French Toast Sticks with Turkey Bacon and Fruit

The food is Good! The Ambiance is Well! And the Service was cool!, I liked Eola General's newest food

I finally made it to this adorable downtown general store! The rustic aesthetic is charming, and they had a cute seasonal menu with slightly over the top drinks. Even with a short line, the service was a bit slow, but the seasonal mocha latte made the wait entirely worth it. Space is tight inside, so plan on grabbing a spot on the patio! There's lots of fans and shade so no reason to worry about the heat

Every time I am in Orlando I make sure to stop here for a bagel because I wholeheartedly believe these are some of the best bagels in Florida! They're so soft and flavorful and you can't go wrong with any of their cream cheese options. They have an extensive array of vegan options as well. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. The seating area outside overlooks such a warm neighborhood and is a great place to meet with friends.

This place is so nice! Good coffee, bagels, and outside atmosphere. I recommended it to some of my friends and came back the next weekend. I got a ricotta cream cheese and it tasted more like cinnamon, which didn't go well with my asiago bagel, but the avocado toast with goat cheese was delicious!

Seriously one of my favorite places in downtown, maybe even in general. soooo delicious and the sweetest staff always. The vibes make u feel like you're living your best day while you're there. I always (and never have i ever steered away) get the Eola Turkey Club on a vegan everything bagel with vegan garlic chive. Always hits and never misses. last night i also went to a wine tasting and it was amazing, my friend and i had a blast. Matt was awesome and was super knowledgeable about all of the wine we tried:) pls come here if u love yourself!

I've had this place bookmarked forever, I wish I would've visited sooner. I rarely give anywhere 5 stars, but this place is worthy. This place is awesome, cozy and quaint and right now it has all the holiday feels. Theres indoor and outdoor seating and you can order anything from wines, beers, coffee to sandwiches and soups. I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to go back. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and answered all questions and gave good suggestions. They have a happy hour $4 glass of wine at 4pm, $5 glass at 5pm and $6 glass at 6pm. You can't be it! I tried the tomato soup and grilled cheese and it was bomb!! I loved my entire experience here and if you're in the area you should definitely stop in.

I absolutely love this place. This is a true neighborhood gem. I hope it never closes. Food selection is great and accommodate a vegan diet. Kind service. Chill ambience and LGBTQ+ allies.

i just love being here! been a frequent flyer for years. i enjoy all of their sandwiches, sweet treats, coffees & toast!!! i sometimes will come here to read, or have a meeting or add a book to the book box they have. i don't live in Eola but if i did... i'd be here every single day! i also want to highlight the staff. they're always so kind & courteous. as well as the owner Robin who's always so friendly! megan is my favorite as she always takes excellent care of me while i'm here. you can tell the people here are happy & care about this place a lot! i don't own a dog but there are fur friends all over the place. so very much a dog friendly environment! lastly, i'm a slut for lox bagels & EG is the only place that i know to get them. that's my favorite thing on the menu. hands down. no question. you need to experience this place. ya gotta trust me. kindly, GTB

Eola General is a quaint little spot nestled in the Lake Eola Heights neighborhood. I've always wanted to go to this spot and finally did! To be honest.. I was really intrigued by their Sunrise Bagel on Uber Eats. It looked sooo good that I thought it would be best to experience first hand We went on a Friday morning and it wasn't too busy. Folks were studying, catching up with friends, had their kids on the patio, even someone with their pooch outdoors. It had all walks of life here which I loved. Now - the food! This is a fast-casual, order at the counter and take a number type of dining experience. We started with the sangrias which were great, just your standard sangria. I will say I wasn't a fan of the cold brew coffee - the flavor of the coffee itself I think was just too bitter for me. But! The food was great. The sunrise bagel was awesome - I chose an Asiago Bagel with a Jalapeño Pimento Cheese spread with all the other fixings it comes with and it all worked soooo well together. You have the options of their house-made kettle chips with a chilli lime salt or their pasta salad! Either one were good honestly, but I really liked the chips! Totally recommend this local and quite hidden gem for a breakfast, lunch, brunch type of vibe.

Flower child toast

Every time I come I get the flower child toast with goat cheese added. Carlos made it today and it was like a religious experience it was so good! Thank you to the staff always, but especially to Carlos tonight!

