I cannot recommend Epic 4x4 Adventures enough. If you want to go on an off roading adventure- choose this one!! You get to drive your own UTV in some of the most awesome off roading spots Moab has to offer (you'll be totally hooked after too). The guide is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and guides you through everything. We had an absolute blast! I did a lot of research before selecting them and I am so glad I did- will 100% do another tour next time I'm in Moab. We did the Gateway to Hell's Revenge and Fins and Things

We booked the sunset UTV tour of Hell's Revenge with Epic 4x4 Adventures and could not have had a better time. Naturally, the scenery is Epic (pun intended) but it was our guide, Landon, who made the event a stellar experience. First, and foremost, Landon was all about safety and he demonstrated that obsession throughout the event. He gave precise directions for negotiating treacherous terrain through the headsets we all wore that kept everyone intact and out of danger. Each UTV had plenty of chilled water and Landon had several planned stops where we could take in majesty of Moab. This was the highlight of our visit to Moab and we highly recommend both Epic and Landon!

We did the Poison Spider tour with Travis this morning. It was incredible! We had an amazing time. Travis coached each "car" through the hairiest of obstacles, offering clear direction and positive support each time. The route was challenging and incredibly fun; the RZR and a great guide makes even amateurs into professionals. And the scenery was beautiful. A really special trip. 12/10 would do again and recommend.

Our adventure to Hell's Revenge and Fins & Things was a blast from start to finish. Our guide, Foley, was a very skilled driver. He was attentive, instructional and made the safety of our group his #1 priority. The drive was technical and very challenging. The scenery was other-worldly. A few things to note: this company is so safety-conscience that they utilize a headset system where each 4X4 is in constant communication with our guide (while on the trail, we saw that this is not always the case with other 4X4 tour companies); helmets and goggles were provided; our guide brought plenty of water for the group; we were on the move for most of the adventure, with limited stops; be aware that the 4X4's are very loud; and, if you are prone to motion sickness, consider taking an over-the-counter medication like Dramamine before you start your drive. Will I go back to Epic 4X4 for another adventure? Absolutely. Thank you, Foley, for a wonderful experience!

What a fun day at Hell's Revenge! Josh was a great guide and having him in our ear every step of the way giving great instructions on how to tackle each part of the trail was very reassuring not only for my husband driving but for me the rather nervous passenger! While we are experienced off-road UTV owners we were not familiar with the kind of trails at Hell's Revenge. Josh made it feel easy to navigate the terrain and most of all made it a safe and fun ride for all! I would recommend a guided tour with Epic 4x4 Adventures for anyone experiencing Moab for the first time and who wants to get a taste of Hell's Revenge with experts along for the ride.

This was such a great decision. It was so much fun. A guide leads the pack while you drive your own UTV and follow. They make it so you have space for fun, especially if you haven't done it before. They guide you exactly how to get up and down the rocks. This is a beginners intro into rock crawling. I didn't look into it a lot before, so I was pleasantly surprise with our activity for the evening. Highly recommend going during the evening ride when it's closer to sunset. Such pretty golden hour and sunset views.

Had a great time doing the sunset 4x4 drive on Hell's Revenge and Fins & Things with Gavin. My wife and I alternated driving, we got out of the 4x4 at a couple spot for canyon and Colorado River views, and had a lot of fun. Bottled water and snacks (eg Cheetos, Oreos, etc) included. read more

This is truly an EPIC adventure!!!!! Our guide Tim took us on an awesome 4 hr SxS tour up Poison Spider trail - WOW...This is such a crazy cool spot and the ride is an awesome machine..handles the ups and downs with ease and the great instruction from Tim got us through safely and with smiles on our face and great memories in our minds!!! Let me start by saying from the moment we called to make our reservation they were so sweet and courteous, We arrived 1/2 hour early, we were doing the sunset adventure! Highly recommend it!! We were given all safety instructions Met Scott our guide...., we wish we could give him and Epic 4x4 10 stars ...... We (my husband and I) had the most EXCELLENT time on our tour with our guide Aaron. We did the u-drive extreme 3.5 hour tour. It ended up just being us and our guide. We did some amazing rock climbing and scenic routes. Aaron was friendly, helpful, and really fun! We felt every amount of $$ spent on this was so worth it and we'd do it again! My wife and I booked the sunset Hell's Revenge tour. It is a guide led trip and all participants (or pairs such as in my case) drove their own 4x4 vehicle. The tour description doesn't even come close to describing how awesomely fun this tour was. It was hands down the best activity of our trip and only came second to the beautiful natural landscape. The enjoyment of this tour was certainly attributable to our guide, Kevin. He was excellent at instructing newbies like us to the thrilling world of extreme 4x4 driving. We drove up and down nearly vertical rock faces and climbed narrow paths with sheer drop offs on both sides. As dangerous as I'm sure it could be, Kevin was great at explaining every sequence of maneuvers so that we always felt safe and confident. Kevin also took time to walk us off path to see some breathtaking views that we would have otherwise missed- he even showed us some preserved dinosaur tracks. As I don't plan to purchase one of these expensive high performance 4x4 vehicles, this was a once in a lifetime experience for us and I absolutely recommend this tour and Kevin as your guide. read more

