[[HIGHLIGHT]]Pretty spacious cozy clean modern farm brunch restaurant vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We tried chile rellano omelet, el pollo loco, and pineapple upside down. The omelet had very fluffy texture! All food were delicious and service was good.

Delicious food and great service! I got the biscuits and gravy and it didn't disappoint!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A very inviting exterior with plenty of parking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Upon entering we were immediately greeted and seated promptly. The menu was full of great sounding choices, more than I could decide upon. I asked our waitress (Jackie) and she proved to be a tremendous help.

    California Breakfast Burrito

Ugh worse breakfast I've had in a while. Very disappointed. Food was mediocre at best. Eggs for my omelette came out of a bag. Rice for the breakfast burrito was undercooked and bland. Terrible.

    BOSS Bacon

HOLY COW! The BOSS bacon is heavenly!! Best bacon I've ever had. Fast and very friendly service. Great location and good parking! I honestly think it should be called epic bacon instead of epic egg.

    Awesome Avocado Toast
    Sal C.

The food was good! I had the Flat Iron Scramble. The potatoes were well seasoned with a nice crunch and the scramble was cheesy and tasty. The chilaquiles sauce was more like store bought salsa. The avocado toast was solid, just depends on your preference of bread. The waitress was kind and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The establishment was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I consider a 3 as average because my 4&5 star is reserved for higher quality experiences.

    Whiskey Scramble

This is by far one of the best brunch places I've been to in a while. Great service, cute ambiance, clean tables/bathrooms, and absolutely delicious food. What more could you ask for?! This location is a couple blocks away from the Wyoming state capitol building. We stopped by here on a whim as we were passing through Cheyenne and wanted to try somewhere local for brunch. They make a good pot of coffee but I wish I would have also tried one of their numerous mimosa options. I got the Whiskey Scramble which was delicious. Two bites in and I was oohing and aahing about the food haha. The eggs were fluffy cheesy perfection, the potatoes were well seasoned and cooked just right and the toasted croissant with strawberry jelly was the perfect addition. I opted to try their Boss bacon which is chewy thick cut bacon with a sweet, spicy, peppery glaze and it was amazing. My husband had the Brew Burger which was smothered in green chili and he deemed the burger as just alright but said the green chili was good. He got a side of macaroni and cheese which was gooey cheesiness and very yummy. We will absolutely be back next time we are in Cheyenne. We recommend going for a walk around the capitol building to work off your food as it's in a nice neighborhood with lots of huge shade trees.

Vegan Breakfast Burrito made with Just Egg (R)
    J B.

We went to Epic Egg (R) for brunch and tried two of the 4 vegan items on their menu: Vegan Scramble with an added roated jalapeño, and their Vegan Breakfast Burrito. Both were very goid and made using Just Egg (R). I liked the Vegan Burrito better with it's diced chiles and vegan sausage. It had more zing than the roasted jalapeño which wasn't spicy at all. Nonetheless, we both enjoyed both and appreciate having these vegan choices available in Cheyenne. We also asked if it would be possible to get a vegetarian Green Benedict, making it vegan substituting scrambled Just Egg for the eggs and omitting the hollandaise sauce, and we're told they could do that. They won't make Just Egg omelets because Just Egg requires cooking at low temperatures for much longer time than eggs.

The chilli sent me straight here, because I need to share this goodness with the world. Those little ladies home-make & bake everything. As a Cheyenne resident everybody knows about the bread basket, so for those around here is your reminder; and for those passing through & like white chili, cabbage burgers, breakfast burritos, white chili and like being SMACKED in my face with sweet smell of sugar, sweets & baked pastries when you walk in - then maybe it's time you add this stop as your next afternoon lunch break or on your families early morning out (you can call ahead & have country gravy or bacon/egg burritos made for pick up!!!!), or as your next friends birthday or bbq sweet treat. Everything is is made fresh & when they are out, they are out. So if it's a special stop or you're thinking ahead - I would call an order in the night before! Seriously how many bakeries do you know that you can call at 10:00 am and ask them for a German chocolate cake slice for your 74 year old neighbor, and they are out so they make you a personal cupcake for $7 and it's ready by 1??? JUST THE BREADBASKET! They have early hours, so plan ahead! Items I can promise will be delicious: white chili (obviously), country gravy burritos, sloppy joes, any type of granola, strudels, and German chocolate cupcakes... but that is just from my experience. Might need to go buy some cookies now. Thank you ladies for feeding Cheyenne!!!!!!!! Ps not a lot of seating, but there are parks close by! :)

