The Wake Forest location came highly recommended to me as an urgent care that not only could do the examination, but could meet any medical needs. I now completely agree that this location is truly amazing. The staff were absolutely incredible, the facilities were new and fresh, and my visit was treated with respect and kindness. The doctors/nurses at MyCare are very kind people and make you feel comfortable. However, the front desk staff aren't the friendliest people the few times I've come in. Healthcare in this country is unreasonably expensive, and unfortunately, when I needed my ears checked and all that was needed to be done was to clean them out, my bill was over $200 after insurance. If the need arises, MyCare 365 is my preferred urgent care location, albeit the high healthcare prices.

Savannah went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and went over the process with me to make sure I understood everything. I experienced no pain or discomfort during the procedure at all! Of course, my eye doctor, James Wood of Chapel Hill Ophthalmology, had a lot to do with the actual surgery, but the staff here gave him wonderful support. I was scheduled to have my other eye done at a different facility, but after my experience at Davis, I called and changed my appointment to have it done here! I was charged for a full 30+ minute visit ($255) for what was actually a virtual Covid diagnosis call, which should have been something like $25 as advertised at their office. This happened 10 months ago and I am still getting the run around from their billing department. I spoke to someone months ago who said she was looking into it and has never called me back. Their outgoing voice mail says they will return voice messages within 24 hours. They have not once called me back after 3 or 4 follow-up inquiries. 2. They charge a higher amount for 30 minutes-or-less visit, as they do for a 31-to-40 minute visit. If I schedule a 30 minute visit, and it happens to go over by a minute or two, I don't think it's my responsibility to watch the clock. I find it dishonest to let the appointment run over and then charge me more. The efficiency of the office flow should be on them, not the patient. I am not a difficult patient who sticks around and asks multiple extra questions. This happened on a different office visit than the Covid call mentioned above. Strike 2. 3. I just got charged a $25 appointment cancelation fee for a recent appointment I had to miss due to showing Covid symptoms. From my point of view, I didn't cancel the appointment -- they did! Of course, no once answers when you try to call and discuss (see point 1). 3 strikes, time to move on to someone else.

I wish I had come here first. Between paperwork, triage, and medical evaluation we were there less than an hour. Be aware they do use triage guidelines which means the sickest get seen first just like in an ER.