The company is aptly named. We had an epic tour with Tim. Super knowledgeable, real professional, not just a summer job guide. 4x4 manufacturer engineers come to the epic drivers for advice on how to build better side by sides. We did hell's revenge. Went back for a second time. Still great service. We got to Moab after being flooded out of Yellowstone. Called Jennifer to see if there were any tours available that day as we were leaving the next day-but they were all booked up. But Jennifer said to let her check on getting us on a tour driving one of their side-by-sides. She called a little later and said we were booked. Had a great time driving on trail and guides were really helpful and very concerned about our safety. Great service again! read more

There was 2 couples aged 66 to 71 so with Jennifer's help we chose the X3 experience. We had two X3 cars, one for each couple plus driver. We had a freaking great time. Both John and Gavin were excellent driving and talking about he area, the cars and were just great guys. We never were scared but were definitely thrilled. If we make it back to Moab we will definitely hook up with Epic. We even got a great tip for dinner. Great folks with a great product. read more

My wife and I booked a last min sunset tour through hells revenge and fins and things. Landon, our guide made sure we were comfortable and was extremely thorough explaining everything about the vehicle. I have been in a few tours and I could definitely say Landon was /is one of the best guides we have ever had, noticed during one of our stops for photos there were a few people climbing up hells gate and he made sure he found us a good spot to watch. read more

What a trip! From the booking process, equipment, the actual tour and (last but definitely not least) the tour guide, Scott, were all absolutely incredible. The UTV's were straight up carazy and were clearly the better vehicles on any tour. The other UTV's looked like golf carts! If you go on this tour, you MUST have Scott as your tour guide. He was equally knowledgeable about the trail and the history but knew how to have boat loads of fun. When it got serious, he told you to stay tight left and follow the buggie ahead of you but when things lightened up, it was time to hammer the sand and he definitely let you know. Scott is not only a tour guide, but also a friend and brother now. Epic 4x4 adventures and Scott will always have a place in my heart. read more

That's was one of the most amazing experiences I have had in a long time. I could not believe where we were driving and how organized the experience was. A few weeks ago I was in Moab and stopped again at my favorite place Epic 4 x 4 adventures and I ask for Tim because i always do. I had five of us and we had a wonderful time. Tim is a great tour guide and really knows how to get us through that sand and up on those fins and all over slick rock. It was a fabulous time I recommend this place highly I've used it about five times and I'll go back again as soon as I'm in the area. Tim you did a great job thanks again. The G-kids loved it too. Incredible experience! My gf and I did the 3.5 hour Hells Revenge guided tour and had an absolute blast. We had our own buggy and were guided by Jaso. If you do go, request Jason! Funny, skilled, and made the experience so much fun. Going up and down 45 degree inclines and narrow obstacles, and ripping it through desert dunes. Highly recommended on a day off from hiking! read more

WHAT A COMPLETE BLAST!!! Joe's Mega Buggy is NOTHING like we have EVER seen and this was a highlight of (5) days of shear JOY in Moab! Joe was a COMPLETE PLEASURE and we always felt safe with his clear driving and communication skills while we went up & down INSANE obstacles! Although it was a bit pricy it was WELL WORTH IT and we look fwd to do'n it again w/ our adult children. On a side note, this MONSTER TRUCK (I mean Mega Buggy) can steer from the back which, in itself, was very cool and allowed him to steer on a dime ... plus it was much fun driving down some of the roads/trails nearly sideways! =) And after seeing how completely professional Joe was and is we look fwd to going back to experience his side by side buggies (with our kids and their spouses). Thanks Joe (& Jennifer) for an opportunity that we still talk about and enjoy long after we've been home! We look fwd to enjoying your awesome experiences again (and again!) read more

The whole process from booking to the end was an amazing experience. We had to add an extra person to our trip and they were amazing with accommodating our needs. The lady at check in was very friendly. Jason was our guide, he was amazing, very friendly and made the trip memorable and took many pics for our group of 9. The is a must do trip!! This was so cool. The vehicles are top notch. The trail was amazing. The view are unbelievable. Guide owns the company and was awesome and super nice. Has 25 years experience so it was both exciting/thrilling but also safe and fun. 10/10 recommend. Very awesome read more

My kids and I went on the UTV experience today. It was so amazing! Gavin, our guide, was helpful and totally made sure we had an exciting time. This was our first time in UTVs but Gavin explained everything and we were able to follow his lead. My fiancé and I had an absolute blast with Epic 4x4!!! We took a day trip with our guide Tim to Poison Spider trail, and I would highly recommend it. Great obstacles, open higher speed areas and fantastic views. Tim was extremely knowledgeable, and kept us safe on our off road adventure. The process from booking to a hand shake at the end of the trip was extremely friendly and welcoming. If anyone is looking to book a SxS adventure here in Moab I would without a doubt book here!!!!! read more