They are not exaggerating about the kale salad! I've only ever had 1 good one but theirs is my new favorite. INCREDIBLE. The champagne vinaigrette really pulled it all together.. Still thinking about that salad. Really cool selection of their home-brewed beers with something for every preference. Very generous portions, low prices. The waitress (receipt said Tatum so maybe that's her) who helped me was so nice and had everything packed up perfectly. They have 2 patios and allow dogs on them! We told the host 4 times how many people was in our party and they kept saying the wrong number. We sat down ordered drinks. They came fast. Then asked for recommendations. Got lunch recommendations. Then after we placed our order including their recommendations they told us they're not serving lunch for 20 more minutes if it's ok if we wait for the order to be put in. That was awkward and uncomfortable but we waited it out. Though my daughter ordered off the kids menu , the only menu provided to her and it was breakfast items. So her waffles came out first then she waited 15/20 minutes for our food to come out to eat with us. Her food said it came with strawberries and whip cream. It took 3 trips to get her order delivered properly. I will say the food was delicious. It was weird though when we got the check that we were up charged for regular fries with our burger and the bacon for my daughters waffles. The server asked her with her waffles if she wanted bacon or sausage without sharing it was an upcharge. That's my fault for not reading the menu. Though I do believe when you are offering an item you should tell the guest their is an up-charge for that item. Then when asked what sides come with the burger she said fries, salad or chips. I chose fries. Then when bill came I saw the fries were an upcharge. When waters were refilled it was spilled all over the table. Cup should have been removed from table to refill not pour over. Food was great ! Service was very disorganized though their personalities were good . The food isn't good enough to make me want to give them a second chance with the service provided

Keeping to a Vegan diet in meat centric Cheyenne with a new crew doesn't make things easier. I'm sure somethings will improve as they get their footing. It was interesting to be there during an "off-peak" time mid-afternoon and the place was very busy with dine in and to-go orders. Despite the "stress test" their crew gets high marks for being cheerful, cooperative, and cordial. All of that counts for much. I write to inform people who keep to a vegan aka plant based diet where they can find places to eat in Cheyenne. It is in that context my review is best understood. Others who keep to an omnivior diet likely have a different experience than me when it comes to the food served. I ordered a Vegan "Magic Mushroom" "pinner" (8") on whole wheat minus pepper Jack, and minus shake (parmesan), with a $1.50 upcharge to add guacamole. Total cost including tax and tip was just under $16.00 They told me it would take about 20 minutes and I was fine with that. Unfortunately, what they brought out had the seasoned Parmesan sprinkled all over it. I pointed that out and the server apologized for the error and said one would be correctly made. About 10 minutes later that is what was served to me. It's an okay, not great sandwich. Look at my picture and you will see there's one piece of portobello slice and one slice of tomato on each half of the sandwich. When the sandwich is called "Magic Mushroom" I honestly expect it's going to have a generous amount of mushrooms on it and was unpleasantly surprised when it didn't. The toasted whole wheat is the only vegan bread option and is fine, especially since it makes up most of the sandwich. It would be nice if they would substitute the guacamole for cheese without the upcharge, but that is probably a "corporate decision". As a plus they are open late. A downside is that it is just not a very satisfying sandwich. Being more generous with the mushrooms would go a long way to remedy that. I hope it's something they will consider as well as adding more vegan friendly, healthy eating options. There are other sandwiches, including one which includes hummus, which might be more substantial. I'll try it some other time. Service (Awesome start) Food (It was tasty) Value (overpriced for what I got) Ambience- confusing, the vibe is stoners wanting to satisfy munchies which is natural in Marijuana legal Colorado but seems strange in "Refer Madness" anti-cannabis Wyoming. Not a big deal, but amusing incongruous. They have a bar which fits Wyoming more closely.