FLOWER CHILD TOAST (V)

The flower child avocado toast is interesting, because I can't tell you whether the taste or the presentation was better. It was sooo freaking adorable with the flowers on it. Eventually, they came off and eggs were added on top instead. There were some nice grains on top of the avocado and it wasn't your cookie cutter piece of avocado toast. I sat in the outdoor patio and although it was hot out, it was a pleasant space, with people bringing their dogs and family for a nice weekend lunch. There were a lot of other food options I was interested in, and I wanted to get a coffee but I already had picked a separate place to go for coffee. I'll just have to come back and try their other stuff!

I just moved downtown and Eola General is such a cute spot! Eola General is hidden away behind Lake Eola and it's a great restaurant for a lunch and coffee. Their coffee syrup list is very large, I ordered the spiced brown sugar and it was delicious. The service was very quick and the prices were great. Definitely coming back here.

The aesthetics and atmosphere of this restaurant / wine bar is very Mediterranean / south of France which I adorrrrred especially since I'll be there this summer. There's an outside seating area with a water fountain and umbrellas for all the vibes and shade to enjoy a brunch or day with the girls or even a date. Inside is elegant just as well with lovely art pieces, decor and lighting. They just started doing brunch on Sundays when I went so it was nice to experience it and see their curated menu. When I made the reservation I requested a scenic ambiance spot which they had the perfect table for me and my server Erin surprised me with a complimentary glass of bubbles, I assume the prosecco which was such a treat being to start off my birthday lunch! I had some main goals of YES and I NEED, which was a nice bottle of wine, those gorgeous blue and white printed plates, the blue crab cannoli, and the ousters. All of which I received in the best presentation possible. The team at Lorelei even made my lunch ever so special by serving everything on those plates along with enhancing my blue crab cannoli with caviar on the top instead of the regular fish eggs that are placed which I was just full of joy and happiness seeing how special they surprised and customized my dishes for me! The bottle of Sauvignon blanc also a perfectly complimented my oysters as well as the cannolis. Overall, Lorelei did not disappoint me and met all of my expectations and desires with the perfect birthday lunch with my favorite besties! I can't wait to come back again for some small bites and tapas or even experience the wine tasting events they hold!

I understand they have have 100 open bottles hanging around waiting for someone to order a glass. I assume (and hope) that the by the glass options change frequently. While speaking to staff I was informed of the full food menu that is available after 5 pm. I just had to see how they did with Cacio e pepe and wow I was surprised. This is a basic dish but it was executed perfectly. I certainly will be back again soon to order that again. I would take someone else who would enjoy but while they like Pasta they don't do wine. I did see they have some "mocktail" type drinks but maybe 1 or 2 soda or seltzer options might be nice to allow more people to enjoy.

My husband got the sausage gravy, which he liked. He said the flavors were more complex than your usual sausage gravy. My other friend got the French toast which she enjoyed very much. Came in late night just to check out their $10 Monday martinis. There was limited options to just a plain or dirty vodka or gin martini. No other variations or anything else from their cocktail menu was part of this deal. Blue cheese stuffed olives were a dollar a piece and tasted great but don't think I needed the 3 that was automatically given. They did seem hand stuffed with fresh blue cheese instead of the already made kind so it tasted better than most Having been to a few of their other Good Salt group restaurants, this definitely had their signature touch with all the details and the delicious menu. I like checking out all their locations. Another one of restaurant was a few doors down The server forgot my simple request for ice and lemons in the beginning when ordering just water. She also didn't check on us after dropping off the drinks and had to get someone else nearby for more olive juice when my dirty martini seemed to have missed the dirty part. Getting the check seemed to be a task, no server in sight, and had to grab another employee to ask for it From just ordering waters and martinis, service was quite lacking. I get that it was a slow night but maybe tending to the only table around should have been an easy task and being a little more tentative for the few times a server was needed would have gone a long way

The interior kinda has a hipster-rustic vibe but with more comfortable chairs. Prices seemed reasonable. I got a cheese board, truffled fries, fried chicken caviar, and a deviled affogato for dessert. My date for the creste di gallo and the olive oil citrus cake. Everything was was very good, with the standout being the fries; I know that truffle essence flavor isn't for everyone but it worked really well for me in the fry sauce. My dates pasta was also very good, the pesto sauce was zesty and complimented it well. And I really like the olive oil cake with mascarpone, super light and perfectly sweet. The very minor issues were that the fried chicken was pretty deeply fried and way harder than expected, which I don't mind but may not be your thing. Devil's food cake at the bottom of the affogato was also not as sweet as I would have liked. Overall a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend.