Epic 4X4 Adventures delivered an outstanding experience today for my group of 4 friends. They were easy to find and very welcoming. They even helped our friend set up his GoPro. They did a good job calming the nerves of one of our party. Our leader/guide was Tim. He provided a thorough overview of the 4x4 vehicles - including what sets their 4x4s apart from others. Once we hit the road and saw the vehicles other tour groups were using we knew he was right! These vehicles have amazing features that make the whole experience safer and more robust - from the grippy tires on up. Tim took good care of all of us, watching carefully to make sure the drivers were able to navigate every twist, turn, cliff and edge we encountered and also made sure it was fun at the same time. If you want to have excitement and thrills while at the same time the assurance of excellent guidance and outstanding vehicles then Epic 4x4 Adventures is for you. read more

First, their computers went down when we were first there, and they handled it like a pro. You sign waivers, show id, pick out a cup, pick out a helmet, watch a video. Large group of us- always made sure we knew what was happening next, slowed down enough to enjoy the views (and take pics), watch the skilled locals navigate some areas, but also keeping it exciting on our own adventure. You first drive in a line to the course (Hells Revenge- and get some history), complete a practice course, then drive into the real deal. Wasn't sure what to expect, this is something you should not miss. Super fun, and a great use of trip time. And the views...spectacular. Great service, great experience, lots of laughs.

The staff was very helpful and helped us deciding a great route. The balloon ride was incredible! Hiking is great, but seeing everything from the top was just spectacular. Not many places you can ride a balloon near a National Park. The crew was great and our pilot was very knowledgeable and full of interesting stories. We felt Moab Adventure Center took care of us and made our experience in Utah very special.

We were going to rent our own side by side and find our way around but following a guide was a great experience. Even if you have ATV/UTV knowledge, you don't know the course or direction. It made it nice to watch Aaron navigate through an area and know we could do it too. I would definitely wear a face buff for the sand. Goggles and water are supplied free of charge. You start off in town at their shop and drive through town to the course. Would highly recommend!

Fine if you just want to save money, but not ideal for comfort or overall experience. I've rented UTVs in Moab several times over the years, including guided tours, private tours, and self rentals, so I have a good baseline for comparison. The main advantage of this place is the price. It was noticeably lower than other rental companies in town, which is ultimately why I chose it. However, in this case, you do get what you pay for. I rented a 4 door Polaris for a full day, and the vehicle quality was significantly below what I've experienced elsewhere in Moab. The suspension felt very rough. You could feel every bump and rock, which made the ride uncomfortable and at times left us feeling sore and even a bit nauseous. Trails that are typically enjoyable, like Fins n Things, felt much harsher than they should. In comparison, other UTVs I've rented handled similar terrain much more smoothly. This vehicle also appeared to have worn tires and needed an alignment. Another factor to consider is the location. The shop is about 15 minutes south of downtown Moab. While that may not sound like much, it does add up, especially if you are paying by the hour. More importantly, you have to drive on a public highway to get into town, and the vehicles do not have windshields. That stretch can be extremely cold and very windy, which made the ride back and forth pretty uncomfortable. Overall, this could be a fit if your top priority is saving money and you are okay with a more basic experience. But if comfort, vehicle quality, and overall experience are important to you, there are better options in Moab worth considering.

We took the Hell's Revenge tour with Les and it was absolutely incredible! He was beyond amazing, like a real-life video game narrator guiding us through every twist, climb, and descent. My husband drove first with one of our kids in the front, while I sat in the back with our other child. We switched around throughout the ride, which kept things fun and exciting for everyone. I was nervous about driving, but near the end, Les encouraged me to give it a shot and promised he'd coach me through every move. He kept his word, and I'm so glad I did it! It was thrilling and empowering. The company itself was top-notch. A friendly staff member called a few days ahead to remind us about the waivers and let us know they'd provide a cooler stocked with plenty of water and light snacks, which they did. From booking to arrival, everything ran smoothly. The entire staff was welcoming, funny, and genuinely kind. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the area. Had the best time at Epic 4X4 Adventures! Searching for some off-roading to do with the family for spring break and this place looked the best. The UTV's were legit, 2-seat Kawasaki KRX 1000. Our tour guide Landon was great! Very patient teacher and very funny. Went on Hell's revenge, the views were stunning and the path was epic. Felt safe the whole trip but had a blast. If your headed to MOAB. This is a must do!We had a blast today in the mega buggy. All The Equipment was top notch. The buggy it self was unstoppable. The views were breathtaking. We had a blast over all of the obstacles. Our guide today was Joe. He was great, super knowledgeable and just a great guy. I highly recommend this if your in the MOAB area. We ended up booking a second day on side x sides can't wait for tomorrow. read more

Our family of five had an amazing adventure! Landon, the tour guide was funny and entertaining. He was very kind as well, offering to help with a hand to get up or down a rock. The stops we made were so beautiful. The lady that answered the phone, I didn't catch her name, was wonderful too. Answering all our questions. And our helmet fitting guy was quick and helpful. Went straight for Hells Revenge tour on a Monday and by Friday we were back for the Poison Spider Tour! Both tours kicked ass and Josh was a fabulous tour guide!
