I told a friend to pick a place for her birthday lunch and she chose Enzo. She wanted to try it out since they offer AYCE. The AYCE is $28.99 a person and you can only pick items from the highlighted " yellow" columns on the menu. However, you don't have to do all you can eat. We were seated quickly and the service was ok. As there was only once server and one cook. Besides us, there were two other tables and we saw how long the wait for the food was the food so went ahead and ordered everyone at once. We started off with the cucumber salad and that was a BIG hit!! It was so good and refreshing. The sauce crabmeat and the sauce they had in there was so good we ordered another one. We just went ahead and ordered all the appetizers. ( forgot to take pictures of some) Takoyaki balls had no octopus . Of the four pieces that we got only one has one piece of octopus in it. You can't go wrong with shrimp tempura. The sauce was really good! The Shumai were also full of batter. The Gyzoa was just regular frozen ones you can get from grocery stores. The rest of the appetizer were just " ok" The sushi rolls had way too much rice and it was over powered with the eel sauce as you can see in the pictures. We probably took two bites from each roll and didn't finish it. As we tried to order more of the nigiri the server told just that we have to eat every that we ordered or else we will be charge an extra fee for leftovers. We ended up not ordering anything else. We told her we ate everything else and explained why we could not finish the rolls. She went to the chef and he agreed not to charge that additional fee. If in the area I would only cone back for the cucumber salad!

A small place with great food. The sushi has been fresh every time we come. There is one waitress/hostess she does it all & doesn't miss a beat. My son loves the Enzo fried rice with chicken, shrimp, & steak. My go to is the steak fried rice. They use fresh vegetable you can taste the difference it makes. The place is always clean. The dish-ware is beautiful too. A 5 star place overall

Rotten avocados in sushi! By the time my family and I realized, we had -unfortunately- consumed most of it ! Hope we don't get food poisoning ! I mentioned the issue to the chef (owner?) he offered a 10% discount ..?? Thanks, but no thanks. I paid the full bill and thanked him for the rotten avocados he served my kids, wife, and myself...what else could we do? Wonder why the prices are low ?? Truth is, you get what you pay for.

We ordered the sushi and sashimi combo and presentation was nice. The quality seems to have decreased but the sushi and sashimi remains decent, nonetheless. Service was good and a great option for dine-in or takeout.

We had the food to go. It was the first time trying it from this place. The young lady who took the order was super nice and the service she provided was exceptional! My daughter and I really enjoyed the foods. They were fresh, the udon noodle was cooked just right and the broth was really good.

Limited parking by the restaurant, however plenty walking distance. It is in the same shopping plaza as Kohl's. We ordered to go. Even though our order was taken fairly quickly, we had to wait about 25 mins before our food was ready. Bento box: the chicken was a bit dry. The California rolls were good and tasted fresh. The fried rice and veggies were typical. The house salad that it came with didn't look as fresh and the dressing was meh. Shrimp shumai: tasted a bit starchy, not sure if it's because we didn't eat it right away. Gyoza: tasted pretty good, but I did not like the dipping sauce. Overall it was okay, but for the price I would have wanted more. Probably wouldn't be my go to place.

My folks and I dropped in for lunch. My mom likes the place and I'm always agreeable with Japanese food. The decor has a clean modern vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful. On the day I stopped in the kitchen was short staffed but food got out quickly anyway. I tried the chicken teriyaki lunch. It was ok. The chicken was a bit over cooked likely due to the sushi chef doing the cooking. It was still tasty. The lunch came with soup or salad, veggies a choice of rice and a side of California roll. Prices are good at lunch.

I waited for them to reopen after closing to in door dinning for a while! They offer the best sushi and sashimi combination plate I have seen in many years of venturing to Japanese restaurants! The young lady serving me looked new and green, yet absolutely pleasant! She warned me about my sake being extra hot, and blushed after giving me the menu and immediately asking 'are you ready to order?' We both laughed and she gave me time to look at their new menu! In my 3 decades of travel and dinning out, I have never felt like tipping someone more than recommended! If you are in the area, drop by, you will not be disappointed! The affordable price of $23 fir a combination plate is a steal! Other restaurants charge upwards of $40 fir this!

