An absolutely terrible company. I scheduled online and they came and performed the service to get rid of bed bugs at my rental property, and after they left I never got a receipt after paying. Less than a week later, the bugs were still there and they will not return a call to schedule the 30 day warranty services I was guaranteed. read more

The techs hired through Enviropest are WONDERFUL. The business itself is not. the one and only time I was able to speak to someone local was when I called for my inquiry where they took my money. Now when I called for service I have to leave all of my info that should be in the system with someone in a call center. My past 3 service requests and billing question took about a month and many calls before they actually came out. I have been encouraged to use the online system for scheduling but I get error codes each time. This company has many reports of scamming consumers, they provide fake addresses and names, spoof google reviews, and frequently change their service areas for some reason. They also claim they never served areas in response to negative reviews and try to discredit individuals after cancelling their contracts, but you can see on the waybackmachine for their website they did in fact service the areas they're claiming they never did. Be very careful, and if you're scammed please do report them to the correct authorities (Attorney General, BBB, Department of State, etc.). read more

Don't do it. I wish I would have done more due diligence. I had wasps in my home my fiancé and I got stung in our sleep, they came out and the issue was not resolved. I was told if that is the case to give a call back and they'll gladly return. I call back was told to give it a couple days. Call back in a couple of days, was told nobody could come out. I said you know what don't even worry about it I'm going to get a refund and get some professional assistance. Once I declared I wanted a refund then all of a sudden someone was available. There was never any resolution. They do terrible business, I'd rather live with wasps then do business with these people again. Terrible. I'm mad I can't give them 0 stars. read more

Alonzo was a great tech. But shortly after we had our first two visits and by that I mean one month into our contract someone burned the house. Their answer was a automated response that they don't give any partial refunds and they'll keep the contract in effect. ON A BURNED OUT BOARDED UP HOUSE!!! Long story short, they DO NOT honor the contract you paid for, they ghost you, if you get a hold of someone which is only if you PRETEND to be a new customer, THEY LIE, LIE, LIE, which led to them blocking mine and my husbands phone numbers so we were unable to contact through that line. Enviropest's technician has always been thorough going through the basement and the main floor of our house. He took us around the outside of the house and showed us all the small crevices that the mice were entering our home. He plugged those holes and inspects them every time he visits our home. We live in a rural area near a woods and fields so we had a lot of mice! Since Enviropest has treated our home we have had only 2 mice in the last 3 years! Highly recommend them! read more

EnviroPest is a good company and they do a great job at extermination. My only issue is that when they visit, they usually only give you a one-day text notice. So you know what day they will be there, but don't have a clue about what time. I can't sit home all day waiting for the appointment. I would appreciate a one-hour telephone call before arrival, not a text as I don't normally monitor my text messages or hear them come in. I've missed appointments on more than one occasion because of this. read more

Previous tenants who stayed only 2 months between house purchases had roaches and never said a thing. My new tenants moved in and what a nice surprise (NOT). "Rob" seemed knowledgeable on the phone but that is where it ends. They did not tell the tech what he was spraying for and he was 2 hours late. I was unable to get into the upstairs apartment due to tenants changing the locks and not telling me (not Enviro pest's fault) but I tried to get them to go back and no response after leaving several messages and being hung up on by a customer service rep even though I was not cussing. I was immediately charged almost $600 before the tech even came out and he was more concerned about the payment than doing his job. AVOID! read more

Mike has come to our home several times in the past year and a half. He is always timely, pleasant to speak with, and knowledgable. They have helped rid our home of carpenter ants and silverfish. We do pay for the yearly package with scheduled treatments and yard service and believe it is worth it. read more

