***FOOD: sushi was ok. had the bento box and the sushi was ok. miso soup was ok. went for lunch. All in all it was OK place. Family owned restaurant. ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $ $ Reasonable cost $25 for lunch ***DÉCOR: basic, restaurant quality wood chairs and bench booths, honestly it felt a little dirty. tables were grimy with some sort of sticky residue (maybe its the cleaner theyre using), floors looked a little dingy, dusty ceiling and lights ***SERVICE: server was ok ***RECOMMEND: OK. would go back if i'm in the area and craving some sushi

    Falcon Roll Dinner

Great sushi spot for takeout. The restaurant is very small and not much of a dine in experience. I ordered online via Doordash for pickup and my order was ready sooner than expected! I had the falcon roll which was very tasty and beautifully presented even for takeout. I savored every bite. The rolls cost between $15-20 but it's well worth it if a sushi craving hits.

Food was great! Our server was very attentive and quick with drinks and apps. My family loved the music here, too. We'll be returning!

I found this place through Yelp as I was in the area and craving sushi. It's a cute , small sushi restaurant. I was seated promptly and given menu. I tried super crunch roll, with cream cheese added per my request (extra charge). It came out about 7 minutes. The presentation was nice and taste was excellent. Great dining experience. I definitely will return.

My son and I were in search of a new sushi fix - many places are still take out only - Sushi Mio told us they needed 10 minutes to clean a table - so off we went. Appears to be a family run business, service was very friendly. A little slow, but there were 2 workers doing their best with several takeout orders going out. Appetizers were Agedashi Tofu and Tuna Muchi. The Agedashi was very pleasant (and a steal at the price), but I could make a meal of the Muchi - VERY good dish. We ordered 2 rolls - They were a little heavy, both fried rolls, but the quality of product was there. I certainly did not feel cheated, and it was well worth the drive.

So with all this quarantine stuff going on lately I haven't eaten out for about a month now so it was a nice change of pace when I ordered food from Sushi Mio for delivery. I ordered through Postmates and the food arrived in about thirty minutes so not a very long wait time. I ordered the fried rice, rainbow roll, and candy maki roll. The food was all around really good! The fried rice was very enjoyable although it was very plain with only carrots and onions I liked it a lot, definitely one of the better quality fried rices I've had in a while. The rainbow roll was great and so was the candy maki roll dinner which was very similar to the rainbow roll with the exception of spicy tuna in there with eel sauce (eel sauce was in a separate container that you get to put on the rolls). All in all I really liked their food and I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

Johns creek and red bull roll. Sauces were put into containers and we were not told to add them.

It makes me sad to write this review as we were excited to try this place out. We love trying new sushi places but this place let us down. We tried their sushi to go. The worker was nice and the food was ready in 15 minutes. Rolls are $13 to 15 on average which is a little more pricey but fair for quality sushi. We felt the ingredients sounded and looked great in combination and the presentation was lovely but the taste was off. Our sushi came with small sauce containers that confused us as we have never seen sushi come with anything else but soy sauce. We started eating our sushi and felt they all lacked flavor. After some investigating, we found out each roll came with certain sauces that were not on the sushi but put into these small containers. We eat sushi enough that we know what eel sauce and all these taste like so we were able to figure it out but I wish they had told us that they left the sauce off and which one to add which to (one required 2/3 sauces). It made a big difference in flavor to add the sauces but we were already half way through the meal when we added it. In addition to that, the fish tasted a little dry like it was older and the rice didn't taste fresh either. Overall, the experience was lackluster, especially for the price. I wonder if it was an off day but I read a few older similar reviews regarding the old taste. Disappointing. :/

Mio maki and yummy yummy rolls were very delicious. The fishes tasted fresh. The rice was at the right consistency and well seasoned. Good for takeout (lunch time).

Nothing fancy, but very fresh well prepared sushi. Inside of restaurant is small and lacks ambience, but the sushi was very good quality. If you're looking for a place to get sushi to go, I would definitely recommend it!

