Cute little place. Nice big parking lot. We were the only people at first so we were quickly helped at the counter. I ordered an iced chai and a breakfast bagel. Once they were ready - we picked them up at the end of the counter and took them out to their patio to sit in the sun. The egg was filling. I did ask for cheese and didn't get it. Disappointed. I've been here twice now and have been let down by the experience each time. Today we ordered two coffee drinks and two breakfast sandwiches. We were there just after opening and they were out of croissants (for their croissant sans which one of the main breakfast items). The staff were unforgiving and not helpful in recommending other dishes. One of the dishes we ordered didn't even come out and I had to make a comment to the staff. Extremely bad food and overpriced. The staff were friendly, and cafe environment was lovely. The avocado toast tasted like it was made with a condiment packet. The vegetable frittata was so processed with a sprinkle of peppers on the top, so dry that to consume it I drowned it in salsa to I would not waste it. It is important for us to support our local business community but if they can't provide real food and quality coffee then it's best to stick with a chain like Starbucks - which would have been cheaper. read more

We thought this would be a nice place to stop on our way to Jackson, WY. Per Yelp reviews it was noted to have great coffee and good food, with one reviewer mentioning how good the quiche was, so we decided to give it a try. When we entered, there were two staff members behind the counter, neither acknowledged us for sometime. Finally, a third person entered from the back and took our order. The coffee was very good but the food items left a lot to be desired. Nothing is made fresh or to order. It is all premade and refrigerated or frozen requiring microwave or other means of heating. The quiche was roughly $10 for a slice. The crust was comparable to Pillsbury ready made pie crust and it was the best part, unfortunately. The quiche was supposed to be cheddar bacon - did not taste or see cheese or bacon. The eggs were so dry and rubbery I was not willing to do that to myself for $10 per slice, so I requested a different item. Staff happily replaced the quiche for a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I'm sorry to say it wasn't any better. It is served on a square biscuit/roll (?) with a big square chunk of egg that had the same rubbery consistency. I removed the egg but then found the sausage and bottom of sandwich were still cold - guessing not enough time in the microwave. The breakfast burrito was also a no go. Seemed like a grocery freezer type burrito that was microwaved and then put on a panini press with a side of what tasted like Tostitos salsa. The burrito was also $10. We spent $36.00 for two breakfast single items (not meals), a muffin and two coffees. Very pricey for grocery grade freezer food. Would not eat here again - would buy the coffee again but that's it. They need to overhaul the menu with some quality made food items. read more

I found this little cafe one morning while working in Cheyenne .I have always enjoyed vanilla lattes but have found most places including the well known chain to taste bitter and burnt. This place has the best vanilla latte that I have had and I travel across the audited states often. The staff are always pleasant, sweet, and I have never heard of an order being wrong. I stopped as often as I was in the area and the staff began to recognize my vehicle when I pulled into the parking lot and would start my order for me..That is truly a sign of how much they get to know their customers u like the other places. I will miss these ladies when I leave and can only wish and pray for their continued success. I think they will miss the butterflies, flowers and hearts..I encourage the citizens of Cheyenne to support this local business. Love the ambiance, but the music is a major issue. It's way too loud, making it hard to have a conversation or focus. The playlist often feels more like a club than a coffee shop--aggressive rap and high-energy tracks that don't fit the vibe. Lowering the volume or switching to more relaxing music (instrumental, jazz, or acoustic) would make a huge difference. Hope management takes this into consideration! read more

I've been living in Cheyenne for almost one year, and I'm so mad at myself for not having tried Central Cafe sooner! Everything about my experience today was wonderful. The staff greeted me when i walked in, and they were so kind and helpful when i mentioned i had never been here before. I felt comfortable chatting with them and asking questions about the menu. They gave me suggestions and recommendations and explained that they get their delicious coffee from a local, ethically-sourced coffee company in Fort Collins. The decor is so cute too! The marble table tops give it a classy feel, but it still feels very cozy cozy. It felt like you were just walking into the kitchen of a friend who has great style! There's an outdoor area that i can't wait to take advantage of when the weather is warm. I ordered a dirty chai latte, and their espresso is really good. It's flavorful and smooth and really complemented the flavors of the chai. The barista double checked that i was okay with 2% milk and asked if I'd like some cinnamon to spice it up, and i loved it! My breakfast sandwich was delicious! The croissant was freshly baked with the perfect mix between soft and flaky. The garlic aioli was my favorite part of the sandwich. I was told that it's made here in Cheyenne at their sister company and brought over to the shop. It definitely tasted fresh and homemade. It's taken me almost a year to try out this cafe, but I'm glad that i did. It's going to be a regular stop for me from now on! read more