My tenants are having a rat problem. Envirotech came once and set a baited trap. Weeks later, another rat was detected and I had to call them to come back and they did not return my call. I called again and they sent someone out to the house and all he did was re-bait a rat trap. I could of done this my self!!! Another rat was detected today, I called Envirotech, they are supposed to call be back and havent yet. I am sure I will have to call them again.... and I am sure all he will do is add another block of bait in the trap. Again, I could do this myself, but I paid $400.00 for 3 blocks of bait! I want to get my money back, but I suspect that will not happen. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I had EnviroPest come to my house and spray for Yellow Jackets that were outside and inside my house. I paid over $200 for one service and then needed follow up maintenance since they came back rather quickly. It is impossible to get a call back from these people even after being a long standing customer with the previous owner. I keep getting the run around of "check your email" or "someone will call you back" and we never hear from them again. When someone has bees INSIDE THEIR HOUSE I would take that as an emergency call to get back to a customer quickly. My daughter uses Exodus and called them for us. Although we are new customers Exodus came to our house within 2 hours to help us fix our problem. I will never use this company again! read more

Update 01/15/2016 After a long time Long battle with enviro tech over money, a poor service on my lawn, bills that shouldn't be sent, phone calls correcting said bills, only to be sent more bills and phone calls telling me to pay them. I currently have a credit of $155 that I want refunded. They refuse. I am actually supposed to have a tech here today to spray for bugs, guess who isn't coming? No one will address my calls or emails. They just do such a poor job, that they hope you will leave your money on the table just to be done with it. I also know they owe a ton a money to a company a friend works for, as she suggested I stay away from them. I should have listened. They are a shady company. If you do insist on using them don't pay for it all upfront. Just by the service. I suggest town and country for pests and tru green for lawns. Or just do it yourself. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! Tech came out in March. Paid for a year service. I have tried to call for about 2 months now to schedule the next treatment. No one ever calls back, and now I am receiving bills for the March visit that I already paid for. I have also emailed many times, and no one ever replies back. I have spoken to my credit card to get a refund from the money I paid for a years worth of service. It is a shame, since I have used this company for almost a decade. Just as the previous reviewer said -- I don't know what happened to them! I have used Envirotech for years and it was always easy to make an appointment and the technician was always prompt, if not early. Not anymore! They have apparently switched to a system where you are assigned one technician with whom you directly schedule your services -- which I only learned after two frustrating weeks of trying to leave voicemails on a general number and not getting a return call. I finally found an email address to get connected with my technician....and then he never showed up on the day of our appointment. See ya, Envirotech. I'll be going elsewhere. read more

Buyer Beware! I went with Enviro-tech for a pest problem and yellow jackets. The sales guy seemed very knowledgable and easy to contact. For my first appointment, the tech was 20 minutes late. I didn't say anything, as he was nice and seemed to be thorough. I schedule another two-week follow-up appointment for 7a. I set my alarm to wake up early and waited, and waited, and waited...nothing! I called the "customer service" line, to see if the tech was still coming. The lady took a message. After about 2.5 hours, and three phone calls to "customer service" with no help, the tech showed up at my door. I told him I would be rescheduling. He responded with "what's the problem". I informed him of his 7a missed appointment with me, and he said he had an emergency call this morning...no phone call to let me know. I could smell him from 3 feet away, and there was no way I was letting him into my house. The "customer service" line only goes to a message center that directs your message to someone in the company. It's been 5 days, and I've still not received a call back. Seriously, find a different company! read more

I wouldn't recommend these crooks at all. I called because I was having a carpenter ant problem and they promised me the world but after the sale they didn't deliver. They double charged my account for service and when I called the women in the office gave me the run around. I've heard horror stories about this company after I had already signed up. I had an appointment in December 2016 that I called to confirm, spoke with the technician who confirmed and then he never showed. When I tried to call him - he did not answer nor did he respond to my message. In January, I received an invoice for the service that was never performed. When I tried to call the company, you end up in a voice system and cannot reach an actual person. So I sent back a note on the invoice indicating thats the service was never performed. Have not heard from a single employee since. They finally stopped sending email invoices. Next I started receiving multiple renewal notices by email - I sent an email indicating that I will not be renewing because of the very poor service level. Now they are sending renewal notice by US mail. Still have not heard from an employee. Definitely do NOT recommend. read more