Just needed to refresh this review. I upgraded the stars. The sushi chef is terrific!! I also found out in lieu of the Atlanta Falcons win, they are offering $1 sake or free kids meals (worth $5)! Pretty nice!!! I took my daughter here again. She loves their miso soup. And that alone is reason to come here. Their menu has lots of interesting rolls and the chef will make you any kind of roll you want if you don't see it on the menu. I tried the Cherry Blossom tonight and wow this specialty is colossal! I literally couldn't even finish it after already having the crab and avocado salad, which was also very good and tasted so fresh. The Cherry Blossom has a base of sticky rice with a layer of spicy tuna and then all kinds of goodness inside it topped with fresh avocado and yummy sauces. They have a spicy mayo and then there's a SPICY mayo. The latter actually got my attention. I can't believe how filling it was. I'm a fan! The prices are also great for the Johns Creek area. For my crab salad, glass of wine, lemonade, side of rice, miso soup, and side of avocado plus my Cherry Blossom and tax, it was just under $30. Wow!!! I am definitely putting this place in my circle of go-to spots. Seriously worth checking out. And take advantage before the Super Bowl!

I came here last night, based off word of mouth. It sits in the shopping center with Sprouts and Kohls, just before the McGinnis Ferry intersection on Peachtree Pkwy (141). Enzo is out of sight and not noticeable from the highway from any direction. In fact, it's almost hidden in plain sight, thanks to The L shaped shopping center it resides in with a few other businesses. Parking is tight. I actually had to park in the larger parking lot outside of the complex. Other than, it was amazing from there on out. I've lived in and around Johns Creek the past 2+ years and never knew about this place (or the Mexican restaurant next to it). I was shocked to hear they had been open for 2 years. We went in and sat at the bar. Bar patrons beware, I barely got my legs under the bar, so if you're larger (I've got runner legs) then it might be uncomfortable. There was an older sushi chef behind the bar and the owner. Don't underestimate this old guy, his stuff is amazing. I had the Miso soup, and it was just as good as Sushi Mania's, if not better. That bode well for what was to come. I also had their hot sake, which they had a Pre Super Bowl special on for $1!!! WHAT? That'll bring me back. I then ordered one of their special rolls, the Salmon Mania. Now here's where the real test begins. Presentation was great and the freshness of the roll .... Insane! It was so fresh and such a treat to finally find another fresh sushi place that's even cheaper than Sushi Mania. The wasabi had a kick to it as well. Truly, another hidden gem (literally)! Get your sushi loving butt over here and check them out!

Not really sure why this place wasn't packed on a Friday night. This is a gem in John's Creek. The service was great, the sushi was great, the hibachi was great, the atmosphere was great. Very family friendly environment. I really hope they stay open for a long time! read more

Despite its outward appearance, the interior of the place seems relatively high-end. I have been to various sushi places within Georgia, but I have got to admit that Enzo is one of my favorite sushi / sashimi places. And don't forget the special deal you can find in a famous couponing app that starts with a "G"... All in all, this place is simply my favorite restaurant. The sashimi sampler is literally amazing; high-quality sashimi for an extremely cheap price. If you like the rolls, I have tried almost half the menu so far and I can easily say that every single roll was great. If you like cheaper deals, you can also go during lunch time (which ends before 2:30) where they sell rolls at a special price. The service is parallel to the quality of this restaurant: Amazing. Most of the time, there are two young workers there that strive to make your stay a pleasant experience; they greet you with a smile and check up on you moderately. Would love to come back here again! read more

Horrible service! Ordered sushi and never received it, ordered hibachi and never received soup or salad. Food was mediocre. Sign out front said buy one entree, get one half off, Esther up front refused to give deal, said it didn't include hibachi, showed her sign clearly stating hibachi. She didn't care. Had to pay full price. read more

We have been coming here weekly for the past couple of months. The staff is super friendly and the food is to die for! Love their agedashi tofu and grilled calamari for apps. For sushi we got the cherry blossom (so freaking good) and sushi fever. We also got the enzo fried rice which is super delicious! The best part is the fried green tea ice cream. If you guys have not check this place out then you are missing out. read more

