straight faces, which makes the experience feel uncomfortable rather than welcoming. Today at around 4:30 p.m. (my transaction was at 4:36 p.m.), I waited in line without anyone acknowledging me or even saying, "I'll be with you in just a minute." The employee continued making a drink, cleaning something near the air fryer, and talking to someone in the room to the right while the line continued to grow. Eventually, she finally came over and took my order. When I asked to sign up for the rewards program, I wasn't sure whether I was simply supposed to enter my phone number or if she needed to do something on her end. She looked confused, stood there silently for a moment, and then said, "Just put your phone number in there," in a tone that made me feel like I had asked the dumbest question possible. I ended up not leaving a tip--not because I'm someone who never tips, because I do--but because of the rude attitude and tone. What also makes me uncomfortable is that the last time I didn't tip this particular employee, she grabbed the receipt and looked at it very closely afterward. She did the same thing again today. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but she has taken my order before when I did leave a tip and never seemed to double-check the receipt like that. Ever since I stopped tipping her, she seems to closely inspect it afterward. The coffee is also disappointing. With the unpleasant service and environment, I'd rather go somewhere else.

The place is clean, with plenty of seating both inside and outside, and there is a large selection of pastries, scones, breads, and grab-and-go items. My go-to has been the ham and cheese croissant, which was fresh both mornings. The coffee was also nice and hot, which I always appreciate. The staff is professional and efficient, though clearly busy, so do not expect a lot of chit-chat. I also picked up a box of Cheese Coins, which turned out to be dangerous because I loved them and ate the whole box. Good coffee, fresh pastries, easy seating, and enough tempting extras to make you buy more than you planned. I will probably stop by again tomorrow morning before leaving the area.

It could have used a lot more filling. I did appreciate the salsa on the side that it came with, which was tomato-y, garlicky, and overall very flavorful. It took around half an hour for me and 4 of my friends to get our orders, which was frustrating because we were on the go. Definitely a very busy spot! The place is a grab-and-go establishment where you order at the cashier and grab your food once ready (or they'll bring it out to you if dining in). I loved the outdoor seating on a sunny day but all the tables were unfortunately taken when we were there. The inside also has a couple of seats and refreshing cucumber water was offered.

But rather for an undisclosed Middle East location. Green bean has literally saved my life as of now. In a sense that I struggle to survive without good coffee. Green bean has intervened and brought good coffee to me. Making my life worth living again!!! I've enjoyed many cups of their cold brews, as well as hazelnut lattes, and even a few camomile milk teas which seems to help me fall fast asleep, despite the constant hum of rotor wash and ordinance which at times can last all hours of the night... Prior to setting up my portable WiFi capabilities, I would go to the Green bean during my off time to enjoy a cup of joe and connect with family back home. This was an enjoyable break from my chaotic job. Green bean, I cannot thank you enough for the service and products you provide!!! Green Beans Coffee has been providing organic coffee to soldiers in the Middle East, Africa,…read moreSouthwest Asia and North America for the past ten years in over 65 cafes. The Green Beans Coffee cafes give deployed service members a little bit of home for just a few minutes. Now, Green Beans Coffee has introduced a new program that lets anyone say thanks to one of our service members with a cup of coffee and a personal message of thanks. The new program, Cop of Joe for a Joe, lets people show their support for men and women in uniform by buying a cup of premium organic coffee and having it delivered to a soldier serving over seas along with a personal message of thanks. The new promotion isn't a big departure for Green Beans Coffee. The company was created in 1996 by Jason Araghi and his brother Jon opened a gourmet coffee shop in Saudi Arabia. Not long after, troops from a nearby American Army base asked the brothers to open a coffee shop on base. Within months, Araghi had been invited to open three more locations by the Air Force. Since the very beginning, the company's mission has been rooted in a deep seated respect, honor and gratitude to the troops serving our country overseas and at home. For as little as $2, you can buy a cup of coffee for a soldier overseas. The coffee will be served to a soldier stationed overseas, along with a personal message from you. The company will accept a donation of any amount, though it lists $2, $5, $10 and $60 (Buy a Cup of Joe for 30 Joe's).Just go to the web site or Facebook page to send a cup of Joe for a Joe. Green Beans Coffee was founded in 1996 with the mission that every soldier and civilian serving their country away from home deserves a morale boost and an improvement in their quality of life. According to Araghi, during World War II more than 12% of Americans personally knew a soldier who was serving. Today, only about 1% of the population knows a solider or civilian serving in Iraq or Afghanistan. Part of the intent of Cup of Joe for a Joe is to bridge that gap and allow anyone who wants to send a message of thanks to the troops to make a personal connection. The order form at www.greenbeanscoffee.com offers you the option to include your email address when sending your message. As broke as I am, I can afford a cup of coffee. So I sent my gift in appreciation to those serving our country who may not have family or anyone showing them tangible appreciation. I hope you will too.