Some of the tastiest coffee in town! I personally can't recommend their Central Latte enough, it's a triple blend of chocolates but not too rich, just right. Their breakfast croissant ham sandwich is also massive and comes with you choice of a few spreads like garlic aioli or a zestier alternative. Consider trying one, you may like them! Atmosphere inside is cozy and clean, and the baristas are friendly and attentive. It's a great place to meet up and chat over a hot cup of coffee or to read a book and enjoy your brunch. Central cafe does it right and I found the prices fair for it he service, quality and selections offered. Plus- they have a drive through! read more

This shop is really cute and I've been several times since it's in my neighborhood; however, I don't really think they make the best coffee or drinks in general. I've tried iced coffee with pumpkin spice, the chai latte, and the London fog. All have been mediocre at best. The atmosphere is very modern and nice, and it's also perfectly clean. The service is okay, there are also several baristas and you get your order quickly. I've never felt especially welcome or have even been greeted at the door honestly. It really irks me when someone at the register says "what?" Instead of "sorry?" Or "excuse me?" When they mishear me. Just a personal little thing I suppose.... read more

The food here was incredible, I got the breakfast burrito and my friend got the turkey and avocado sandwich. If you put hot sauce or garlic aïoli on the breakfast burrito, it makes it incredible, but it is just fine on its own, the food was all amazing. I used to come here, the food & coffee was great. I moved & haven't been back in about a year until today. Sadly, it was quite underwhelming & disappointing. Every place I've ordered avocado toast at serves it as a large, thick piece of toast, with a ton of avocado, and generous toppings. I paid $8 for it here, and it was a very small, thin slice, with barely any "squeezed" avocado on it, despite the fact I asked for extra avocado. I've tried giving this place a fair shot 4-5 times given its close proximity to the office I work at, but I have been disappointed every time. The coffee shop is brand new, but the first couple of weeks the staff was incredibly slow and inefficient. They had soup on the menu, but no burner to warm them. I attributed that to them being new and still getting things stabilized, but having continued to go there, weeks later, they have not yet stepped up their game. It takes them a good 15 minutes to create their version of avocado toast, which is nothing close to what one has in mind when ordering avocado toast. It's actually quite sad and not worth what you pay for. They say their long waits are because they "create everything fresh".... well so does Subway and they don't take decades. The food is really nothing spectacular, pretty average at best.... I asked the girl how fresh the cinnamon rolls they had displayed in their case were (at about 4:30pm) , and she said "they came in from Colorado yesterday". Yeah, really want to eat day-old pastries! While the decor is nice and modern, the shop runs has a very amateur mentality in terms of customer service (with high school kids running the show that are very lackluster in their attitude). I'll be returning to the Starbucks a mile and a half away, even though they don't have a fresh market, you're better off going to Egg & I down the street if you want real avocado toast (or pretty much anything else). Update: June 2018 As if this place wasn't already struggling, they decide to slash 2/3 of their food menu! The only reason I even thought it was worth going to- they've taken off their savory toasts and some of the decent stuff they had originally. Their puffins or whatever are like someone accidentally put pancake batter without any sweet element into a muffin tin. They're pretty terrible....but points for innovation? Can't say I'm surprised that it's not doing well. Maybe they can start by trying not taking eons to make an espresso drink. Beautiful and nice café with an amazing staff. The café is small and very clean with nice décor and seating. There is an outdoor patio for those nicer (and less windy) Cheyenne days. My only complaint on this visit was the quality of my muffin. I ordered the blueberry muffin and requested it be warmed. Now, I'm not sure if the barista took a muffin from the display case or the fridge but it was ice cold in the center with only the outer edges being warm. My friend's Belgian waffle dish was somewhat of a mushy mess but the flavor was okay. These minor issues will not prevent me from visiting in the future because, like I said, their options are good and the place is wonderful with a friendly staff. read more

Excellent coffee and wonderful food! The place is really nice and cute inside. They have breakfast and and lunch items. I've had the Grilled Cheese Panini. It comes with homemade chips and some greens. The chips were perfectly crispy. The greens had some seasoning on them. I don't know what it was but it made them taste really good. The panini came with a strawberry (I think) compote. I wouldn't normally think to have that with a cheese panini but it went so well with it. Loved it.