Best dining experience ever! They have great song selections, delicious sushi, rolls and hibachi food! The service was great, food was served quickly, the owners were very friendly and generous. Oh and not to mention, their desserts are awesome! Everyone should try out their blueberry jubilee ice cream. They make it every day from scratch and you can just taste the freshness of it! yum! The food prices are more than reasonable because their food is so much more flavorful delicious than any other restaurants! :) Go check them out! :) Good job, Enzo! Keep up the good work! read more

I used to be a weekly customer at the Sandy Springs location. I was so excited when they opened this location in John's Creek. The food is fresh and tasty and service is great. I prefer their spicy tuna roll $5.95 over any others in the neighborhood. Tried the Cherry Blossom $12.95 on my last visit and enjoyed it very much. My 9 year old son absolutely loves the chicken hibachi so we get him the dinner portion. The restaurant itself is as it should be for this area. Clean and with nice decor. Unless something changes I'll always be back. read more

Love this place! Probably the best we've had. The sexy trio was great but my fav is volcano. Never had one like this before. Our server was great & everything was so fresh. Typical non-Japanese owned faux sushi house that prioritizes squeezing as much profit out of each each item versus winning customer loyalty by doing a great job. Small expensive portions, typical grocery store rice instead of authentic "shari" sushi rice and cheap artificial crab used as a filler for many rolls. read more

I work nearby and have eaten here quite a few times but I wanted to wait to write a review because my first experience with them was uniquely great and I wasn't sure if each subsequent visit would live up to that. Not sure if that makes sense but let me explain. A few months back, I had a craving for sushi while at work and decided to forgo dinner and pick up sushi on my way home (I work 12 hr shifts and get off pretty late). I called Enzo pretty close to closing time and they happily took my order. On my way there...I get a flat tire. I wasn't too far (in the next shopping center over) but I knew I couldn't make it there before they closed (some good samaritans were helping me with my tire and it was taking a while). So I called them to cancel my order and the lady offered to bring my food to me...mind you, they don't deliver. I then explained to her that I didn't have cash so I would have to pay over the phone with my card, a courtesy they also did not normally offer at that time. Well that was amazing customer service and I have to say ALL of my subsequent dealings with them have been just as great. And the food is amazing! I've had their sushi and hibachi and both are delish! Check them out if you are ever in the area. read more

After looking at the reviews I decided to try the food here. I agree taste is subjective and varies among people. That being said, I am usually not that picky of a eater, but I was truly disappointed in the food. The miso soup tasted like the chef had amnesia and added salt TEN TIMES!! The amnesia miso soup also included EXACTLY TWO pea sized near molecular level cubes of tofu. I have to say I am impressed tofu can even be cut into cubes so small. Talk about being cheap, but at the same time wanting to be authentic. The sushi was average nothing too special, but at least he tried I guess, unlike the chefs in the kitchen. The takoyaki were tiny cold, shriveled wrinkly balls. Last of all the fried rice. To be honest I really don't think the chef knows what fried rice is? The "fried" rice was soggy just like rice mixed with soy sauce, but the most important part is, I think he didn't to fry it? The chicken and shrimp in the rice had a rough, over boiled rag-like texture. With the quality and the price of the food I definitely do not recommend this place. Save your tongue and tummy the horrible experiences and treat yourself to something higher end and tastier. One star for the interior I guess? (edit: Forgot to add this experience was in October of 2016.) read more

Speechless. Discovered this gem 5 days ago... been back FIVE times since then. AMAZING food, amazing service, best sushi in John's Creek/Alpharetta area HANDS DOWN!!! Must haves: Seafood Miso Soup, Surf-n-Turf, Dragon Roll, Spicy Trio, Spicy Scallop Hand Roll and all the nigiri/sashimi! Can't go wrong. Ever. read more