Ehhhhhh..... It was okay. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't all that great either. Their flip menu itself was so hard to read. There's so much on one page and it's all scattered with random stickers (???) placed next to the items it was just all over the place. Anyways, it was very empty when my friend and I came.. except for 1 lady, and there was 2 workers. I ordered the lunch combo 1. Idk i was expecting like normal roll sized?? idk. these were ITTY BITTY!!!! Also the bakery roll? I think that's what it was. It said "deep fried salmon & cream cheese". I was thinking deep fried salmon and cream cheese, not deep fried, (COMMA), salmon, & cream cheese. They need a comma there. I wasn't expecting the roll itself to be deep fried, but the salmon....... Also when the sushi chef was preparing our food he used the microwave....... NOT ONCE, but twice. I want my food to be fresh, not microwaved :( !!!! Must've been my volcano roll stuff which btw I didn't eat cause it tasted weird. Idk what else he microwaved? Anyways, my friends roll was normal sized and tasted pretty good. I guess I just didn't order the right thing. idk. I finished all my food cause i was starving, except for a piece of my spicy tuna roll which i also didn't enjoy too much. what kind of sauce do y'all put on top? It doesn't match. I normally love my spicy tuna rolls. Maybe i'll try something else since my friends roll was good. It's just my food wasn't all that great. :(

I learned about the place from Instagram - not sure if they still have the $10 lunch specials but that was the lure that got us to check it out. They are located in the same shopping as the Medlock Regal Cinema. CHICKEN KARAAGE COMBO - $10 The karaage was good. Came w/ a mayo-like sauce for dipping. Cabbage salad served as a starter - learned later that you can opt for the potato salad instead which we'll try next time. Combo also came w/ a miso soup which was delicious ... one of the best miso soups I've had! MINCED KATSU COMBO - $10 This was the highlight dish for sure. The katsu coating was perfection, and the pork inside was not at all what I expected ... it was minced and interesting tasting ... we loved it! Served w/ two sauces, and pickles. The menu is pretty straight forward, they offer different types of tonkatsu in a variety of sets. Each table also has a container for chili oil (not spicy, but more garlic flavored. Reminded me of the chili crisp), matcha salt, and spicy red pepper for the curry. We got: - shrimp head appetizer ($4) for like 12 pieces of fried shrimp heads. I love fried shrimp heads so this was an easy decision - chicken thigh tonkatsu set with extra side of curry: the curry was $3 extra and comes on the side. The set itself comes with miso soup and cabbage salad with a sesame dressing (you can sub it with potato salad). The salad is unlimited refills but the potato salad is not. The dressing needed salt so after adding some of the matcha salt, it was perfect. The curry was solid. The chicken thigh was super crispy and moist, it was the best cut of meat at the table (even among the premium tonkatsu). Would def get that again!! The set comes with 2 sauces, a standard sweet ish katsu sauce with a sliver of wasabi (?) that was perfect when mixed and yum yum sauce. - pork katsu don: the rice was great underneath. It was already seasoned and adding some matcha salt and chili oil made it even better. The pork was a bit dry but the outer fried part was crispy and good. The egg on the don was well cooked and delicious. Overall get the chicken thigh!!

Initially, entering the store was a bit off. The hostess didn't speak to me for about two minutes; she'd made the assumption I was with another party getting a pick up order. But after that was resolved, I was seated quickly. The store layout was nice; big booths with tall sides for privacy. I'm not sure if I liked how all their chopsticks were in a container you pulled from the table but overall a small detail. I did really like getting ice cold water and the metal carafe they provided kept the ice out of the drink. I went for their Aji Ramen and got the $10 3 handroll add on. My choices were unagi, toro, and spicy tuna. Shockingly they didn't have any spicy tuna do I chose a salmon instead. The hand rolls came out first and a pair of scissors were also provided if I wanted to cut them myself. Here are my thoughts: Toro - surprisingly bland. There wasn't the feeling of rich fatness that I expect with it though to be fair I am comparing this to a far higher end omakase experience. Needless to say, I wouldn't chose this again. Salmon - surprisingly good. This ended up being my favorite of the three. The salmon was nice and fresh and the soy sauce and wasabi made for tasty savor bites. Unagi - also good. I'm a sucker for eel. Because of the ponzu sauce, there's no need for soy sauce. I made a mistake of dipping a piece that I cut from the handroll and it was way too salty. Eaten as is, it was just what I expected Aji Ramen - a solid bowl of ramen. I was very pleased with the full egg and also the chashu pork. I don't know if I recall the bean sprouts but at $14, this was kind of a steal in terms of bang for buck. Plenty of food even by itself. All in all, I liked Aji-Katsu. I don't think I'd travel for it but if I was in the area and in the mood I would stop in again.

She gave us time to look over the menu. The food was very good. Very fresh and tasty. The service was lacking in my opinion. One of my friends ordered the special and had to wait over an hr for her food. Everyone had already finished eating and she still didn't get her food. The server was no where to be found. I feel the server should of been more attentive to our table. I looked around and everyone else seemed to be waited on, on a timely manner but our group of friends. The ambiance was pretty cool. I liked the way the restaurant was set up. But overall I was very disappointed in the service, even though the food was really good. So I'm not sure if I'd go back for a 2nd time.