They added an additional charge for environmentally friendly treatment and then told me it wouldn't work for the type of carpenter ants we had. Then they charged me for a day of treatment that never took place. They do not return voicemails and I do not believe I will ever receive the refund I am due. If you are foolish enough to hire them, pay with a credit card so the credit card company can act on your behalf when you are not given the service for which you paid. read more

I cannot warn you enough to stay away from this cash grab scam. I own several apartment buildings and signed a year long contract with Envirotech to handle our pest control. According to our contract, Envirotech is to perform quarterly treatments (one person spraying the foundation of our buildings - maybe 15 minutes 4 times a year), and 24 hour response emergency services call (that includes a service charge). Although I paid in full at the beginning of the contract, (which Envirotech botched by cashing my check for half the amount the check was written for - I don't even know how that can happen) every quarterly service includes a call from the service technician telling me I owe several hundred dollars for the quarterly service, even though I paid up front for the year. I also randomly received several automated calls throughout the year threatening to terminate my contract unless I pay for the past-due quarterly service (again, I paid for the year - see above). This brings me to my breaking point, which prompted me to take the time to write this review. On Saturday (8/13/2016), a tenant contacted me about a number of wasps in her apartment and a potential hive in her wall. I called Envirotech immediately and left a message with their answering service. Side note - all calls to Envirotech are routed through a third party answering service, so I haven't actually spoken to an Envirotech employee during this saga. Although Envirotech plays up their 24-hour emergency service, I did not receive a call regarding this problem of the weekend. I understand everyone needs a break and chalked this lack of response up to the weekend timing. I still did not receive a call by Monday (8/15/16), so I contacted them again around 10 am with my "emergency." I drove from Washington DC to Rochester NY and still did not receive a return call. The nice people at the answering service told me they could "re-forward my request" every 15 minutes so I called back every 15 minutes for several hours (a total of 19 calls throughout the day). The answering service told me my calls were forwarded but no response was received. So here I am, 62 hours into this ordeal (Tuesday morning on 8/16/16) and I still haven't heard from Envirotech. I'm left with paying a new company to deal with the wasp problem and more questions than answers regarding what I actually paid Envirotech to do. In summary, I don't have any experience dealing with bees, wasps, or hornets so I chose to contract Envirotech (and paid them several thousand dollars) to deal with pest control for my rental properties. For the amount of money I paid, I was assured that Envirotech would handle my pest control issues in a timely and professional manner. This has not happened and I warn you to stay away from this company. I hope this review can save you some of the time, hassle, and money I've lost. read more

Beware! If you sign up for annual service, it is YOUR responsibility to cancel it for the next year or they will send a tech and charge you for the service as an individual call. Oh, and if you do call and cancel, they won't actually cancel the service until your bill is paid. We had annual service in the past and always had to request service to start. Not this year...they sent a postcard and a tech while we were on vacation for 2 wks. We didn't know they were coming and weren't able to cancel the call as there wasn't enough time between sending the postcard and sending the tech (less than 2 wks). They charged us full price for the one time service. I called to discuss this as I didn't think I should have to pay, but was put on hold and then hung up on. I sent a letter requesting the service be cancelled and someone to contact me, but no one responded at all. Instead, I received another bill with a late fee. I called and asked to cancel and said they would, but then I received another postcard. I called and said I requested to cancel and was told they can't cancel until I paid my bill. REALLY?! They are going to keep sending a tech and keep billing me... I ended up paying for the service I never wanted or asked for, just so I could cancel the service. My husband then called and told them that if a tech set foot on our property he would call the police for trespassing. A little overkill? Probably, but they didn't seem to get it otherwise. This is a very dishonest company. They make their money by scamming customers that they have under contract. When I called them out for their little scam they transferred me to 4 different people and eventually the call was dropped and they wouldn't return any of my calls. STAY AWAY!!!! read more