I have been coming here ever since they switched owners. They used to be very nice and remembered my order because I would stop by almost 2-3 times a week for their three roll combo with spicy salmon rolls. I had been away for the summer and upon my return, I came back to this establishment to extreme disappointment. My 10 minute waits for to go orders had now turned into well over 20 minutes after being promised a 15 minute wait. They had also changed the ingredients for their rolls. I continued to come back out of habit. Today, I ordered my usual and realized that I had not brought my wallet. Luckily, I found $13.06 in the car. I hoped that the manager, who has known me to be a regular customer would recognize me and let me either switch to the 2 roll combo or spot me 30 cents for next time. This time, they had a lady that I had never seen before working the store. As soon as I told her what happened she became very annoyed with me, ignored me, and left the counter. When she returned, she muttered under her breath saying "what is wrong with you" in korean. Surprise: i'm korean. Long story short, I left without my food. She tried to chase me down and miraculously speak to me after ignoring me inside. I told her to forget the food and that I would not return. It was a long time coming, but good bye. Please spend your money else where. read more

We got a bunch of things including the hibachi (steak and shrimp), Tomiyama chicken, pad Thai, and spring rolls. While everything was just mid, I have to call out the pad Thai and spring rolls. The pad Thai was so incredibly sweet, it tasted of ketchup. The spring rolls were definitely frozen, I could taste freezer in every bite. The sushi was ok, probably the best of everything. The hibachi chef was also very nice and did a great job with the "show". I have to say - the place was not clean either. I know it was probably busier than usual due to Eid, but everything was a little dirty - from dishes to the table to the thing you get your check in, they all had something gross on it. We were able to flag the staff down at some point to clean the table and dishes, but it still felt gross. Super disappointing experience. I was here about a year ago, I think their standards have dropped significantly.

Keep in mind that some items are included in the per-person price, while others come with an additional charge. For example, the fried ice cream dessert was $1 per serving on top of the AYCE cost. Not a huge deal, but worth noting. Now, onto the revolving sushi belt experience. The bottom belt is full of pre-made sushi, circulating around, while the top belt carries the sushi you've specifically ordered via iPad. This is where a few concerns come in. Since the pre-made sushi is constantly circulating, you don't always know if someone has fiddled with it. As for the iPad ordering system, it was placed up above the top sushi belt, which was a bit of a nuisance. It would have been easier to use if it was within arm's reach, but again, not a major issue. We opted to order items that would take time to prepare and came directly to our table, so we could avoid the pre-made conveyor. The fried ice cream dessert was great, tasty--but the spoon they gave me was dirty and sticky. It honestly felt like it had been used by a kid before being handed to me. Needless to say, I didn't use it. Service was solid. Our server was helpful, especially since it was our first time, and walked us through the process. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there are a few things that could be improved, particularly with cleanliness and the setup of the revolving belts.

Honestly, the sushi here is typical gas station/airport sushi - expensive, subpar, gross, and unhealthy. I ordered the cherry blossom roll, one that sounds pretty fancy and claimed from the waiter to be very popular and "good." However, the bed of rice the avocado sat on was hard and difficult to swallow and the avocado didn't even taste ripe. Overall, it was decent, but when it costed that much, they can at least give me good/cooked rice. I also ordered a Hibachi dinner entree and the fried rice straight up tasted like soggy rice and soy sauce. It didn't even look good, it looked like some kid chewed up his fried rice and then placed it on my plate. At least in many restaurants, the food was at least presentable. I asked for rare steak and I when I got it I wonder if the chef cooking is mentally okay. The steak was DEFINITELY not rare. It was full-on burnt cooked. The house ginger salad that came with it were by far the smallest portion I have got. Seriously? You call these five pieces of lettuce and two carrot shavings a salad??? Not to mention because there was so little lettuce, you could see how dirty and greasy the bowl is inside and when you touched it from the outside, you could literally leave fingerprints from all the grease.I'm just like do y'all not even do the dishes properly? I guess the only silver lining was the short wait of time, but it shouldn't be too difficult to churn out this bullshit quickly. I suggest you take a five minute drive to Kani House where at least their side salads have more than five pieces of lettuce and their miso soup doesn't taste like water and better quality sushi at similar prices. read more

This is a good place to eat lunch because it's cheap for bento boxes. They get quite busy so service is a bit slow but they do well despite this. Food is good and sushi is good l. Lunch bento boxes are cheap and rolls and entrees at dinner are bogo 50. Good food and good place! Def read more
